The pool is not functional and not open !!! We were told at the front desk during check-in that the pool wasn't working and it hasn't been working in a long time. When I mentioned that it didn't mention that on the website, she basically called me a liar. I immediately looked it up again to confirm that it wasn't. Otherwise, it's a nice place and the breakfast was really good 👍.

Our group stayed three nights and four days in rooms both with and without kitchens. The breakfast was great, staff were great, and the value was great. The rooms are dated with squeaky faucets, old carpets, and wobbly toilet seats, but otherwise comfortable. There isn’t much close by as it is on the hill above the main hotel strip, but Ithaca isn’t so big that we couldn’t drive. With the pool closed long-term, there’s nothing for kids to do around the hotel except to run up and down the halls. Our biggest gripe was that the advertised laundry services (washer and dryer) were not working all four days we were there. We probably would’ve booked another place with working laundry machines.

The room smelt damp, a very very strong smell. We had checked in fairly early in the afternoon so asked the receptionist if we could change rooms, she said that half the rooms smelt damp so there was no point changing. Even with the windows open all night it was unpleasant. Also, as a summer visit we expected the pool to be open, but it wasn’t, and the laundry was out of order. So not a great experience

Hotel was nice. Outside landscaping need attention, weeded etc. not a very well kept outside. Rooms were nice. Breakfast was good and workers were friendly and helpful. First floor ice machine broken. Mostly disappointed in the outside first impression for the price we paid.

There were small tears in the cushions on the couch. There were dings in the paint. The swimming pool was not open. The laundry service was not working. There are huge potholes in the parking lot.

The service and breakfast were great. Property needs work. Rooms walls are painted in different tones of green, you can see where there were frames hanging before and holes in the walls. In the shower, most of the water was going through the tub spot and just a few drops by the shower head, making it difficult to take a shower. We could not let the water drain (it was not working well neither) and the bathtub was getting full. Pool was out of service. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, the place was quiet. We slept well. Halloween decor and treats (for kids and pets) available at the lobby.

Bugs haven, spider is having a baby on the window , more than 15 rollie pollie running in the bathroom , cockroaches under the sink cabinets and corners of the room. Silverfish bug crawling on the bed. Very filthy. To suggest a health department visit.

The person who checked us in was nice. However, she did not share with us that the pool was out of service until after we paid for the room. The elevator smelled like dirty diapers. The light in our suite did not work. The bedroom sheets, blankets, and curtains were stained. The bed squeaked every time we rolled over. We could hear our neighbor snoring, people talking, every car that drove by, and every door that opened/closed in the hallway. There was only one single serve coffee available in the room. The tub faucet did not work. The TVs are very old. They do not allow for streaming, and they randomly turn off. Also, the free wifi is one bar at best. I have never had such a horrible night sleep, which is saying something, considering I am a travel nurse who has been in over a dozen different states.

Sheets had blood stains. Housekeeping was unavailable on weekends. I was given sheets by the clerk and had to change them myself. Mattress protector had yellow stain in center of mattress. Carpet had sticky stains between beds. Bathroom had red mold in corner next to shower.

The outside presentation of the property was poor. Inside the hotel, the hallways were dirty with stains and wet spots on the carpeting. The ice machine ran constantly with a sound of running water. The hotel's pool was in need of repair and shut down during the stay. The daily breakfast looked adequate, but the dining area floors and tables were dirty so we decided that we shouldn't eat without risking health issues. The hotel room (first floor) was dark and dirty, with food remnants left on chairs. The dresser was broken with missing handles and drawers that couldn't open or close without significant effort. The bathroom had a tub with a visible dirt ring around it. We wiped it down to see if it was a stain, but it was not. Just poorly cleaned.

The rooms were barely clean, very worn out and dated. The kitchenette had no plates or dishes to eat in and only one vessel to cook in. The front desk offered paper plates instead. There was a dampness and strange smell in the room. Also, the AC made a very loud motor sound and would intermittently turn off then turn on with a loud noise waking everyone up during the night. The pool, of course, is closed for the unforeseeable future.

This was a good basic hotel stay for one night. Beds were comfortable everything was clean. The amount of space in the two bed suite is really great. Having a couch and a chair in a separate little room was fantastic. The heating was a little weird. The area near the window was really cold even though it said it was 72° in the room. It was impossible to get onto the free Wi-Fi. And housekeeping started to try to come into our room at like 9 o’clock in the morning. Even the checkout time is 12. They tried more than once even with the do not disturb sign on the door knob. Not a big deal. Just a little annoying. I would stay here again though; it’s very convenient Ithaca and Ithaca College.

Property and the room we stayed in appeared to needing some repair. Walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbors and people in the hallway. On the plus side, the staff are very nice and the buffet breakfast is quite tasty. Also there are some wonderful hiking, state parks and attractions nearby.

Large rooms, clean, pleasant front desk staff, but not many places to eat nearby. Plan to use food delivery services or drive into town. One dresser had no functioning knobs on any drawers. Fridge hummed loudly, but good that there was a fridge and microwave. Rooms serviced every three days. Spacious rooms are the biggest plus. Didn't have time to visit Buttermilk Falls, unfortunately.

A very convenient place to stay when we drop off or visit our daughter at college. Very spacious and usually well priced rooms, very clean, quite decent breakfast. We’ve stayed here 3-4 times and will keep staying. Noticed a bit more overall dinginess this time around…not dirty at all, just worn and strangely mismatched furniture which we hadn’t noticed in past visits.

We love this hotel and stay every time we visit family. The only downside is that they have terrible internet service. That’s the only reason I give 4 not 5 stars. It’s not a deal breaker though. But it’s definitely a downside. Sorry!

When we checked in, the front desk staff member was fantastic, super friendly and helpful. The two we dealt with the following day were rude, disinterested, and unfriendly. We also had trouble with the wifi repeatedly kicking us off and had to get our keys re-formatted because we were locked out of the room. The parking lot is a mess and really needs to be resurfaced. The included breakfast was nice and the room was clean, but we did not receive any housekeeping from Friday - Sunday.

We have had family stay at this location before, and it was clean and nicely appointed. So this time, I booked a room for my daughter and her partner for a wedding on the weekend. We booked this location because they had early check in, which was confirmed on the reservation. the wedding was at 4pm on the other side of town, and regular check in was 3pm. And a half hour drive. She called the night before and was told that there was not going to be early check in. Then in the morning was told there was not going to be early check in. When she arrived at 3, there was no one at the desk. Then when finally arriving, the front desk person was so rude, that another person in line remarked how rude they were. She ended up being late to the wedding and had to get ready in the car. Kind of makes the whole reason for the room (and it was out of town) useless. So the entire experience with renting this room, was very frustrating. It is too bed, because it really is a nice hotel and the rooms are clean with a comfortable bed. But no one likes to be greeted with a hostile worker.

The property was decorated beautifully for Christmas! Most staff was very helpful, but Sunday morning desk and breakfast staff was completely inflexible when we asked if our kids who had to get to a swim meet could eat breakfast 5-10 mins early. Also our toilet and shower were broken, the carpet has lots of stains, and some lamp switches did not work. We came back at night and all of a sudden our keys no longer worked. Pool was broken down and walls were very thin so it was noisy!

Arrived early around 1pm, desk person was eating in back came out with mouth full. Asked "Tisheba" front office manager if our room was ready. She stated "check in is at 3" and pointed to sign. Inquired if she could take our information now? Stated "that's not our policy". We initially asked her where Ithaca is and she said "this is Ithaca". We than asked where there were some restaurants or things to do and she stated "I'm not from around here." She didn't have a listing of restaurants or of things to do, she was very sarcastic and unhelpful. Not very friendly at all. Came back at 2:45 pm to many people waiting outside and in. Asked about our room. Sarcastically stated it was not 3pm 20-30 minutes. Even at 3pm there were rooms of people waiting that were not ready. Several check-in issues of patrons. I asked multiple questions and she stated to me rudely "Are you trying to get someone in trouble"? I have never been treated like that at a hotel before. Someone working at a front desk should not be chewing food while talking to customers, be sarcastic or rude to customers. We were only trying to find something to do for a couple of hours. We were there for an event and had never been to Ithaca before. Very unhelpful. We will not be staying at this hotel again. Actually, we had reservations for the following week which we canceled and will be staying at another hotel.

The room was clean but all the furniture and rug were a bit tired and worn. The kitchen was very useful since we were there a week. When we arrived the pots were burned black but they immediately replaced them with new ones. One of the stove tops didn’t work and in less than 5 minutes, someone came to repair it. Overall, it’s the super friendly staff that made our stay quite enjoyable.

Nobody at the front desk when checking in. The check in process was super slow. The room walls are thin so there are noises from other rooms almost all night. The breakfast area is small. It gets crowded at peak time. The soft cookie at the front desk is nice addition for lack of good service. Room cleaning is on the 3rd day basis.

Two Queen room with pull out sofa. AC worked really well. Clean. Breakfast was really good. Cheesy eggs and bacon and Belgian waffles, sausage and gravy, fruit and pastries and breads and oatmeal. Coffee was decent. Friendly front desk.

Loved the small touches of bottled water and a treat when checking in. The fresh baked cookies were also a hit! The beds were comfortable and the suite was perfect for giving everyone some space. The breakfast was excellent!

The room was clean. The hallway was quiet at night. The room rate was reasonable for a Sunday night though would have been very expensive on a Saturday night. The breakfast was good. The coffee was above average and nice and hot.
