ARK Hôtel Paris Boulogne

I chose this pretty new hotel, because it’s just 30 min. by walk to Roland Garros. The room was very clean, plenty of choices of restaurants and bakeries and Cafes. A little bit loud from the streets, but it’s fine.

I stayed here to be able to walk to Roland Garros for the French Open. It was a perfect location. Room was large with everything I needed for my stay. I did the breakfast - typical French fare - fresh and tasty. I might have been the only American staying there. After tennis I sat in the terrace and had a glass of wine while some young Frenchmen played pétanque. Got an uber very quickly to head to the train station. I would stay again.

Staff is helpful and accomodatimg

Very clean, but poor overall: TV stops working every 2-4 mins, coffee and tea not refilled during the stay.. Most importantly : i've been disturbed by the staff member at midnight, while I was sleeping, he entered my room without knocking (he supposedly scratched the door) apparently because of a water leakage somewhere. I can understand urgent matters, but you must knock before entering an occupied room. Lucky I wasn't a woman, it could have been a very bad experience. I had no commercial gesture at all to compensate. despite great cleanliness, i won't be back here for sure.
