Luxury apartment in Chateau d’Oex with use of pool and large exclusive terrace

What a wonderful stay we had! Our holiday in Château-d'Oex was absolutely fabulous, and this apartment was a big part of that. The views were simply amazing and provided the backdrop for our relaxing evenings on the terrace. We particularly enjoyed having the pool and sauna all to ourselves every afternoon. The apartment was a quiet and peaceful retreat, and its location was a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Plus, the town itself is so charming!

The only issue we had was the bed in the main bedroom, while it was comfortable it was too low and we found getting up out of it a bit of a struggle. But everything else was brilliant and the views are amazing

This is a wonderful place and it met our needs perfectly. Chateau-d'Oex is a small town (maybe a thousand or two residents) on the train line in the Gruyere region, surrounded by alpine pastures. It has some nice shops but is very quiet compared to the better-known tourist meccas. There is a lot of great hiking in the area, including trails within a stone's throw of the entrance of the residence. It's also easy to venture to other parts of Switzerland via rail or car. We will be back.

Chateau d’ Oex was our rest stop between the Jungfrau region and Zermatt. The apartment is spacious, clean and has an amazing deck with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay!
