Quality Inn & Suites Monroeville

The hotel is under construction, the room smells bad. The sheets might not be replaced after the last customer, they have yellow stains and a lot of hairs. Dirt cover desk and coffee machines. The hair dryer is broken and the wires and circuit board expose, very dangerous. I was told when I checked in that the breakfast time is from 6:30 to 9:30 am and there is a sign at the front desk showing the time too, but actually no breakfast at all.

I DIDNT LIKE THE STAIRS I HAD TO TAKE TO GET TO MY ROOM.

NO ELEVATOR AND SUITES ARE ON SECOND FLOOR. Property is decent but construction is going on during the day on improvements to the hotel. Breakfast is not out until 7am if you have to get out early and is very basic. Waffles are good though! Suite was a good size and quite.

First as a female traveling alone it was very concerning that the door to the outside parking lot did not have key card entry. Anyone can enter their back doors unseen and I was placed in a room directly next to this unlocked doorway. There was no fire alarm in my room and the electrical plugs did not have covers which are both OSHA violations. They had mouse traps out everywhere as seen in picture by outside door. I was staying for 2 nights and was only given one towel, hand towel and washcloth for the entire stay. The hand towel had brown stains all over it as seen in picture. No one came to empty trash, change out towels or make bed during my stay. The first morning I went to breakfast which was just a choice of waffle, cereal or yogurt. I grabbed a yogurt and opened while driving into work. The color was more purple than the pink color of strawberry yogurt so I checked date and it had been expired for almost 2 weeks. Front desk clerk was on the phone talking to family during check in and when I went to desk because my key was not working. Both times I felt like she was aggravated I was interrupting her conversation to ask for service.

Basic hotel with good value for the price paid. Facilities are a bit dated and worn; room had a large water stain on the ceiling, and the bathroom sink faucet leaked. Bed was very comfortable and clean. Check-in person was very friendly.

No elevator has to tag luggage upstairs

This property needs a lot of work, the facility is run down, the air wasn’t working properly, no shower curtain in the bathroom, hair from the past guest in the bathroom, toilet was nasty! My highlight was staff members one name was Tiffany and she was a breath of fresh air !

I the staff was Very Nice, accommidating and helpful but the look of the hotel rooms need a lot of upgrades.

Nothing to like. Upon arrival there wasn’t anyone available at the front desk to speak with about checking in. I waited about 5 minutes and someone in housekeeping came to the area and asked have I been helped. She reached out to someone on the phone and told me someone would be there to help me in 5 minutes. After returning back a few hours later to check in there wasn’t anyone at the desk again so after waiting for about 10 minutes I went back to my car and got my phone and called the number listed and a gentleman answered and he showed up at the front desk a few minutes later to assist me with checking in. After checking in he informed me that my room would be on the second floor and I would have to take the stairs. The bathtub needs to be cleaned better and the carpet in the room needs to be taken up or replaced. The hotel rate should be less

The hotel is in the middle of a big remodel. There are boxes and pieces of furniture in the lobby and the breakfast area. Because of all this, no breakfast could be served. Our room was fine and the bed was very comfortable. We had to get help to understand how the tv worked because the remote was pretty much useless. The volume couldn't be changed at all. Also, the shower automatically came on when you turn on the faucet. I got sprayed with cold water. All in all, it just wasn't what we expected.

The breakfast menu was poor, yougurt was outdated. I used spray to clean the waffle iron to make my pancakes thinking it was spray butter. The bedding was poorly cleaned along with the bathrooms

We had a non smoking room and when we checked in our room smelled like cigarettes! And our tv keep messing up, window was cracked and fighting outside! We will not stay at hotel again!

First of all, the entire Inn smelled of old cooked food. Second of all, the room I was in # 119 the beds need replacing. Both beds squeaked all night as we turned over in or sleep. This tells me there hasn't been an inspection recently.

The guy that checked us in was great. Somehow the hotel was under the pet friendly so we booked it. Turns out they weren't pet friendly but they didn't throw us out. Just made us pay an extra $20. While unloading our vehicle last night there were 2 guys doing drugs in the parking lot. Cigarette butts in the stairwell and people smoking pot in their rooms which was stinking up the hallway. We always check the linens before we sleep in them and these were BAD. Lots of stains. We ended up sleeping on the top of the comforter. Woke up this morning and went to make a cup of coffee. We were absolutely floored when we found moldy coffee bags in the water fill area. I took it to the front desk. Bathroom is falling apart and is not cleaned correctly. Light is full of bugs. Fan cover literally falling off. Refrigerator front is rusty and dirty. Inside was clean. Just seems like the owners have ZERO pride in their property. Wash clothe had black hair in it. The bed was not level. The limited breakfast was cereal and waffles with juice and the smallest coffee cup I’ve ever seen. The room had no coffee maker. There was not a person a front desk- there was a ring doorbell.

AC filters were filthy, Smoke detector was disconnected, hair dryer plug was broken and open, vent fan in bathroom did not work. Room keys would not work. Breakfast was as minimal as possible. Would not recommend to anyone.

Property was well maintained and clean. Room was clean and fresh. Not enough towels for guest number on reservation but received extra towels within minutes. All staff were pleasant and courteous. Bathroom needs some plastering attention around shower head and ceiling over tub but otherwise well maintained.

The man at customer service was great. The problem was the room conditions. There was water spots, areas that were miffed and sanded that needed to be painted and in my room remote kept going on and off.

It’s an older property, but it does the job and I had a good nights rest with a good shower and a fridge with tv. What else could you want?

The toilet was not secured properly to the floor… I couldn’t change the channel on the tv the bed frame broke that was a horrible room 118

Also hair dryer was broken, random phone in the bathroom, and no iron. Whoever renovated was very lazy. Didn’t even remove picture frame from wall, just painted around it

The staff was very friendly and accomodating.

I canceled my reservation because of an emergency. Staff rude want refund my money.

I truly enjoy my day when i check in the man at the front desk was so pleasant. He made me feel welcome. My room was very clean i stay in one of the suites. I had no problems. . When i check out the lady was also very pleasant.as well. Yes i will stay there again. I give a five ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

I was here in town for one night for a business trip and the Quality Inn was great for my needs. It was close to where my meeting was going to be and close to a restaurant. For the price and the amount of time I spent at the hotel it was sufficient.

The Property was clean, but a little old. The staff were friendly and willing to help when available. (Only one person at desk) I think the biggest negative was the breakfast. I was there during the so called free hot breakfast between 8:00am-8:30am. The only thing there was some cereal and no milk and a few apples and condiments and juice from machine.

Room was nice. Check in took 15 minutes but polite. Breakfast never seem to materialize either morning by the time I had to leave at 6:45, in spite of assurances 6:15 was latest it would appear. There was coffee every morning. I would stay here again, but I would probably give another hotel a chance if I have a choice.
