Fantastic night at this recently refurbished hotel, slight worry about noise on arrival as all guests rooms are above a busy bar but soundproofing was first rate and not a sound could be heard in the rooms. Staff friendly and welcoming. Would recommend if ever in the area, im sure we will be back!

Hyggelig kro ophold, med fin pub med lokal stemning.. Maden var som man kunne forvente på en pub., fine værelse godt til prisen

Comfortable bed and reasonable room size. Breakfast was particular good. I have stayed at several hotels in the vicinity which I feel offer better amenities and value.

Hotel is fine , Food ok at night , starter was mushrooms which were just about warm enough not to moan , main course fine . Wainwrights ale was ok but hadn’t settled or was going off. Breakfast was supposedly 8am which is a ridiculous time for working people , saw chef outside when he was going to open and asked was there any cold items to eat as if it opens at 8 am then you aren’t getting hot food till later , his reply was I am waiting for owner . The cherry on the cake was on arrival and walking past the beer garden we were greeted by a piss head who had been drinking a few hours by the words “How is your bum for spots” very original . I will add we are both engineers who like a drink and a laugh . In short room fine , not much else to recommend.
