The lanai view of the harbor, jetty, whales, and turtles is mesmerizing. Ma’alaea is an excellent location — easy drive to anywhere on Maui plus the Maui Ocean Center, the cruises out of the harbor, and the shops — loved it all.

Great view of breakwater, harbor, turtles, and our plover! Beautiful art, lots of kitchenware, luxurious linens. Easy walk to Ma'alea village and aquarium. We left extra TP, Kleenex, and grocery bags for the next people.

This was perfect for my mom (86) and me. We spent a lot of time on the lanai, watching the tour boats come and go. We decided on the boat we liked to best, and booked a tour it was wonderful, just a 2-minute walk to where we get on the boat. We loved the general store nearby, the Ocean Center was great, and all the little shops. It's a beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of all the tourists, but a good location to go on day trips all over the island. Definitely a thumbs up. And it really is a beautiful as the photos promise. Amazing place!
