Holiday Inn Glasgow - East Kilbride by IHG

Lovely spot hotel is very good value and we will be staying again soon

We stayed as a family of three so we needed the pull out bed. It wasn’t made up when we arrived but it was quickly remedied. However, the mattress on the sofa bed was so thin you couldn’t sleep on it. Parking is plentiful but the car park area is dirty and in need of attention. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful but one in particular was very loud and over familiar.

I booked one room online but the app crashed before I could confirm it so I booked it again. I was told I booked two rooms ??????? I told the receptionist to cancel it ! He told me to go online to cancel it then I went online to do so but it was directed me back to the hotel ?????? What is going on ????????

Staff, amenities and general cleanliness were amazing. Only thing stopping 5 star reviews were some maintenance issues that could be easily sorted, new silicone, loose door hinges etc. Overall a great stay, my partner noticed no issues and was very happy, I would say that I noticed them being in a building trade and that the average customer would not.
