Beautiful Modern Lodge! Game Room

First of all the house is at the top of the hill, which gives you amazing sunsets. Activities were super close by home location. The house was amazing with plenty of activities and space. I would love to stay here again.

We are a whole family of 6 family units, & it’s always a challenge to find a property for a week with six bedrooms, enough comfortable seating in the living area, & a large table to eat at, since we share our meals together—all for a reasonable price. This house fulfilled every one of those (we brought along 4 camp chairs for the living area). Daniel’s communication to us was probably the best we have ever had from a host, & I could tell he really wanted us to be comfortable and provide anything we were lacking within hours (the can opener story was very impressive!). Our family used the pool table every day, multiple times per day, & the amenities (we paid him the security deposit to get the fobs) at Saw Creek are impressive, clean, & fun. The fridge kept up with our constant demand for ice, we had hot water almost instantly (impressive for a 3-story home), & the AC was strong and responded to any temperature we set it at (it was pretty hot while wet were there). The grill is also better quality than ours! We ordered our groceries for pickup on our way up at the Giant in East Stroudsburg & added the paper towels, trash bags, TP, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, & hand soaps for the sinks which is clearly stated the house does not provide. This made it easy to not be concerned we forgot something. The linens on the beds were very comfortable, and the washer/dryer got a lot of use. Bring your own washcloths—I think previous renters accidentally take them!

Reasonable prices accommodations are comfortable. Stairs are steep to climb so if mobility is an issue I wouldn’t recommend. However, it’s a good accommodation based on other comparable listing

The fact that we had access to the indoor pool and that the slopes (well slope due to lack of any snow at all this year) were great for my grandchildren…..safe and friendly. Great area….will definitely be back!

Large house with plenty of space for our large party. Entrance into the house requires going up many stairs, so be aware if anyone in your party has mobility issues (see main photo). Communication with owner was easy and he was very responsive. Property needs some TLC but overall it had everything we needed.

This was a great trip! Enjoyed my time with old friends. Easy process going about rental agreement prior to the stay, and the house has a beautiful view. Not super accessible for anyone not willing to walk up some stairs, a bit outdated but gets the job done. Lord of rooms/beds. In the winter it’s a bit tough to control the heating especially in the basement downstairs, otherwise other areas in the house are fine! Game options/Netflix and Hulu in each room was a plus. Kitchen was good for entertainment. Cleaning could have been a bit better with sheets, though. Although, many towels were provided! The check in process for some of the guests was a nightmare with the front gate, however, the owner was extremely apologetic, and the issue was quickly resolved! Overall a 4/5 rating suits best.

Nice place to spend in the mountains with friends. Enough games in the house to keep entertained. Great experience.

We had a great time staying at this location! There are a lot of stairs to get up to the house, and no yard, but besides that everything else was great. Cozy and lots of great spots to hang out. Card room… game room… large kitchen and living room.

Great place and did us well for the weekend but the pictures were old so the house now actually had some wear and tear on it. To start the house could use a good cleaning. It also looks like it’s been a party house a few times. There are scratches all over the walls, holes in the ceiling from pool sticks, and the couch was broken. It almost seems that someone jumped from the second floor to the couch. The pool table, air hockey, and the foosball table were also wore out. Like I said at the beginning not a bad place just feel like the price was high. I was paying for a clean house with a nice pool table and just felt this place wasn’t what was pictured.

From the moment I reached out to Daniel before booking the place he responded quickly and always was willing to answer all of my questions. We received detailed information about our arrival the stay and departure which made the process very simple. The house was on a nice quiet cut-de-sac and was clean upon arrival. It was perfect for our stay!

Good price for the size and number of beds. The house is in need of some repairs. Electric heat showed signs of arcing and scorched the nearby carpet, stone countertop was broken near the sink, and trash can cabinet door was broken. We did not spend a long period of time at the house but seating was limited for our group of 8. Pool table and TVs were nice to pass the time between activities. WiFi was easy to connect to and fast. Grill was nice and had gas but need grill tools. Kitchen was serviceable but would be nice to have a few additional items for preparing meals.

Daniel was thorough & detailed with pre check-in items and made sure you read all the details of the bylaws/rules. He is very quick to respond to every message. Overall I had no issues with the host. Unfortunately the house does have issues which impacted our stay & were all relayed to Daniel. We had a large group of mostly family & a few friends stay for a long weekend for someone's 50th bday. Safety related: lights on the stairs are solar and the prev 3 days were rainy/cloudy so only 2 of the lights worked making those stairs dangerous. Some lights were broken off & laying on the ground which I propped up to get some light and it helped the following nights since they charged but still very inadequate. Large TV over fireplace had 2 of 4 bolts broken on the mount & only matter of time before fails. Other items: Finished basement level was damp &very musty smelling. There is a dehumidifier down there so appears to be a known issue but there was no mention of it. Couch on that level which was included in pictures & in the listing was missing, so no place to sit on lower level. Large red couch on main floor needs new box springs for most of it - besides kitchen island this was the only place to sit in the house. Refrigerator was missing 2 shelves & had no door shelving so we had to keep our food in coolers on the deck. Very inconvenient walking outside in the freezing temps everytime you needed something, and opening the door brought in cold air every time. Only stairs to the top floor are wooden spiral staircase so just beware if you don't like those. Backside of kitchen island is unfinished 2x4 frame unlike the front side. MAIN ITEM: grinder pump for the sewer line stopped working overnight &the house smelled of rotten eggs and sewer. We messaged Daniel when we woke up that morning & maintenance guy was there in 20 minutes to shake the pipe to get it pumping again. So he was very responsive but this was apparently the 3rd time in the last couple months it happened. Absolutely disgusting - some of over guests left. I was told if it happens again I should just shake the pipe like he did... Airing out the smell from the house was problematic since temps were in the 20s. Overall we were quite disappointed and I would recommend this house until the items are corrected, which Daniel did mention would be addressed - so just beware. House gets 2 stars, Daniel gets 4 stars, so average 3 star rating. First bad review I had to write.

Our friend group had an amazing stay here for our prom weekend. It was extremely clean upon arrival and easy getting into the community. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very nice. Host was easy to stay in touch with. 100% would do it again. Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our large group of 13. We had plenty of space to spread out and the host was fantastic with communication, quickly addressing any issues that arose. However, there were some areas that could be improved: * Seating: Not enough comfortable seating for everyone to relax together. The kitchen island had limited seating and the sofa was too small for our large group. Additional chairs in the living room would be a welcome addition. * TV Troubles: The main floor TV took a long time to get working. While we appreciate the host's help in troubleshooting, it was a bit frustrating to deal with upon arrival. * Grill Gripes: The grill was not cleaned properly and caused a grease fire when we first used it. This was a safety hazard and a bit concerning. * Ladybug Lounge: One of the bedrooms had a ladybug infestation. While we understand that these things can happen, it did detract from the overall experience. Overall, the house matched the pictures and was a good size for our group. However, with a few improvements to the details – more seating, a cleaner grill, and addressing the ladybug issue – this property could be truly fantastic.

The property was in a great location and allowed us to be outside and do fun events without traveling too far, for example Bushkill Falls was just an eleven minute drive. Wonderful kitchen and lots of room for all guests within the home. The group was surprised at how clean the home was. Great stay!

I really wasn't impressed with the home. It sleeps 16, however we only had 8 and there was only one couch that fit maybe 6 comfortable. The porch outside had an odor, the the screens on porch door were not intact. The firepit was so close to house we were a afraid to start a fire. Also I found that this house didn't have everything we needed to cook., As we had to go out for baking sheets.

Very clean and fun house super big and perfect for prom weekend and other family vacations. Owner is super nice and patient. And answers fast and efficiently. Will definitely be staying here again. 10/10 recommend

Overall good experience. Great communication. Nice community and amenities. One downside we noticed was for a six bedroom house, there wasn’t enough overall seating for everyone inside to relax. We enjoyed our trip though.

My son and his friends stayed here after attending their Senior Prom and wanted a weekend getaway to hang out and enjoy. The communication that I had as a parent with Daniel, the homeowner, to get permission for them to stay, as well as all of the extras to make sure that they would be safe was excellent. Daniel was very helpful in tying up all the details to make me feel at ease with my son staying for the weekend. The check in process was easy, there was plenty of parking, the kids had a great time. I would definitely recommend it as a place to feel safe letting your kids go for a post Prom celebration. Thanks Daniel!

Had a really lovely weekend just as the leaves were changing colors at this location. Great communal spaces and plenty of rooms for privacy. Near a bunch of fun hiking and rivers.

Large space to have as our Headquarters. Good centralized location to have trips to all the courses. Recommend for any large groups

Stayed here for 5 days with my friends after graduation and it was perfect. Great location, great communication with the host, and an incredible home.

The rental is located in a great area and the host was accommodating. Overall, it was an awesome experience!
