The hot water did not work for the shower or sink. We later were told that they were working on the hot water system. AC seemed to partially work but did not cool the room. Unit was set to 60*F and maintained temp of 74*F in the room all night. Also, the pool and hot tube were very cloudy and didn’t seem overly sanitary besides the unbelievable amount of chlorine smell.

The rooms were decent and clean but old. Showers did not work properly, towels were worn out however the property needed attention in a lot of areas. TV did not work (was able to change my room on the 2nd night). Hot tub was dirty and same temperature as the pool. Doors in many areas would not shut properly, literally had to force the entry door shut. I was here for the Indy 500 and will look elsewhere for the Brickyard and Indy next year.

The first night we heard screaming running up-and-down the hall's only to find out the next morning that there was a pool party from ten pm till 4 am. There was trash all over the hotel from that chicken.Bones towels in the breakfast area was a mess and unsanitary to eat in. The TV remote didn't work.The air conditioner sparked when turned on. When I made a complaint the next door about it. I was told there was nothing they could.Do because the pool party was booked by corporate and there was gonna be another one tonight and the same thing happened. Being disturbed both evenings till 3 and 4 o'clock in the morning when we have full days ahead of us and not being reimbursed anything or yet, just given the stay for free. Put this at the lowest of any hotel I've ever stayed at. Travelodge should contact me and offer me a full refund since this day was terrible in every sense.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I took a large group of students here for National FFA Convention and we had 7 rooms for 4 nights. Every single hotel room was disgusting - sheets and towels stained yellow and black, ceilings crumbling from past water damage, rusted and broken showers, hair and dirt all over the floors and walls. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and this hands-down was the worst. They also claim to have a "hot continental breakfast"- it consisted of 1 broken 2 slice toaster, 1 broken waffle iron, and 1 broken juice machine... needless to say we got food elsewhere. We DID NOT swim in the pool or hot tub because they were also disgusting.

Under renovation. A lot of stuff stored in breakfast area. No towels at pool. Toilet seat broken in room. Check in was very slow due to only 1 person working desk.

The property was not well taken care of. The television did not work. None of the appliances in the room were old, not plugged in, or being used. The towels and shower curtains had stains on them. Maid service was not done daily. There were parties in the middle of the hotel next to the pool going on every night until 6 am. People from the party were hanging out for breakfast and in the lobby past 7 am. The pool hours were posted as 3 pm to 7 pm daily. I wish I had stayed somewhere else.

We complained again, and told them we were leaving as we didn’t feel safe. They sent two men to our room and knocked aggressively until someone opened the door. When we tried to tell them everything they walked off. We left immediately and still have not heard from the hotel about any of our refund.

I like the lake in the back. The patio with the gazebo. I think the bar should stay open longer

We checked in around 3:50 was told about the breakfast in the morning it was cereal no milk bagels were old no cream cheese or jams wanted to take the kids swimming in the morning and the pool was not open again until 3pm well after check out never have I been to a hotel where my children couldn’t go swimming in the morning and the pool closed early on the night we stayed we were highly disappointed

Stay away from this hotel. Property is nothing like the pictures shown. My first room had wet, broken ceiling tiles in the tub with an exposed ceiling above. The 2nd room had long hair and stains on sheets, broken toilet seat, long hair on bathroom floor, and bugs in the toilet.

There was mold and mouse droppings on the floor. The sheets were stained. They did not offer a refund of any type. Very disappointed.

I recently stayed at your hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far below acceptable standards. Upon entering the room, I immediately noticed that the floors were visibly dirty—clearly not cleaned properly between guests. The bathroom was in a particularly unhygienic condition: there was urine left on the toilet seat and no toilet paper on the roller, which is simply inexcusable. The bed was another issue—it creaked loudly with every movement, and overall felt uncomfortable and unclean, making it nearly impossible to get any rest. I honestly felt uneasy and gross staying in the room, and it did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness and comfort. Given the condition of the room and the lack of basic hygiene, I do not believe this stay reflects the value I paid for, and I am requesting a refund. I hope this can be resolved promptly.

Don’t look at the pictures. We got catfished. Please read this. Floors were sticky, room smelled like wet dog. Every surface had some kind film all over them. Brown stains on the wall. What looked like cat hair all over the bedding. Curtains had a spot of what looked like blood. Ants were all over the hallways leading to the room's. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since 2012. Water damage in the walls. Tub barely drained. The Mirror looked more like a Picasso painting. Toilet was gross. I wish we would’ve looked at the reviews before booking. The front desk was very nice. But that hotel is disappointing. Currently trying to get my money back. We ended up staying at a very nice comfort inn right down the road for less money. 10/10 do not recommend even looking at this regardless of budget. I’d rather sleep in my car and shower at a loves then sleep here.

By far the dirtiest hotel I've ever been too. It was filthy! I checked in at 3:00pm, went to my room and was checked out by 5:00pm. I drove almost 3 hours to get to this destination, spent 2 hours there, without sitting on any furniture or trying not to touch anything and then drove the almost 3 hours home. Could not wait to get home and into a clean shower because I felt disgusting. At this moment, I still have not received ant type of refund on my card like I was promised, but we shall see, (not holding my breath). Garbage laying around in the hallways, windows looked as if they haven't been cleaned in ages, mold in toilet and bathtub and I could go on and on. Do youyrself

The room was unsanitary. The remote control was covered in a sticky substance, the bed sheets and towels were stained. The shower was dirty, littered with hair and grime and the toiletries were partially used.

I walked in. Hotel smelled of weed. Walked into the room and there were bed bugs on the pillows and the entertainment center pushed out into the middle of room.

The place needs maintenance in every level. Very poor workmanship in everything. Doors don't close or open properly. Nothing works right on the plumbing department. The paint and the caulking on the walls is terrible. The bathtubs are peeling off. Phone did not work. Windows were disgusting filthy. Etc. Etc. Etc.

The exterior and lobby areas were fine. The man at the front desk was very nice. Our room appeared clean, but the mattress was just disgusting with big stains that were either blood or feces. My daughters and I ended up sleeping on top of the (stained) covers. We only had two scratchy towels, and there were no wash clothes in the room. The TV did not work. I am not a fussy person, but this was the worst hotel room that I've ever stayed in.

Couldn't take a shower, the faucet was broken. Stairwell to the 2nd floor was very dark, then there are 2 doors, pick one, neither one was marked. No waste baskets. No coffee filter basket to make coffee. Loud party in the pool area till after midnight. Little hand prints on the mirror. Squeaky spring mattress's. "Manager" outright lied to us, said they were sold out. The parking lot wasn't even half full. I'll sleep in my Tahoe before I'll ever give them any of my hard earned money again. I knew it was a 2 star hotel, but I just wanted to go to sleep, take a shower in the morning and leave. None of which happened, except leaving. Oh, and lets not forget the free breakfast! Your choice of 3 cereals and toast!

It felt like I was being filmed and my goal was to find everything wrong with the room I was given. This hotel is the model of how a business should not be run. Let me write you a list of things that were wrong with the room I was first given. Cigarette burns in my blanket Mold / stains all over my lamp shade Stains on the bathroom towels Telephone didn’t work in the room No remote for the TV Trash on the floor in the hallway Strange Purple stains on my blanket Orange liquid in the fridge HAIR ALL OVER THE SHEETS!!!! Once I received a new room the receptionist who was the most helpful mopped the floor because the cleaning room was nowhere to be found. At one point a fight happened in the hallway between a man and a woman. After 20 minutes I tried to use the phone in my new room which didn’t work to call for help. I advise no one to stay here.

No one at front desk when I arrived and it took about 10 minutes for them to get there. As soon as we started, the process of check-in, another guest warned me that I should think twice about checking in due to the problems they were having. Elevator is on the far end of the building and The rooms were not numbered in consecutive order. 245 247 248 249 246. Room is clean and comfortable otherwise. TV does not have a signal but Internet connection gives me something to watch.

I reserved a room with a king bed and a lake view they did not have one and i had to settle for two queens. The floor was sticky,the window qas fogged (moisture in between the two panes) so i could bot see the lake and the louvers for the air conditioner was missing. There also was trash in the parking lot

Things were too bad, the door to the room was very difficult to open, but I managed. This lamp was missing one side of the bed (the side I usually sleep on). The exhaust fan in the bathroom was connected to the main light and every time it came on it was very loud. Then this morning when I went to take a shower the knob to turn the water on didn't work, even after "I" tighten the screw on it. So NO shower for me this morning. I know the building is old but I think the maintenance people need to be checking things out better.

I had a paid reservation for a suite for 4 nights. When I arrived, they notified me that they had "overbooked" and needed to downgrade me to a single. The room was very humid even with the AC running and noisy. There were even empty beer cans that had not been cleaned out. Amazingly, they did not offer any sort of refund. It was nice that they offered a breakfast bar (7-9 am). It was staffed by a very surely woman who did a little less than the bare minimum. There was always something important missing-- forks, waffle batter, milk, coffee. Weirdly, they kept the syrup in a red ketchup bottle. The milk was watered down, and the hardboiled eggs were sad little soggy things in a bowl of dirty water.

Outdated Motel Vibe. Basic breakfast. Front desk staff didn't care they overbooked rooms & told us they couldn't accommodate. In for the races and book 6 months prior, but they didn't care. Breakfast was minimal & a mess. Basic accommodations. BED HARD AS A ROCK!

I think his name was Faizul, he was very helpful. We came down late for breakfast but he was generous enough, he opened the kitchen and let us still have breakfast

The staff was friendly and helpful. The check in and out process was quick and easy. There was a small fridge and microwave that came in handy. There were a couple things that couldve used repairs, but they didnt take away from the functionality. Overall it was what we expected. If we were in that area again i would consider staying at this place.

I reserved a room at this hotel almost a year prior to my arrival and received a proper confirmation of the booking. Five days prior to my arrival, I called the hotel to confirm the details of my upcoming visit. During our call they said they were completely booked, but when I gave them my name and reservation confirmation, they said my reservation was all set. When I then arrived to the hotel for my trip, they simply said they were sorry and didn’t have any rooms available, despite my reservation. Based on the way they apologized and said that they didn’t know what happened in their system or how they possibly gave our room away, it appeared they felt that was sufficient. I needed to ask why no one from the hotel felt the need to call me before I arrived at their property to notify me. I pointed out that the reminder email I received 4 days prior stated that IF I needed to cancel my reservation, that I had until the day before my arrival for free cancellation, so they knew I would be paying for my room whether or not I showed up, since I had not cancelled the reservation. After all of that, the hotel also didn’t understand that a proper solution would be to try to help me, their expected guest, whose room they simply gave away. (They shared with me that they had about 10 other guests with reservations that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate either. This was not helping the matter.) I then asked if they could call any nearby hotels to help find a place for me to stay.

There was an issue with check in and my daughter was charged an incorrect rate. When this was brought to the front desk check in person’s attention, he became rude, declaring he couldn’t fix it, raised his voice, actually yelled at us, and refused to do anything to assist with this. This was one of the WORST EXPERIENCES I’ve ever had. This man is in the business of customer service and he was completely out of line. We stay in roughly 15 to 20 hotels a year and we will NEVER stay here again. The rooms are out dated with rust in the sink, mold in the showers, drywall all over the bed in my daughters room, dirty stained sheets in another daughters room and two towels in our rooms with 4 adults. We booked 5 rooms at this place and between the complete lack of customer service and the condition of the rooms, it was a HUGE disappointment in our trip! Never again Travel lodge. Also, when I booked these rooms it was under a Ramada logo which are usually decent rooms but apparently when travel lodge took over three weeks ago, everything went down hill!

Staff was Very friendly, clean pool area, our room & toiletries was clean & stocked (even had to get extra’s & no problem in doing so), air conditioner, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, t.v., lights, and shower (hot water- didn’t run out-and water pressure was great) all worked well. Easy check-in & check-out. I will use again if in the area. Thank you for good service

The only complaints i have are minor. The breakfast was very small and not well stocked. I didn't appreciate housekeeping arguing about of i had my room for another night or not. That being said, the ladies at the front desk last night were very sweet and understanding when i realized i booked for today and not yesterday like i was trying to. I've been to this hotel since i was small and my family would come to town and visit. So I've seen it go through several names and changes. I hope they continue to grow and make it as special as it once was when i was a little girl. The price wasn't terrible either. The rooms look great as well.

Would never ever stay here again. Dirty, smelled like weed everywhere, not safe, parking lot was disgusting, pool was so packed no one else would fit, language barrier with staff and people were letting large groups in side doors that weren’t guests.

No cribs or pack n play for toddler/baby to sleep in. Many of the clientele was extremely sketchy. Couldn’t get out fast enough in the morning.

This place was probably pretty cool when it was first built, but do not be deceived by the pictures. The whole facility was dirty. The room had cranberries stuck on the floor, so they obviously didn't vacuum or mop. There was hair and crud in the shower and around the toilet. The carpet in the hallways was dirty. The free breakfast was stale cereal. There were no towels at the pool and we were given 2 towels for 3 people for a 5 night stay and ended up having to ask for more because they never came to the room to collect towels or trash. The furniture was not clean. My toddler spilled some yogurt on a chair and I got a wash cloth to clean the chair and it looked like I had rubbed it across the parking lot it was so dirty. The area around the hotel is sketchy looking as the landscaping is unkept, there is trash all along the road, and there is a couple of broken down vehicles with the glass busted out in the parking lot. There was a constant odor of marijuana inside and outside. The entire property needs updating, the paint is bad, the carpet is bad, the drywall is bad, the tile is bad, our sink was cracked, the toilet was worn, etc. etc. I would not recommend staying here. You get what you pay for, and I didn't expect it to be the best hotel ever, but I did at least expect it to be clean.

Stayed for race weekend. Hotel is aging and updates are surface level/cosmetic. All in all the stay wasn’t awful. Proximity to the track was the best feature. “Breakfast” was cereal and room temperature milk. I had to clean all room surfaces with wipes, def was not clean, visible dirt on counters/desk/nightstands. Couch had an ill fitting Amazon quality slip cover on it. Never saw a single house cleaning staff member over the course of our 4 days.

Lots of parking, area is quiet and private. Seems a bit dated but is clean and safe. The rooms have marble/hard floors which I wasn't expecting but were clean. There weren't comforters on the beds, but we didn't ask if there were any available and the temperature was comfortable. Seems like new managment has taken over but not made many improvements, the restaurant/bar was staffed with one front of house employee who was running ragged and dealing with lack of supplies and having technical issues. She was wonderful but was having to manage a lot to get us our food. Price for stay and location were decent, so wouldn't mind staying again.

I travel a lot and don't have high standards, but this hotel was gross and I didn't feel safe. Hallways smelled of smoke and food. Sheets at shoe prints on them. We got blankets from car and put on top of bed. Lock on door was flimsy. Entire front of ac/heat unit was off. One first floor window in a room where they were storing extra stuff was left wide open.

Stuck door, Bad mattress, Weird smell, Decorations still on the ceiling, Room number was a taped piece of paper, Suspicious person driving around the parking lot, Hallway in general disrepair, The pictures on line looked nothing like the reality.

well, I brought my niece there just so she could swim. We went to the restaurant to eat first. We sat there for an hour and a half waiting for our appetizer and then another 30 minutes went by. We hadn’t got our food yet so we went to the pool to hang out an hour later one of our meals game. They were supposed to bring the other one to us. they did not so it was a total of three hours or more before we got our food a total of all the food together, which I didn’t want to eat my meal in front of my niece so mine got cold and I had to warm it up in the microwave in the room.
