The hotel was simply beautiful! The location is perfect with easy access down to the sand, the restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed drinks out on the terrace bar to watch the sunset. The service was impeccable from check in to check out. We hope to visit again one day! Highly recommend staying at Bucca de Bacco for your trip to the Amalfi coast!

Highly recommended. Service is top notch. Facility is nice. Breakfast was really good. Area is great. Note, that the hotel has no access to road and is down at the beach level, so prepare to walk up and down. If you come by car, the closest parking is 5-7 minutes walk up the hill. And the cost is higher than shown at the description, more like 45-50 euro a day… that was the only disappointment for us.

We have been to Positano a few times and every time we have stayed at Buca Di Bacco. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are lovely. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Everything is clean. The hotel staff is always welcoming and kind, ready to help with anything. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay is a highlight. And the Buca Di Bacco restaurant has delicious food - we are in love with the pasta with lemon sauce! All the waiters were fun and hospitable. The close proximity to the beach is another highlight. We loved that we didn’t have to climb the steep streets to get back to our hotel after our days out on the beach, and on boat excursions. A lovely place to spend a few summer days.

The staff at front desk especially Mario was excellent and the staff at breakfast like Roberto, Catello, Amadou and Marina were very attentive to our needs. The only annoying thing is that my daughter found a pubic hair weaved into the threads of one of the face towels which had just been put in the bathroom by the cleaners. I took this up with the Manager but he was not very helpful. He said certain things he should not have said and I think he thought I planted the pubic hair there and was trying to get some money off!

We absolutely loved our stay at Buca Di Bacco! Very easy access to everywhere in Positano. Very close to the main beach and ferry’s so not much walking and no climbing a lot of stairs! The service was amazing and all staff were very friendly and welcoming. They all spoke great English, which was a plus for my wife and I. They made our stay very pleasant. The continental breakfast was so delicious and Castello was such a nice man and very generous. Our room was very clean and every time we returned back to our room after a long day, the staff had came inside and cleaned up and made our bed. I would 100% stay at Buca Di Bacco again. I can’t wait for our next visit!

This is a rare gem located in the heart of Positano. This is one of the most beautiful views I have seen in the world, right outside of our hotel room terrace. The room comes with free breakfast, where you will be greeted by wonderful service. Each morning, Martina, Giovanni, and Giuseppe took wonderful care of us, just like we were family. They were fantastic! It is hard to find such good service as we did each morning at breakfast, and at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant staff were anlso welcoming anbd incredible. I highly recommend eating in Hotel Buca di Bacco restaurant. It was the most authentic and best food by far in Positano. The reception staff was also wonderful, and willing to help with what you need. You will not be able to check in until 3pm as this is a busy hotel. They will call a porter and taxi when you need one. The hotel is very clean, and the cleaning staff was amazing. There were days they came in and cleaned the hotel room twice. Thank you for a fantastic stay here. I would definitely book this hotel again when I come back to Positano. It was a fantastic experience.

The hotel location was amazing for the beach and very easy to get to the ferry and back for day trips. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Don’t hesitate to ask them for recommendations or advice! The hotel was clean and the rooms spacious.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service provided, particularly by Maria and Mario, who were responsible for arranging our transportation. Despite forwarding the exact email they originally sent me, they claimed I entered the wrong address—which was simply not possible. I made it clear that I was traveling with three children, including one with special needs, and requested transportation well in advance. Yet when we arrived, stranded at the airport, there was no support or effort made to resolve the situation. We had booked three rooms, all of which were heavily infested with ants—completely unacceptable. Beyond handing over keys, there was little to no hospitality or assistance throughout our stay. If you’re only looking for a place to sleep and expect nothing more, this location may suffice. But if you value service, reliability, or basic cleanliness, I would look elsewhere.

The staff are friendly and the restaurant at the hotel is fantastic. The room was clean with 2 options for pillows. However, the AC didn’t work properly. There is no vent unless you decide to leave the windows open, the air becomes SO muggy and unpleasant in the rooms. The breakfast was only OK.

When I first arrived at this property I was worried about my luggage being transported to the location without me being with it, but then I realized how safe we really were. Positano lives off the tourism, our driver, along with the property manager, assured me they arrive fine, and they sure did. We were accommodated in a gorgeous Suite overlooking the Spiaggia Grande. It couldn't have been more beautiful and romantic.

This hotel is great as it is right on the beach. The restaurant in excellent and the service is very good. The rooms are average, but nice. Our room was positioned on the alleyway leading to the beach and was VERY noisy. Noisy all night long, did not quiet down until 5am or so. Not great for light sleepers.

Perfectly located beautiful hotel in one of the most picturesque places I’ve ever stayed. We had a junior suite for family of four and it was perfect for us, good size with the most amazing view overlooking the beach and also the cliffs around us. Breakfast was lovely, sat on a terrace above the beach overlooking everything, the most perfect setting. All staff are super friendly I can’t recommend this place highly enough. We will definitely be back at some time.

Beautiful hotel, incredible location, and wonderful staff! We spent a full week in Room 58, located on the top floor at the end of the building—offering breathtaking views of the mountains, beach, and port. We flew into Naples from the U.S. and hired a private driver to bring us to the hotel. Note that cars cannot access the property directly, so we rolled our luggage a short distance down charming cobblestone streets—unexpected, but part of the Positano experience! Arriving early in the morning, we were greeted with a gorgeous breakfast overlooking the beach, and the kind staff even had our room ready by 1 p.m., well before standard check-in. The breakfast buffet each morning on the patio became one of our favorite parts of the stay. The location could not be better—steps from the beach, ferry dock, boutique shopping, and endless people-watching. A perfect spot to experience the magic of Positano!

I’m extremely disappointed with the service provided, particularly by Maria and Mario, who were responsible for arranging our transportation. Despite forwarding the exact email they originally sent me, they claimed I entered the wrong address—which was simply not possible. I made it clear that I was traveling with three children, including one with special needs, and requested transportation well in advance. Yet when we arrived, stranded at the airport, there was no support or effort made to resolve the situation. We had booked three rooms, all of which were heavily infested with ants—completely unacceptable. Beyond handing over keys, there was little to no hospitality or assistance throughout our stay. If you’re only looking for a place to sleep and expect nothing more, this location may suffice. But if you value service, reliability, or basic cleanliness, I would look elsewhere.

Highly recommended. Service is top notch. Facility is nice. Breakfast was really good. Area is great. Note, that the hotel has no access to road and is down at the beach level, so prepare to walk up and down. If you come by car, the closest parking is 5-7 minutes walk up the hill. And the cost is higher than shown at the description, more like 45-50 euro a day… that was the only disappointment for us.

The hotel location is so convenient. It’s right by the main beach and the marina that access to the ferry is a breeze. It’s right next two Chez Black and La Pergola and the church. The staff were so friendly and genuinely helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend anyone staying in Positano to consider it.

Beautiful hotel, incredible location, and wonderful staff! We spent a full week in Room 58, located on the top floor at the end of the building—offering breathtaking views of the mountains, beach, and port. We flew into Naples from the U.S. and hired a private driver to bring us to the hotel. Note that cars cannot access the property directly, so we rolled our luggage a short distance down charming cobblestone streets—unexpected, but part of the Positano experience! Arriving early in the morning, we were greeted with a gorgeous breakfast overlooking the beach, and the kind staff even had our room ready by 1 p.m., well before standard check-in. The breakfast buffet each morning on the patio became one of our favorite parts of the stay. The location could not be better—steps from the beach, ferry dock, boutique shopping, and endless people-watching. A perfect spot to experience the magic of Positano!

We have been to Positano a few times and every time we have stayed at Buca Di Bacco. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are lovely. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. Everything is clean. The hotel staff is always welcoming and kind, ready to help with anything. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the bay is a highlight. And the Buca Di Bacco restaurant has delicious food - we are in love with the pasta with lemon sauce! All the waiters were fun and hospitable. The close proximity to the beach is another highlight. We loved that we didn’t have to climb the steep streets to get back to our hotel after our days out on the beach, and on boat excursions. A lovely place to spend a few summer days.

The staff are friendly and the restaurant at the hotel is fantastic. The room was clean with 2 options for pillows. However, the AC didn’t work properly. There is no vent unless you decide to leave the windows open, the air becomes SO muggy and unpleasant in the rooms. The breakfast was only OK.

The hotel was simply beautiful! The location is perfect with easy access down to the sand, the restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed drinks out on the terrace bar to watch the sunset. The service was impeccable from check in to check out. We hope to visit again one day! Highly recommend staying at Bucca de Bacco for your trip to the Amalfi coast!

Great property, great location! Loved our room which was super cute. Staff are alol wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Great breakfast selections and I looked forward to it every morning. Food at the restaurant was also great! I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future!

Wow, this hotel is amazing. Perfect location, great breakfast on the stunning terrace. The decor in our room was impressive. Best of all, the staff were so very good (especially Castillo at Brekky). This is the place to stay if you come to Positano!

My girls and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The staff were absolutely amazing, the location was perfect, and the hotel itself was clean, intimate, and beautiful. Being right in the center on the beach made the experience even more special. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
