Great service and hospitality. The staff and owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, served hot and fresh. The pub/restaurant was great with a nice selection of food and drinks. The rooms were well upgraded and clean with space to spread out.

Great hotel with plenty of parking. It’s a very short walk to the town centre & marsh land. The only downside is the price of the food and drinks, the food was lovely but I’ve had the same for a lot less money. I would still come here again. USB ports in our room. Comfortable bed. And we got a good nights sleep, as we didn’t hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. We were in room 2 which is above the pub but away from the bar areas. We also had a roll top bath and a separate shower in our bathroom. The shower was large so plenty of room.

Not our first stay or last.travelled from France and stayed overnight. Staff could not do enough for very tired travellers. Would recommend to anyone for a short or longer stay with or without dogs. Look forward to calling again.

Quiet location even though it's just off the main road. Check in was fine until the receptionist said we were in the new block, which was out of the door and turn left. No signage showing where the room was. Receptionist should have accompanied us. Room and bathroom we're both nice and clean. Only comment we didn't like the pillows. Food in the restaurant was nice but not value for money. Service in the restaurant was very good. Stockbridge stop over for us whilst heading to Southampton.

Lovely room spotlessly clean Nice large shower ,water provided in the fridge as well as a tassimo coffee machine and tea and milk. Dinner was nice Only negative for us were the dogs in the dining room at breakfast being a foot from our table and begging for food . I think the hotel should have asked if we minded the dogs being in the room

Comfortable room and bed with everything you would need. Clean bathroom and shower. One slightly annoying issue is the weird fridge on the wall which made noises throughout the night and can’t be unplugged. I think they should consider removing these as it woke me up a couple of times.

Generally good value for money. Spacious room for the with a nice, large and new bathroom, close to the centre of Stockbridge. The only downside were that the cooked breakfast was disappointing ("smashed avocado on sourdough toast" was a scraping of poor quality guacamole on a thin slice of what seemed to be ordinary white sandwich bread, with undercooked poached eggs), and also there was some black mould on the skylights in the room.

On the whole the property was functionally good. However the room whilst not dirty, had cobwebs and could have done with a dusting. We had a family gathering one evening the food was really average. The price of the drinks was in my opinion too high, £20 for two glasses of wine was in my view a little steep. Overall whilst I obtained what I thought was a good rate via Expedia, the two nights stay did not warrant the cost. I would search wider for value for money before choosing to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. We had a lovely friendly greeting on arrival, our room was full of character with an extremely comfy bed and the food was delicious for dinner and breakfast. It was also extremely reasonably priced which is always an added bonus!

The hotel is great and rooms very comfortably laid out . THe only issue was whilst the heating was flat out the room would not warm up. I put the curtains on the window sill so heat could get into the room but without success. At breakfast another couple had a similar experience stating their room was also very cold. That all said it was one of the best nights sleep I have had in months. BEd was very comfortable and the duvet kept me warm. I will stay again maybe not when the outside temperature is around 0→ -2'c

Ok service and breakfast was of good quality, However, the evening meal was decidedly poor. Hard, very few slices of avocado, cold toast and tomato with no hint of chilli in the dressing made for a tasteless starter. Main course (courgette and crab linguine) lacked both crab and courgette. I detected one thin shaving of courgette and if there was any crab it was invisible and tasteless. The cost of the ingredients could not have totalled more than a few pounds and cost £30 so terrible value . The room fronted the bins and was smelly and noisy = v little sleep. The TV didn’t work as the connections were faulty and possibly dangerous. The whole place needs an overhaul from top to bottom. I feel sorry for the front of housecstaff as they were all friendly and polite,

the staff were so accommodating, we were running late and they called to ask if we wanted to eat as the kitchen was taking last orders, the breakfast was excellent too. the rooms clean and had everything we needed, i would stay again.

Very pleasant staff, small room but it met our needs for a one-night stay, conveniently located in small market town with some interesting shops and a wide choice of restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away. On arrival (Friday at 6 ish) the roundabout at the front was busy but it was quiet the following morning and we were not disturbed at all during the night despite having our window open. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Stayed for 1 night whilst visiting Winchester. Only about 20 minutes away, so was ideal. Pub was lovely and cosy. Room was lovely, only thing that I would have loved to see was a hot hoc option in room as a non tea and coffee drinker it would have been a nice addition. Breakfast was lovely also.

Quiet location even though it's just off the main road. Check in was fine until the receptionist said we were in the new block, which was out of the door and turn left. No signage showing where the room was. Receptionist should have accompanied us. Room and bathroom we're both nice and clean. Only comment we didn't like the pillows. Food in the restaurant was nice but not value for money. Service in the restaurant was very good. Stockbridge stop over for us whilst heading to Southampton.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay here. We had a lovely friendly greeting on arrival, our room was full of character with an extremely comfy bed and the food was delicious for dinner and breakfast. It was also extremely reasonably priced which is always an added bonus!

Ok service and breakfast was of good quality, However, the evening meal was decidedly poor. Hard, very few slices of avocado, cold toast and tomato with no hint of chilli in the dressing made for a tasteless starter. Main course (courgette and crab linguine) lacked both crab and courgette. I detected one thin shaving of courgette and if there was any crab it was invisible and tasteless. The cost of the ingredients could not have totalled more than a few pounds and cost £30 so terrible value . The room fronted the bins and was smelly and noisy = v little sleep. The TV didn’t work as the connections were faulty and possibly dangerous. The whole place needs an overhaul from top to bottom. I feel sorry for the front of housecstaff as they were all friendly and polite,

Great hotel with plenty of parking. It’s a very short walk to the town centre & marsh land. The only downside is the price of the food and drinks, the food was lovely but I’ve had the same for a lot less money. I would still come here again. USB ports in our room. Comfortable bed. And we got a good nights sleep, as we didn’t hear any noise from the neighbouring rooms. We were in room 2 which is above the pub but away from the bar areas. We also had a roll top bath and a separate shower in our bathroom. The shower was large so plenty of room.

Lovely location, had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent, breakfast could not be faulted, great taste and quality. Would definitely stay again.

I booked a king room, and was given two singles. There was no coat hangers or iron, not ideal when you're travelling for work. The food wasn't great.

Generally good value for money. Spacious room for the with a nice, large and new bathroom, close to the centre of Stockbridge. The only downside were that the cooked breakfast was disappointing ("smashed avocado on sourdough toast" was a scraping of poor quality guacamole on a thin slice of what seemed to be ordinary white sandwich bread, with undercooked poached eggs), and also there was some black mould on the skylights in the room.

Busy pub, live music. We haven't stayed at the pub before the man at reception i think the manager booked us in and said you must be ...... dont know that name your rm is across the car park middle door no sure if its to the left or right. In the morning at breakfast just looked at us another staff member told us about breakfast, I think the manager needs to go on a customer service course. All other staff friendly. Food good,we had fish x chips could do with a few more chips x peas, had olives as a nibble with drinks, asked for bread x oil told no, garlic bread told no wasn't offered anything else. Room was clean couldn't get the TV to work in the morning, think batteries might of needed changing in remote. Air conditioning unit not very good.
