The hotel is good but the internet isn’t good in the bedrooms and the tv keep going on and off and led on the kettle was Fred and was dangerous apart from that it was ok the restaurant was good but a bit expensive and we went down later on for something light to eat at the bar but they were not light snacks to eat apart from dinners

Everything was lovely stuff were great, it’s a little expensive, breakfast was served which was a nice change though my husband didn’t like the sausages which was our only disappointment Overall great stay

Very authentic historic hotel with atmospheric bedrooms and public areas. However restaurant extremely expensive and for us delivered poor food, scallops with sickly cheesy sauce and slab of dubiously cooked monkfish. Breakfast self serve great but cooked selection much less so, tasteless fry for me and undercooked watery mushrooms on soggy sourdough for wife. In summary great looking hotel let down by poor overly expensive food.
