Very nice people. Great service. However the bathroom and the shower are shared which is a big downside. We didn’t really catch this information before….Also the WiFi wasn’t working in the evening which was a downside too

Nice property and great location in a quiet part of venice. Good breakfast. We had a nice stay and it was good value. Great AC too which was important.. The only negative was that the beds were very uncomfortable.

Walter is a excellent host. Nice breakfast each morning outside in his garden area .They say you always get lost in Venice and this place is no exception. We misplaced his rental several times but thats part of Venice .Great room

We stayed in a quadruple room with shared bathroom, there was only 3 of us and if there’d been 4 it would’ve been tight. Shared bathroom was just across the landing so easy to see if the other room was using it and we did have a sink in our room. Room was basic but comfortable and had a free safe to use. Check in was good, breakfast was simple but enough, we mentioned we were leaving early on our last day so breakfast was left in our room the day before which was nice. Location was great and easy to get to from both train and bus station. Would stay again but try and book a en suite room next time.

Casa mimma est un hôtel sympa et pas trop cher à une vingtaine de minutes de la place Saint-Marc et 10 mn du pont du Rialto à pied. Les chambres sont un peu anciennes mais ça fait partie du charme. Le petit déjeuner est le même tous les matins avec un croissant fourré à la confiture, une tranche de pain de mie grillé et deux biscottes boisson chaude ou froide dans le petit jardin qui est agréable même si bourré de moustiques. Je recommande pour un bon rapport qualité-prix

De kamer is echt alleen een kamer. We hadden voor 5 pers geboekt maar bij het controleren haddrn ze maar voor 4 pers de kamer klaar gemaakt. Er was snel een bed bijgezet, dus dat was goed en fijn maar 2 vd 5 bedden waren logeerbedden die je opgeklapt weg kunt zetten en we moesten 40 euro extra betalen. Ontbijt is echt Italiaans, brood met jam, slechte cappuccino en niet meer van deze tijd. Kamer en badkamer waren wel echt megaschoon, schoonmaak is super en de service ook. Vriendelijk en flexibel.

La habitación era pequeña pero es algo que ya sabíamos. El problema es q cortinas, colchas y sofá se veían sucios. Deberían cambiarlos o al menos lavarlos. El baño tampoco estaba muy limpio. Para dos noches pasable. El desayuno muy bueno y el personal muy amable.

The property is in a very quiet part of town. The owner, Walter, is so very kind and accommodating. He will not be in the hotel, except for certain hours, however he is reachable by text (in the Expedia app) quickly and is very quick to resolve any concerns. He was so very accommodating to my gluten free needs for breakfast. The hotel itself is older and has thin walls. The restroom was not exactly clean as it has mold on the walls. I would recommend a cleaning service.

We stayed at this property for four days. It's a cute small property with fairly small rooms. But they have an easy walk to the railway station and croissant and toast with coffee in the mornings. The room was too small which was sold as quadruple size but infact was even smaller than normal double bedroom. Extra beds provided were two small and uncomfortable. The sheets were dusty. There was no much information provided by host about the local area or attraction. Overall we had terrible experience at this property-spoiled our experience at the beautiful city of Venice.

Reasonable walking distance to train. Good communication about late checkin. Lock box arrangement worked well. Nice patio for breakfast and enjoying a glass of wine in evening. Downside of hotel was poor internet and no English tv channel. Also sewer gas smell in bathroom needs to be rectified.

A one-night stay for us, and it was fine for what we needed. Location is excellent and on the main island unlike most reasonably priced accommodation. It's a budget hotel, and by that I mean Venice version of a budget. The room was incredibly dated, parts of the bathroom looked like they were on their last legs. I was a very frustrated on arrival as I booked a triple room - one queen bed and one single - and our room was just one double bed for me and my brother. Fortunately it turned out they were two singles pushed together however they were made-up with bedding for a double bed so we had to improvise. There were no staff on the premises for me to raise this with and as we were only staying for one night we made do. Like I said, the location is great so if its a flying visit then I would happily stay again but certainly not for any longer period of time.

Old building. Only a few rooms. Great location, easy walk from station and vaporetto stop. Really liked the neighbourhood, some nice bars that didnt feel too touristy. Stayed in a 4 bed family room with shared bathroom. The kids beds weren't the comfiest. Communication before we arrived was good, check-in was awesome! We were able to get into our room at 11 o'clock! Could have been more storage in the room, faster wifi and more coffee at breakfast. However this is Venice and i would definately return.

Lovely property in quiet area. But turn a corner and there are many restaurants and little bars. Excellent value for Venice. We were made feel very welcome and as we had to leave early for a flight, the owner packed us a takeaway breakfast. Wonderful touch. Close to SL train station which is excellent if you are doing many cities by train.

Host was excellent, verg helpful and friendly. It is basic, but good value for money. We loved the location as only 10 mins from the station, 2 mins from a vaporetto, and about 15-20 mins from all the major sites.

We had an incovenience and we were not able to get the entry instructions to check in around 10 pm. We called the contact number and the person that responded was great, he gave us the instructions and we were able to get in. Location is close from the train station, very convenient. The only caviat was that the shower was kind of small but no big issue. I would stay there again.

A one-night stay for us, and it was fine for what we needed. Location is excellent and on the main island unlike most reasonably priced accommodation. It's a budget hotel, and by that I mean Venice version of a budget. The room was incredibly dated, parts of the bathroom looked like they were on their last legs. I was a very frustrated on arrival as I booked a triple room - one queen bed and one single - and our room was just one double bed for me and my brother. Fortunately it turned out they were two singles pushed together however they were made-up with bedding for a double bed so we had to improvise. There were no staff on the premises for me to raise this with and as we were only staying for one night we made do. Like I said, the location is great so if its a flying visit then I would happily stay again but certainly not for any longer period of time.

Lovely property in quiet area. But turn a corner and there are many restaurants and little bars. Excellent value for Venice. We were made feel very welcome and as we had to leave early for a flight, the owner packed us a takeaway breakfast. Wonderful touch. Close to SL train station which is excellent if you are doing many cities by train.

Quaint space with a lovely inner courtyard and friendly staff. Very nice room. Nice small breakfast. Near late dining and near enough to most sites. It was an easy walk from the bus stop.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, tout était super sauf les oreiller qui était vraimeng trop mince et inconfortable. Sinon l’emplacement était génial (10 min) a pied de la gare, et 20 min du centre. Bon petit resto a coté. Le monsieur à l’acceuil étaig super gentil, le dej était bon! C’était tranquille, pouf le prix c’était parfait ! Merci

Charming! Not too far from the train station and close to some shops and restaurants. Main points of interest are walkable or you can take the water taxi which isn’t far. This was my second stay here and I would go back again!

Old building. Only a few rooms. Great location, easy walk from station and vaporetto stop. Really liked the neighbourhood, some nice bars that didnt feel too touristy. Nice property and great location in a quiet part of venice. Good breakfast. We had a nice stay and it was good value. Great AC too which was important.. The only negative was that the beds were very uncomfortable.

De kamer is echt alleen een kamer. We hadden voor 5 pers geboekt maar bij het controleren haddrn ze maar voor 4 pers de kamer klaar gemaakt. Er was snel een bed bijgezet, dus dat was goed en fijn maar 2 vd 5 bedden waren logeerbedden die je opgeklapt weg kunt zetten en we moesten 40 euro extra betalen. Ontbijt is echt Italiaans, brood met jam, slechte cappuccino en niet meer van deze tijd. Kamer en badkamer waren wel echt megaschoon, schoonmaak is super en de service ook. Vriendelijk en flexibel.

Walter is a excellent host. Nice breakfast each morning outside in his garden area .They say you always get lost in Venice and this place is no exception. We misplaced his rental several times but thats part of Venice .Great room

Pas de salle de bains dans la chambre! Non seulement il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner buffet, c'est un mensonge pur et simple. Mais il n'y a même pas une table ou s'asseoir. Nous avons du nous asseoir à quatre à une table prévu pour deux, et cela en plein du passage d'entrée/sortie. Vu la qualité du petit-déjeuner servi, c'était sans doute mieux de ne pas le prendre

Casa mimma est un hôtel sympa et pas trop cher à une vingtaine de minutes de la place Saint-Marc et 10 mn du pont du Rialto à pied. Les chambres sont un peu anciennes mais ça fait partie du charme. Le petit déjeuner est le même tous les matins avec un croissant fourré à la confiture, une tranche de pain de mie grillé et deux biscottes boisson chaude ou froide dans le petit jardin qui est agréable même si bourré de moustiques. Je recommande pour un bon rapport qualité-prix

This hotel is a delightful getaway from the crowds, yet convenient to a Vapporetto stop on the Grand Canal. Delightful local restaurants a short walk away. Breakfast in the peaceful garden was a great start to the day. Our only problem was that it was hard to find due to confusion with the address and a very small sign.
