Customer service was good. Cleanliness was good in the lobby and room, however the elevator and 3rd floor carpeting were disgusting. Carpet was stained. I’d stay again for mere convenience

If you are considering booking this hotel, DO NOT do it. From the moment we entered this hotel we had issue after issue, some inconvenient (key not working, no waffle batter or milk for our cereal at breakfast), some annoying (marijuana smell pervading lobby and hallways—despite the girl at desk spraying air freshener before her shift change), and some unsafe ( gym in basement full of mold) and downright gross ( bedsheets not clean and full of hair, bugs, etc.,). When we asked for a new set of sheets we were looked at like we were speaking a foreign language. I asked when the room would be cleaned and was told that housekeeping comes every day. I was told to leave the gross sheets and comforter outside of my room because I didn’t want them in the room….10 pm that night they were still there. Our room had not been touched. So much for “housekeeping”. Sadly we were unsurprised by this. We would have changed hotels if possible but we were in a group including kids and the hoopla involved in that would have taken up our first day…but hopefully this review will save some others from suffering the same fate. I cannot imagine that Comfort Inn would want their branding on this dumpster fire…and honestly shame on Expedia for listing them also. We are not picky about a hotel being updated and/or fancy, and this was low priced, but is a modicum of cleanliness too much too ask? Apparently so.

The hotel is definetly ran down all the furniture in the room was scratched and dirty. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty and had stuff written on it. The road leading to the hotel is very bad it has horrible pot holes everywhere and so does the parking lot.

Location was very convenient right off I-96 with close proximity to restaurants & shopping, and staff was extremely helpful and courteous throughout the stay. However the hotel is Quite OLD and the rooms, furniture, bathroom facilities aren't in the greatest condition. There were also some stains on the hallway carpets, and the the room/lobby furniture (which looked like they were from the 80's/90's). I had to request a change of room several times at check-in because there were issues with each one (e.g. Couldn't get into one room because the door latch was stuck, not all rooms had a fridge, In one room the bathroom vent fan cover fell down from the worn fan motor's vibrations). The staff did oblige and eventually I found a room that suited my needs enough for the duration of my stay. The bedroom itself seemed clean, as did the bathroom, but you could tell the shower tub was clearly worn/faded from years of use (Again, more of an age thing). Breakfast area was also very clean and I appreciated that their breakfast options were well stocked with individually wrapped portions for extra safety/hygiene. All in all for the price and location it's not a bad deal, but they could really stand to upgrade/renovate the hotel altogether. It'll do in a pinch, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again. 10/10 for the very helpful staff-though!

My stay here was the worst stay I have had in a long while…I was here for 3 nights and the rooms were never cleaned because house keeping never came; there were roaches in the bathroom including the showers and I did not get any towels replaced until my last night of stay. This is not service.

Front desk employees were welcoming & helpful with information about the area. Felt safe. The riom on the other hand was not cleaned well. I understand the pricing was a good deal for just stay 1 night but still expect basic cleaning. The tub had a slight dirty ring around it. There was urine around the toilet. Hair was on one of the pillows. Only one wash cloth supplied which was unusual. Thank God I pack sanitizer & wipes. If I had to stay for more than a day I would have checked out. I took one for the team. I did not report to the front desk because I was tired from traveling so I made do. Great location for food & entertainment & close to the city.

Front desk staff was very nonchalant and off-putting. Seemed to have an attitude because my key card wasnt programmed correctly as if that was my fault. Hallways were extremely warm. Bathtub was not thoroughly cleaned.

Checked in and switched rooms 3x…each one had mold, no hot water, and rooms that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. I walked out and went to another hotel. Complete waste of money.

Mold on ceiling, mold on shower walls and floor, wallpaper ripping off. Crust on blankets. Stains on chairs. They didn’t even have me registered in the room they gave me when checking in. Left that same evening and had to go find another hotel. Was awful.

OK, so for starters I paid for a room that had a Jacuzzi tub I get to the hotel. They tell me that room is not clean and will not be available until someone can come in the next day and clean so we said OK so he ended up giving us the most basic room but never gave me any discount or anything and then me and my girl get to the room and the lock is completely busted off the door and the door open completely from the outside, so the lock didn’t help and the chain latch was busted off there was also no bathroom door at all in the room my girl was so scared. She had me put stuff in front of the door just so she could sleep. I found that so crazy that my girl had to deal with that. I told the guy that was working about it. He said that there was nothing that he could do at that time because he was the only one there and they were full. There was no other room he could put us in and he couldn’t give us our money back. So we stayed in the room, uncomfortable and dreading the whole night.

This hotel is in need of a complete makeover/remodeling/refresh. After the desk person was unsuccessful at making keys that functioned in 2 rooms we were upgraded to a 3rd room but upon leaving that room for any reason had to raise the inside door bar in order for it to lock. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Air conditioning didn’t work, our room was at least 77 degrees with the AC on full blast. One of the worse hotels we’ve ever stayed at, even worse than European hostels.

Air conditioning didn’t work, our room was at least 77 degrees with the AC on full blast. One of the worse hotels we’ve ever stayed at, even worse than European hostels.

My stay was fine for what it is. But the carpet in my room was wet. The jets in the tub didn't work, the tub itself was questionable. The remote to the tv had tape on the back so when it fell off the bed, I had to search for the batteries. The tv turned off every 2 hours. But you get what you paid for.

Staff checking in was WONDERFUL. However, our toilet overflowed around 7:45 in the morning and by check out at 10a we never saw maintenance to fix it. When I asked for towels, to assist with the toilet water, I was told they had none to offer. Aside from that, it served it's purpose

OK, so for starters I paid for a room that had a Jacuzzi tub I get to the hotel. They tell me that room is not clean and will not be available until someone can come in the next day and clean so we said OK so he ended up giving us the most basic room but never gave me any discount or anything and then me and my girl get to the room and the lock is completely busted off the door and the door open completely from the outside, so the lock didn’t help and the chain latch was busted off there was also no bathroom door at all in the room my girl was so scared. She had me put stuff in front of the door just so she could sleep. I found that so crazy that my girl had to deal with that. I told the guy that was working about it. He said that there was nothing that he could do at that time because he was the only one there and they were full. There was no other room he could put us in and he couldn’t give us our money back. So we stayed in the room, uncomfortable and dreading the whole night.

Claiming they no longer accept Expedia reservations, they made me pay a second time. Then they failed to verify this blunder with Expedia customer service, so I ended up paying twice. The room was overpriced to begin with. DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS!

For a hotel that inexpensive, one should not expect good service . Everyone was nice . I just wish the breakfast room was open when I needed a plastic plate to warm my food that I bought nearby ALDI. The carpet was stained but didn’t smell. Very convenient for business trips location wise . One road all the way from the airport.

Location was very convenient right off I-96 with close proximity to restaurants & shopping, and staff was extremely helpful and courteous throughout the stay. However the hotel is Quite OLD and the rooms, furniture, bathroom facilities aren't in the greatest condition. There were also some stains on the hallway carpets, and the the room/lobby furniture (which looked like they were from the 80's/90's). I had to request a change of room several times at check-in because there were issues with each one (e.g. Couldn't get into one room because the door latch was stuck, not all rooms had a fridge, In one room the bathroom vent fan cover fell down from the worn fan motor's vibrations). The staff did oblige and eventually I found a room that suited my needs enough for the duration of my stay. The bedroom itself seemed clean, as did the bathroom, but you could tell the shower tub was clearly worn/faded from years of use (Again, more of an age thing). Breakfast area was also very clean and I appreciated that their breakfast options were well stocked with individually wrapped portions for extra safety/hygiene. All in all for the price and location it's not a bad deal, but they could really stand to upgrade/renovate the hotel altogether. It'll do in a pinch, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again. 10/10 for the very helpful staff-though!

Not a great experience! First, room i reserved was given away and i got a handicap room. Second, no towels at all in the bathroom. Third, the coffee maker was broken ( power switch was completely missing, how does that go un-noticed?!) Plus side bedding looked and smelled clean. My suggestion is to spend a little more money and stay somewhere else. I myself will not be returning.

The property itself is of poor to average cleanliness. The condition of the property is poor, so many things to fix and update. Upon arriving, the tv in my room did not work (I was told this was a problem in other rooms also), but they did send maintenance to fix it. Later, when I was trying to take a shower, the spout flew off. I was originally told there were no open rooms to switch to, but when the maintenance and cleaning guy messaged his supervisor of what happened, they were able to switch my room. The room had burnt out bulbs and the door key did not always work, making me have to go get it rekeyed (as I was waiting for mine, another guest had the same problem). Breakfast on Saturday morning was well stocked, but when I went down on Sunday morning at 9am, almost nothing was left, not even coffee. I told the front desk about it and was told "ok, I'll let them know when I see them." There were several employees walking around the office and kitchen area, but no one replenished anything. I was told the hotel is getting new owners and there is a consideration to tear it down. I think at this point they should just do that. I will say the staff at the property the night I arrived tried to accommodate me as best they could.

The property seemed to be in a safe area. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The jetted tub was kind of weird. It was in the bedroom with shower curtains on both sides. The toilet was in a tiny closet type room. Upon entering the lobby, there was a distinct smell of cannabis. Also, the hotel was not at all quiet. There were people walking the halls yelling and slamming doors at all hours of the night. I probably would not stay at this establishment again. I will pay them extra money for a room in a hotel that has a higher rating.

The location was very good. Three nice restaurants in walking distance. Nice safe area. TV was big and very nice picture. Morning continental breakfast was nice. 24 coffee machine very nice. Staff was excellent. Ray the deck manager was super nice and made you feel very welcome. The gym was also good.
