This particular property is undergoing renovations. While I understand that this doesn't happen overnight, I believe they have been going on for quite some time. The room we stayed in during this visit had already been renovated and we had no issues with it. In fact, the room is much nicer since being remodeled. However, there are several large metal storage containers in the front area of the property, adjacent to the parking. They have been there for two years at least!! During this trip, after we pulled into the parking lot, I noticed quite a few pieces of old furniture such as couches and chairs, along with some old mattresses tossed onto the ground in a space between two of the storage containers. It was definitely NOT a good look. I wondered why they weren't either put into the metal containers or removed from the property completely. It really does give the property an overall bad look.

The parking was a bit of a challenge. There's just not many parking places. Otherwise, a clean and spacious room, gracious check in hostess and decent breakfast. Would visit again.

Good breakfast with great flavor and variety. We came in late for the night and there was no parking. Two storage containers taking up about 10 spaces. Front desk person seemed unhappy to be working. She wasn\'t mean, just "meh."

Unfortunately, there’s no hot tubs at this location as pictured due to their new renovations. I had paid extra for this, but since I didn’t take a picture, I couldn’t make a claim when I got home. Otherwise, nice hotel and staff.

The breakfast was ok, needed a microwave nearby though to make it hot. Appreciated the breakfast on the go bag. The room was clean, bathroom clean but in a weird place near the bed making it difficult to use the bathroom without disturbing someone asleep. Parking good, bed comfortable. Pool ok (water kinda cold), no hot tub.

I’ve stayed at other Holiday Inn Express’s . This one is not quite up to the level of others. Room was fine until I saw a big hair ball on the floor, kinda gross. Pool not available. Breakfast was warm, not hot. I will give them a little grace, it appeared they were upgrading/remodeling so they may not have been bringing their “A” game.

This was the worst stay we have ever had. We had to be escorted to our room because of something wrong with the key machine. Only had 1 of 3 hot water tanks operating. Really don’t like taking a cold shower in the winter. When we asked for some kind of compensation the manager step up and threatened to call the cops and have us thrown out. Did not understand why she threatened us.

The room was overwhelmed with a chlorine smell. The carpet was sticky. The tile floor had dirty footprints. The sink didn't drain. Maybe worst of all, was the air conditioning that was so loud it vibrated the bed. We barely slept and left with headaches. Worse hotel experience ever.

Even though the front desk staff were great we were very disappointed. We stayed for 6 nights total and had 2 connecting rooms. Sign on front desk said housekeeping would be in on 3rd day. We called down the morning of the 3rd day to ask if they could exchange our towels when they came in and were told yes. Later that day we found that 2 beds in only 1 of the rooms were made (2 beds in other room were not touched) & all trash had been emptied but the towels were not exchanged. In fact a visibly dirty hand towel that I had put on the floor was hung back up next to a clean one. Front desk gave us clean towels. The next day we ran out of body wash, conditioner and toilet paper. They had not been replaced by housekeeping. Front desk gave us more. Out of the 5 mornings we ate breakfast, the pancake machine was broke 2 days, there wasn't any meat 1 day, entire juice machine was out of order 1 day and there wasn't chocolate milk either that same day. No kid friendly cereal was offered.

Room was clean and comfortable. The A/C was noisy and the TV didn’t have Netflix even though the remote indicated it did, and I couldnt get casting to work but it did have lots of choices via cable. Overall very comfortable and I would definitely stay here again.

The thermostat was broken and stuck at 66, so the room was freezing. The toilet leaked and the tub was clogged, so it filled with water while showering. Also, one section of the wallpaper was bubbling and pulling away from the wall. Overall, very disappointing room that cost over $200 and the front desk didn't offer a discount after complaining.

The hotel is in the process of remodeling so there were materials in the parking lot, but parking was not an issue. Very conveniently located off I-75. Shopping and dining options were very close by and easily accessible. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices. The ladies working the breakfast were friendly and helpful. The room was well maintained and the coffee was fresh. The desk clerks were friendly, helpful and responsive to our requests. Our room had been remodeled and the decor was fresh and appealing.

Had to change rooms because the fan on heating/AC unit rattled very loudly. This room was very nice except for the fan issue, everything was new and had just been renovated. The second room was not as nice, dated furniture and carpet but the building was still under renovations and this room hadn’t been done yet. The morning breakfast was very good; better than most free breakfasts I have had elsewhere. The parking was crammed into half the area they would normally have which made for very tight parking spots. This was due to the equipment of the construction crew taking up the majority of the parking lot. Having said all that it was not a bad place to stay and I would stay there again.

Well, my family was all settled in for the night. My kids were asleep in their beds, my wife was asleep next to me…then a 40 year old man came into our room with a keycard the front desk gave him. My wife was up before me and went off on the guy, his family was luckily right behind him. The front desk double booked our room. He’s lucky I didn’t hear the door because he would have been shot. The guy working the front desk was rude when I calmly called down and described the situation.

Staff complained in front of guests, not very professional. Staff members were able to eat breakfast with guests and when there was little left, he stilled piled his plate leaving little for the remaining guests. Kitchen attendant took too many smoke breaks which allowed a homeless person to come in and take two huge containers of breakfast out of the building. Need security set up.

Issue 1 - Months before check in I received a text saying I had to confirm my credit card via text. Obvious scam. I called the hotel and they blamed Expedia, Expedia blamed the hotel. No harm, but annoying. Issue 2 - Received a call the morning of check in that my card had declined. I explained that that particular card was frozen and I had forgotten. The gentleman said no problem, they can rerun in a little bit as sometimes it takes a minute to unfreeze. He said he would make a note and they would call back if it was still an issue. I received no other call. However, when I arrived at the property the front desk person couldn't find my reservation. My reservation had been cancelled. I explained my conversation with the phone call and she said she wasn't told of this call. Thankfully, my room was still available as it was parents weekend at the college. Overall - The highlight of this property is the free breakfast. Quiet location. Common areas are run down and the rooms are loud. I could hear everything in the room next to me through the connecting door. The amount that charge for 2 nights in a 2 queen room at this location is crazy. I was very disappointed with this property.

The hotel is down the road from Bowling Green College so there are plenty of restaurants and across from a gas station and grocery store. The area is not run down but rather new. Beautiful location.

Property is being refurbished and they are doing a great job, It did not effect our stay. Everything was great until the complimentary breakfast. Pancake machine did not work and employee did not know how to load it, couldn't find syrup, butter or yogurt. The cheese omelets were like cardboard, no fruit. Lets just say it was not anywhere near Holiday Inn standards.

Our room was nice, and the shower was great!! Temperature and pressure was perfect, and shampoo, conditioner and body wash were all really nice! Bed was comfy, and tv had plenty of channels. Only negative was the breakfast was very limited. Scrambled eggs, vegetable omelet and biscuits and gravy. Only protein was the little bit of sausage in the gravy. Otherwise, very nice hotel!
