Stayed 3 nights at URH Zen Balagares and was disappointed overall. The staff behaved correctly and professionally, but were far from **welcoming** or genuinely friendly, which added to the cold, impersonal feeling of the stay. Despite the hotel being almost empty, I was given a room without any outside window, more like an interior cabin than a 4‑star hotel room, and there was no water kettle plus a sink that never drained properly during the whole stay. Check‑in was extremely slow with only one receptionist for a small group ahead of me, the bar is overpriced for average food (a simple beer is 4.50 €), and overall the 3‑day stay fell far below what a 4‑star spa hotel should offer; correct but not friendly service is simply not enough to make up for these shortcomings.

While I found the overall environment pleasing, I was quite disappointed with the lack of soundproofing in the rooms. Unfortunately, the walls did not adequately block noise, and I could clearly hear conversations, the air conditioning unit, and various other sounds from the neighboring room during the night. This constant noise significantly disturbed my sleep and impacted my stay negatively.

Clean, friendly staff. Weird idea to have a windows in the bathroom, with only a see-through curtain. Unconformable with a family of 3 (asked for a sheet, got it no problem, hang it on the curtain, that helped). 20 euro for a dog per night is steep, but you get a bowl, a snack and there's a doggy play area, so, ok. No coffee in the room is embarrassing for this price class. The mini fridge didn't really work.
