We had a lovely stay at the Castle Inn, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was a shame the bar and restaurant was closed that evening (we didn't notice the winter hours!) but the breakfast was great and it looks like a good pub to visit so we will be back.

Stayed at this B&B for a couple of nights as we were attending a wedding. Nice property with attached bar/restaurant which is a useful as really not much else in Knucklas. Food and breakfast were decent, and owner/staff helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at the Castle Inn, the room was clean and spacious with everything you could need. Ying took spectacular care of us, from her very friendly welcome, chatting with us, to her delicious cooking. We had an evening meal plus breakfast and it was all fantastic, and in lovely surroundings - the bar and dining area is full of character. And of course, the Inn itself is surrounded by stunning countryside.

We stayed here on the way back from the right. Communication from the owner was fantastic, and the room was wonderful. Clean, warm and with very comfortable beds. Breakfast the following morning was just the ticket! Good choice of food and great quality. I would definitely recommend and will definitely return

A satisfactory inn for one night. Room was clean and comfortable enough. You had to climb steps to get there and the steps were outside. I’m afraid there wasn’t the warmth that we felt from other places especially from the owner. The breakfast was average at best. Old fruit. Dinner was good.

The four hundred year old part of the property has been retained with suitable furnishings, our room was very clean, tidy & comfortable. The hosts are very friendly & helpful, the homemade food is of the highest quality, with very generous portions. We can now understand why the Castle Inn is so popular.

we stayed for two nights and could not fault it,not over fancy but very nice,spotlessly clean, very comfy in a lovely quiet location, very friendly owner and staff, the food is absolutely delicious, cooked by the owner there is a range of authentic Thai dishes and English dishes, with pies that must be tried, wish we could of had longer to try more. dog friendly which is a bonus with a good outside area, close to some beautiful scenery, would definitely stay there again, at the least stop for a meal if we were passing that way.

We arrived to a warm welcome and quickly shown to our room. Tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable with ample towels and decent sized tea cups. We had an evening meal that was well portioned, reasonably priced, wonderfully cooked and served with a smile and breakfast in the morning was an equal delight. Having found this jewel we are planning another but longer visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the Castle Inn, the room was clean and spacious with everything you could need. Ying took spectacular care of us, from her very friendly welcome, chatting with us, to her delicious cooking. We had an evening meal plus breakfast and it was all fantastic, and in lovely surroundings - the bar and dining area is full of character. And of course, the Inn itself is surrounded by stunning countryside.

we stayed for two nights and could not fault it,not over fancy but very nice,spotlessly clean, very comfy in a lovely quiet location, very friendly owner and staff, the food is absolutely delicious, cooked by the owner there is a range of authentic Thai dishes and English dishes, with pies that must be tried, wish we could of had longer to try more. dog friendly which is a bonus with a good outside area, close to some beautiful scenery, would definitely stay there again, at the least stop for a meal if we were passing that way.

Every part of our stay was superb.Easy to find and park.Room was modern with usb ports and modern bathroom.View to hills was great.Dining there was exceptional and highly recommended. A short drive to Ludlow -so an ideal spot to check out the local beauty spots and travel

A satisfactory inn for one night. Room was clean and comfortable enough. You had to climb steps to get there and the steps were outside. I’m afraid there wasn’t the warmth that we felt from other places especially from the owner. The breakfast was average at best. Old fruit. Dinner was good.

The four hundred year old part of the property has been retained with suitable furnishings, our room was very clean, tidy & comfortable. The hosts are very friendly & helpful, the homemade food is of the highest quality, with very generous portions. We can now understand why the Castle Inn is so popular.

We arrived to a warm welcome and quickly shown to our room. Tastefully decorated, warm and comfortable with ample towels and decent sized tea cups. We had an evening meal that was well portioned, reasonably priced, wonderfully cooked and served with a smile and breakfast in the morning was an equal delight. Having found this jewel we are planning another but longer visit.

Accommodation was spotless clean. Owner's and staff very helpful and welcoming. Food excellent with a great choice. The whole stay was perfect and value for money. Would definitely book again if travelling in the area.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming,food was lovely all freshly cooked,great bar,breakfast was great nice cooked breakfast and pastry,it came recommended to me and will definitely be returning for my next motor bike trip in wales

All but one room are up a set of steel stairs which are outside & therefor open to the elements. When wet, these steps could be slippery. These rooms are not very good for the elderly. Carpark is a long way from entrance to the rooms. Sound proofing between rooms could be better. We found the beds too soft. Bathroom mirror too small. Wash basin HW did not stay hot for long. Bathroom light switch by exit door & only one light in the bathroom so every time one went into it at night, the extractor fan came on. Staff great. Cooking standards very good & tasty. They specialise in Taiwanese meals. Bar drinks are a reasonable price. Bar not open to the public. Restaurant open to public on Friday & Saturday.
