There is no elevator in the property. The room was in the 3rd floor. When I first checked in the room that was provided had a red underwear hanging in the room. The shower was broken. I was then moved to another room. The room was ok. The staff was understanding about my concern.

La habitación la cama le faltó una para entonces siempre estuve durmiendo si a la orilla el baño tenía un rastrillo con pelos el jacussi nunca se pudo usar y la poca agua q salió súper sucia no tiene. Canales de Netflix a si q hay q tener una cuenta propia solo a parte de recepción súper súper bien el mejor anfitriónJose cuidador nocturno cumplió 10/10 todas las solicitudes y esoectativas el salvo mi estadía gracias súper recomendable su servicio y atención Jose

Não recomendo , frigobar não serve, achei uma barata no banheiro cama é feita de tijolo e concreto nao consegue até o sofa é de concreto, fiquei 3 dias e meu quarto não teve serviço de limpeza. Café da manhã sem variedades sempre a mesma coisa um sandwich seco parecendo que foi feito no dia anterior. Tem um jacuzzi esta nojento parese que nao teve limpeza faz tempo. Cofre para guardar joia nao serve. O cara que trabalha de manhã é show de bola gente boa mais a infraestructura não ajuda parabéns para ele. Não recomendo vir neste lugar.

Personal amable pero mal servicio. La puerta del baño no cerraba bien. No había suficiente lugar para sentarse a la hora del desayuno. No hacían suficiente café ni jugo para todos los huéspedes. Las toallas rotas. No había toalla de manos sino hasta que uno la pedía. No hicieron limpieza.

Nothing really wrong for price but online looks nicer than reality- old, outdated. Dirty cutip under bed- no towells or toilet paper in room (was provided when we asked). But again- was super cheap and if you just need a bed and a toilet for a night, was fine.

Cheap, but you get a cheap everything. Roaches all over the place. Stains on the sheets. The breakfast was the worst, did not even touched it. This place is falling apart.

That was my first bad experience. I was on my bed sleeping. It was raining. The roof was leaking. My room was completely flooding then there were some mousse tried to eat my bag. The service was bad. Bad hotel and bad service !

Building and rooms need a lot of maintenance and upkeep. Beds are extremely uncomfortable as their base is made of cement. Sink kept leaking and I'm also not a fan of showering with a cockroach. I also got this hotel because it had "breakfast included"... Which it did, but the problem was that it was available only from 8:30-9:30.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and always appreciate the quiet, dim ambiance. The beds are comfortable, and the tub is a nice touch. During my last stay, however, the housekeepers were cleaning the balcony at the end of the hallway outside my room, and water ended up on the floor, seeping into my room. It appears that this particular room is designed to allow the stream to flow in and drain into a small hole. Nothing will get damaged unless you place your bags or other items in that spot. This is the only room I've encountered with this issue. That said, I've noticed improvements with each visit, and overall, it's an excellent choice for the price in the area!

Paid 20-30 bucks for a quick place to sleep. It’s a charming little property that looks like it still around from the old days. Very nice to look at. The old rooms are part of the charm. The best part however is the location. A lot of beautiful things to see within walking distance. Combined with a the price it’s a perfect little spot to stay for a tourist on a budget

The room was fine, and the bed was comfortable, it was clean, and it had a refrigerator. Unfortunately, my room (#121, 3rd floor)was located adjacent to the terrace, and there were bright lights beaming through the window all night, and I had to practically beg to get them to at least unscrew the bulb above my window so that it was dark enough in the room to sleep comfortably. Also, there was a door that led to another room from my room, and I could hear everything through that door, as well as the glass doors to the terrace.... So being able to get a good night's sleep, or to sleep past 8:00 a.m. in the morning was a challenge. Also, the breakfast offering was quite a joke. It was only offered for 1 hour in the morning, between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., so I didn't have breakfast my first two mornings. But the third morning I went down and asked for breakfast, and the girl seemed like she reached behind the counter and brought out a ham and egg sandwich....it was ready instantly! In other words, it had been sitting there waiting for me. I opened up the barely-toasted, cold sandwich to find two little spots of cold, congealed eggs on each slice of bread, and one tiny little slice of ham that was divided between the two halves. So, in summary, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was a joke, but the location could not be beat for the price

The Malecon is literally down the street. There were many restaurants around that served authentic Dominican cuisine. The casino is right next door if you're into gambling. The room I had was gorgeous, and my bed was very comfy. I am definitely staying again when I come back.

Pésimo todo, llegamos al hotel, tenía reservado 2 habitaciones dobles y nos indicaron que solo había disponible 1 habitación simple. El personal pésimo trato y nos dijo que no podía hacer nada, que él era solo un empleado y que l aplicación no coordina con ellos la disponibilidad. Tuve que empezar a buscar otra opción. Las 7 pm pr mi familia.

La habitación la cama le faltó una para entonces siempre estuve durmiendo si a la orilla el baño tenía un rastrillo con pelos el jacussi nunca se pudo usar y la poca agua q salió súper sucia no tiene. Paid 20-30 bucks for a quick place to sleep. It’s a charming little property that looks like it still around from the old days. Very nice to look at. The old rooms are part of the charm. The best part however is the location. A lot of beautiful things to see within walking distance. Combined with a the price it’s a perfect little spot to stay for a tourist on a budget

The Malecon is literally down the street. There were many restaurants around that served authentic Dominican cuisine. The casino is right next door if you're into gambling. The room I had was gorgeous, and my bed was very comfy. I am definitely staying again when I come back.

Personal amable pero mal servicio. La puerta del baño no cerraba bien. No había suficiente lugar para sentarse a la hora del desayuno. No hacían suficiente café ni jugo para todos los huéspedes. Las toallas rotas. No había toalla de manos sino hasta que uno la pedía. No hicieron limpieza.

Had issues checking in, couldn't find reservation waited about 30 minutes to check in. Wifi not very good. Breakfast is pathetic, 1 egg 2 pieces of bread, and a piece of ham and cheese is not worth the additional cost. Bugs in bathroom.

The room was fine, and the bed was comfortable, it was clean, and it had a refrigerator. Unfortunately, my room (#121, 3rd floor)was located adjacent to the terrace, and there were bright lights beaming through the window all night, and I had to practically beg to get them to at least unscrew the bulb above my window so that it was dark enough in the room to sleep comfortably. Also, there was a door that led to another room from my room, and I could hear everything through that door, as well as the glass doors to the terrace.... So being able to get a good night's sleep, or to sleep past 8:00 a.m. in the morning was a challenge. Also, the breakfast offering was quite a joke. It was only offered for 1 hour in the morning, between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m., so I didn't have breakfast my first two mornings. But the third morning I went down and asked for breakfast, and the girl seemed like she reached behind the counter and brought out a ham and egg sandwich....it was ready instantly! In other words, it had been sitting there waiting for me. I opened up the barely-toasted, cold sandwich to find two little spots of cold, congealed eggs on each slice of bread, and one tiny little slice of ham that was divided between the two halves. So, in summary, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was a joke, but the location could not be beat for the price

Não recomendo , frigobar não serve, achei uma barata no banheiro cama é feita de tijolo e concreto nao consegue até o sofa é de concreto, fiquei 3 dias e meu quarto não teve serviço de limpeza. Café da manhã sem variedades sempre a mesma coisa um sandwich seco parecendo que foi feito no dia anterior. Tem um jacuzzi esta nojento parese que nao teve limpeza faz tempo. Cofre para guardar joia nao serve. O cara que trabalha de manhã é show de bola gente boa mais a infraestructura não ajuda parabéns para ele. Não recomendo vir neste lugar.

Building and rooms need a lot of maintenance and upkeep. Beds are extremely uncomfortable as their base is made of cement. Sink kept leaking and I'm also not a fan of showering with a cockroach. I also got this hotel because it had "breakfast included"... Which it did, but the problem was that it was available only from 8:30-9:30.

Unfortunately you get what you pay for. It is affordable but very run down and in need of upgrades and maintenance. The pictures on the website do not reveal how poorly upkept this place is. I reserved a room with two beds. It was not available. They gave me two rooms one with two beds, one with one bed. I could not take both as I have small children. The remote for the TV in the room was missing and we were not provided an option to get a different room or a replacement remote or TV. One front desk staff member was nice. The other was not. Breakfast is included which was nice.

This was my third time staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was the first time I felt compelled to write a negative review. The check‑in process was frustrating from the start. I was suddenly told I had to pay in cash, even though I’ve always used my card during previous stays. On top of that, I was assigned a room on the second floor despite specifically requesting a first‑floor room. It took an entire week to be moved, and only after I insisted because my room hadn’t been cleaned and the toilet stopped working. The internet situation made things even more difficult. The Wi‑Fi only worked properly in the foyer or on the second‑floor balcony, which meant I had to go to internet cafés just to work remotely in peace. For someone who chose this hotel partly because of past reliability, this was disappointing. I will say that the staff is friendly for the most part, and the egg breakfast is still delicious. I also understand that the owner was away on vacation, which may explain why things felt disorganized this time. Despite the issues, I would consider staying here again, but I hope the management addresses these problems so future visits can match the quality I experienced before.
