No elevator we arrived late had to take 2 heavy cases up to 3rd floor made my back hurting for several days of cause it is a late arrival but n front desk to help. the bed was 2 twin beds put together as a king bed, in the night kept slip into the gap between the two twin bed, haha, very dark bed sheets, never seen a bed sheets not in white. so you cannot tell if it is clean sheets or not. it is good to have a large yard to park your car and close to the Castle - they say 20 minutes walk distance, - don't =even try to walk, there is no side walk to walk on the narrow weg to the castle parking #3 the nearest parking you must drive to the castle, if you walk, it may take more than 20 minutes and can be dangerous with the cars running on the narro road. It is Ok tostay at this place and forget about it.

체크인을 할때 호텔방을 바꿨어요 룸이 두개로 테라스가 딸려있는 3층 방이었어요.테라스에서 노이반슈타인성이 보입니다 침구도 따뜻하고 푹신해서 잘 잤네요 조식은 간단하지만 깔끔하게 나옵니다 단저이 있다면 엘리베이터는 없다는것 ㅠ

My friend and I stayed at this gem of a hotel for 2 nights. Of course it is so convenient to the castles- but the hotel was incredible. Family owned and run since 1933. Had e-bikes and regular which were great as we biked all over the valley. We ate at the restaurant our first night. They were serving 5:30-7:30. The food was SO delicious we decided to eat again our second night! The owner is the cook and she was amazing. The family was so friendly and helpful - I just can’t say enough for the praise. Beds were super comfy and the bathroom was great.See you again Hotel Waldmann!

Das Hotel ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Füssen und Neuschwanstein sind mit dem Bus oder zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es ist ein gemütliches typisch bayerisches Hotel. Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist sehr stark befahren und das ist auch auf dem Zimmer zu hören. Wenn es draußen warm war, ist es im Zimmer auch ziemlich warm geworden. Das Frühstück war super. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Für Kinder gibt es dort ein Trampolin eine Tischtennisplatte, Fußballtor und Schaukeln.

We chose the hotel because it’s located just a few minutes drive from the Neuschwanstein Castle which was very convenient. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was very polite and friendly. Outside parking is free and easy. We would go ahead!

Nice property. Rooms were basic but functional, clean and had everything you need. Kettle/tea/coffee/mugs/extra blankets outside in a communal area to bring into the room if you need. Bed comfortable, loads of parking. Breakfast reasonable continental style. Staff very friendly. Location is a bit out of town - equidistant from Füssen/Scheangau/HoheSchwangau for the castles. Just a bit to far to walk into a town for an evening though. Otherwise great facility.

Hotel Waldmann was absolutely picturesque! The location couldn’t have been better—just minutes from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, and close to the charming town of Füssen. We stayed in an apartment with a king bed and two twin beds, which was perfect for our family. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast buffet each morning was a lovely touch. We highly recommend Hotel Waldmann and would definitely stay here again!

Our family loved our stay at Hotel Waldmann. The hotel setup was perfect for our family of 4, with a room with 2 twin beds for the kids and another room with 1 queen bed for us. The staff were extremely friendly, and we saw the same wonderful people everyday. The breakfast was delicious and we found the lunch packets great and convenient.

The hotel was lovely, but their wifi signal was quite poor and dropped a lot. Other than that it was a very wonderful room. The water pressure was hard, the water temp was very hot, the VIEW was just perfect. There is a terrific little food truck about a 15/20 minute walk from the hotel! The pancakes, I mean, the pfannkuchens were AMAZING!!! The bratwurst were grilled and delicious! The french fries were cooked right, super crunchy but soft in the center. The Burger...just get the burger too!

Fantastic location to visit Neuschwanstein castle. The staff were super friendly, even when we arrived for a late check in. The room was very comfy and the buffet breakfast was very good quality 👍

Das Hotel ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Füssen und Neuschwanstein sind mit dem Bus oder zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es ist ein gemütliches typisch bayerisches Hotel. Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist sehr stark befahren und das ist auch auf dem Zimmer zu hören. Wenn es draußen warm war, ist es im Zimmer auch ziemlich warm geworden. Das Frühstück war super. Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Für Kinder gibt es dort ein Trampolin eine Tischtennisplatte, Fußballtor und Schaukeln.

Great base for the Füssen area if you don't want to be right in town. Views of Neuschwanstein Castle from some rooms & the dining room & short drive or bus ride to the castles. Near town as well. We had a great time, and had a great dinner in the restaurant 1 of our 2 nights.

We chose the hotel because it’s located just a few minutes drive from the Neuschwanstein Castle which was very convenient. Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff was very polite and friendly. Outside parking is free and easy. We would go ahead!

Nice property. Rooms were basic but functional, clean and had everything you need. Kettle/tea/coffee/mugs/extra blankets outside in a communal area to bring into the room if you need. Bed comfortable, loads of parking. Breakfast reasonable continental style. Staff very friendly. Location is a bit out of town - equidistant from Füssen/Scheangau/HoheSchwangau for the castles. Just a bit to far to walk into a town for an evening though. Otherwise great facility.

The staff was welcoming and spoke to us in English - very helpful. Our room was beautiful with a balcony and a view of the castles. Just a short ride to the castles. We included breakfast and it was delicious. I loved that this was a family owned and run business. Would highly recommend

This hotel is outside of the town of Fussen in a lovely country setting. It is very conveniently located near Mad Ludwig's castles. In fact, we could see both castles from our bathroom window! If you have a car, there is plenty of parking available. And the driving distance to the castles is under 5 minutes. The hotel has a restaurant on the main floor but it was closed on the night we were there. But it was no problem for us to drive into Fussen to find a place to eat. If you didn't have a car, you would have to rely on the bus system to get you around. The hotel has no elevator and, once again, we were on the top floor. The room was a little tight but the bathroom was one of the biggest we had on our 3 weeks in Germany and Austria. It could use a little updating though. Breakfast was nice. Overall, another charming hotel in a perfect location.

My friend and I stayed at this gem of a hotel for 2 nights. Of course it is so convenient to the castles- but the hotel was incredible. Family owned and run since 1933. Had e-bikes and regular which were great as we biked all over the valley. We ate at the restaurant our first night. They were serving 5:30-7:30. The food was SO delicious we decided to eat again our second night! The owner is the cook and she was amazing. The family was so friendly and helpful - I just can’t say enough for the praise. Beds were super comfy and the bathroom was great.See you again Hotel Waldmann!

The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. If people smoke in the terraces next to yours you better close doors and windows as the smokes comes into the bedroom. Breakfast is 12.50eur which we found expensive for whats served, we decided not to pay for breakfast on our second day and went somewhere else.

The hotel was great. The staff in particular was excellent. Very helpful and accommodating. Would recommend this place any day of the week. The only problem we had was due to the extreme heat while we’re there and the fact that there was no air conditioning and only one table fan for two adjacent rooms.

Clean room and friendly staff. One side of the hotel has a gorgeous view of Neuschwanstein. A short drive to Hohenschwangau to visit the castles and overlook. The breakfast is definitely European/ German style but you can get cooked to order eggs. Cute playground and garden swing.
