The hotel was very nice and the breakfast options and staff were excellent. Our only objections were that the bed in the handicap accessible room was really too firm, the location of the room was at the very end of the hall which meant quite a bit of walking for someone with mobility issues, and we were not informed the indoor pool was closed for renovations until we checked in.

For the price I couldn’t ask for anything more. Check in was easy, complementary popcorn & bottled water in room and cookies & sweet tea available in lobby every evening. Room was clean. And breakfast buffet was great with excellent attentive staff.

Hotel may probably be ok, but attention to details was severely lacking. Bed was made perfectly, but half cup of coffee and empty plate left on bedside table. Half bottle of water, half a candy bar, and boxes of pop tarts left on coffee bar. People above had dogs running and playing catch , I complained noise stopped, until they put dog in crate, then the tail wagging against the crate until 11:30. If you allow large dogs, put them on the ground floor. Hire a cleaning supervisor to check behind lazy maids.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with choices each day. Staff was friendly and helpful. When the ice machine was broken, the maintenance staff went out to buy bagged ice and got me some ice right away.

Overwhelming perfume in room assuming masking pet issues affected us negatively because of allergies. Areas of mold in bathroom and no mat when exiting shower. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Good breakfast options.

Front desk was super friendly. Room was clean. Conditions of room were not good however they are going through remodel. Carpet was torn up by bathroom. Furniture is all scraped up. Bad smell in room also

We had an issue with the room they gave us as smelled like mildew or sewer smell. Front desk was excellent in trying to get us another room immediately. The common areas were nice and clean only other issue was pool is closed due to upcoming renovations which was disappointing as that was one reason we booked there.

The room we stayed in had likely been vomited in, and the smell was noticeable. When we asked the cleaning folks for something to mask the smell, it was not understood. We eventually acclimated to the odor and it was no longer noticeable, but every time we left and re-entered, the smell was back. Otherwise, decent stay. The fresh baked cookies were a plus!

It was clean staff were kind however I was not pleased with the television it was not user friendly no internet connection couldn’t link my own apps like Netflix etc., size of tv was nice but not a smart tv. I was not happy because my last day I wanted to just simply relax and watch tv but all of the shows/ channels were old with an exception to the news. This is a must! Please upgrade

So this seemed to be an older hotel that was being remodeled for HIE. With that being said, our room was an adjoining room and wasn’t very sound proof from the adjoining room, we could hear their conversations as if the door between the rooms were open. Otherwise staff was great, room was clean and the breakfast was wonderful.

My nephew made the reservation for Sanford however when I went to check in as I am 79 and took me longer for holiday traffic, I check in at 830pm to find out it was made for Sanford NC and not Sanford, FL. So the clerk would not call the other location or make the correction so When I was able to get through I was advised I needed to contact hotels.com. I called them and they stated this was not their fault and because I was checking in so late I would need to pay one nights amount. I dont believe this is far as we have booked multiple times with hotels and had no issues. I was going to visit my 89 year old friend in hospice who actually passed away today on my drive back. Was just an added stress, and my nephew advised it did not say Sanford NC. Only said Sanford and did not really know there was one in NC as we just moved there and lived in Florida all my life . And to top it off the front desk person was very rude to me and would not help at the location in Sanford FL. So that was an added stress I had to deal with and at 79 it got me so frustrated when they could have taken a few minutes to explain everything and it was not busy at check in

Hotel was great. Best staff I've ever had at a hotel. One of the best complimentary breakfasts I've seen. Only issue is the outdated technology. Got locked out of my room more than 5 times because my key stopped working. Seemed like this is a common issue at hotel

The wonderful lady who checked me in was so friendly and such a pleasure to speak with. She obviously enjoys be job and is a great representative of the hotel. The fresh- baked cookies were another bonus. I was also pleasantly surprised to find they still provide microwaves in the rooms. Will definitely be staying there again when I return to work in the Sanford area

Lashanda at the front desk was so nice and helped us to checkin a little early. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was the best one we have had at a hotel in a very long time. Lots of options- fresh baked cinnamon rolls, western omelets, biscuits and gravy. The coffee was good. The breakfast staff and cleaning staff were all so friendly. Great stay!

I was extremely disappointed by the attitude of the desk clerk at check in. I reserved a handicapped room. She was describing the room as not having a walk-in shower. I asked if there was at least a shower seat and her response was “you didn’t ask for one.” Exactly how is a handicapped person in a wheelchair supposed to climb over a tub and stand without help? That is ridiculous.

Everything was great until I extended my stay by one day. At 0600 I re-validated my room with the front desk and had my room keys re-done. I had to work a 12 hour night shift so I went back to bed at 0830. However, my room was not taken off of the checking-out list and at 1200, housekeeping was beating on my door and woke me up. I was unable to go back to sleep after that as I usually get up at 1530 for work. If someone has not left the room when it appears they should have, the FIRST thing housekeeping should do is check with the front desk to see if there was a change. All of the tags indicating to not bother a guest were on the outside of the door. I ended up being awake for more than 24hrs by the time I arrived home as I had a 3 hour drive once I left at 0930. Please do better.

This is a nice clean hotel. Great location for shopping and dining. I would have given it a 5 star rating, but trash collection should not occur at 4:00am. Please arrange a different time for trash collection that does not disturb guests who are most likely sleeping at 4:00am.

The property is under-going renovation which is good. City should be contacted to repair the road leading to the Hotel parking lot. It's full of large pot holes. Breakfast was excellent and nicely overseen by an attendant. A great variety of food and a very clean dining area.

Nice hotel with all types of businesses nearby. My only complaint would be all the loud vehicles. Not the fault of the hotel. And the hotel was quiet but it was noisy when we were outside with our dog. That town needs a muffler shop. I would recommend this hotel. Free cookies.
