We stayed for 2 nights at the motor inn in Batmans Bay. The motor inn is a short walk from the main shopping area. Our room was large but then there were only two of us and it would be tight if there were 3 people. The motor inn is very dated and a lack of upkeep in the general yard area. There were tall weeds everywhere and debris in the pool and not inviting. The rooms were very dated and only updated where needed with lots of dust on windows and ledges. The towels need to be replaced as they may have been clean but were totally covered in thread pulls.

The need to wait for the office to open despite displayed hours was irritating. The manager Was very helpful with maps etc. good equipment in kitchen area. Quite uncomfortable single bed. Overall would stay again.

Basic but everything that you would need! Walked down to the Soldiers Club for dinner. Dipped our toes in the pool. There is only one way you can enter and exit the motel, which isn’t clear on Google maps but the round-about is just up ahead. Would stay again!

Only down side was that on our second night and the day of checkout we had no hot water so couldn't take a shower! Reception didn't open until 08:00am and we left well before that so couldn't do anything about it. Otherwise a good place stay, walking distance to shops etc and right across from the water.

The room was not cleaned or serviced for the three days. Floors especially shower area filghy. Owner said he had no cleaners, only he worked there. This property should not be listed for unsuspecting travellers. $100 per night would be an overvhsrge!

Sometime after our arrival we noticed cockroaches in the kitchen cupboard killed them and then went out to dinner. Upon our return and turning the light on the kitchen was crawling with cockroaches. We later found them in the bathroom vanity. The manager was apologetic and advised the outside had been sprayed a week ago and that he would contact the pest man to spray inside. The overall appearance was clean but the exhaust fans and light fittings needed cleaning

Overpriced! extreme water hammer when turning the shower on. Welcome booklet stated property had Foxtel. Welcome booklet stated Dial 9 for reception, but no phone in the room. Called 3 times and manger called back,stating that the booklet hadn't been updated. Stained pillow cases, and food from previous visitor under the bed.

When I asked about the air con’s operations the Manager without hesitation, immediately came & checked it with me - great service. This is a stand- alone facility, not part of a big Chain, so the Manager should be congratulated. Great value for money.

Hotel listed as closing at 9pm on line and in the information provided with the booking. We showed up at 8:15pm and the reception was closed. Tried ringing the bell multiple times with no response. Then tried phoning and someone kept hanging the phone up. Ended up having to book another hotel.
