The outdoor area is a peaceful oasis where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and stunning views. The area offers many different activities such as cross-country skiing, alpine skiing and hiking. The nearest ski slope is just 8 minutes away, and there are several interesting museums along the artist's valley, such as Kittelsen's home and Skredsvig museum. There are also accommodation options in the Norwegian Tourist Association's cabins. a 4-wheel drive or chain on the car is essential to get up the last part to the cabin in winter, and be aware that it is 50 meters from the parking lot down to the cabin. Animals are allowed by appointment. Ski in/ski out: Cross-country ski trail 200 meters outside the cabin. Ski resorts nearby: 8 minutes to Haglebu Ski Center, 37 minutes to Norefjell Ski & Spa Resort, 29 minutes to Tempelseter Ski Center.
