This is a great hotel. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There is plenty of space here for different parties. Outdoor and indoor pool are both super nice. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of staff. They were very slow at check in and check out. People get frustrated on line. Also there was only 1 elevator working for the whole building and its 10 floors. I heard some lady say she was there over the holidays and there was issue with the elevators then too. Thankfully we were on the 4th floor and used the stairs most of the time. Was definitely an inconvenience considering the amount of money I paid for the night. Would recommend if in the area for wedding or party. Make sure you have the energy to climb the stairs if you don't want to wait forever for the elevator.

Hotel had 8 weddings and only one elevator worked. Pool was closed by board of health for a few hours. Used makeup pads on the floor. Fire alarm went off at 1a. No hotel staff to manage or communicate the evacuation or return to the hotel.

We had 3 fire alarms sound. One required evacuation and there was a 5 hr water shutdown one day. No electricity or ac one night There were TV remote issues, no batteries on site. Elevators were backed up most of the time Necessitating us walking the 3 flights to and from our room. Our room was clean and the staff was pleasant

Bed, blanket & pillows were OK. Room was clean. Most of the staff were friendly. UNFORTUNATELY, 2 of the 3 guest elevators weren't working & just 1 of the staff elevators were working! And the guest elevator that was working sounded horrid, as if it was about to have a cable snap or something. At those prices, broken elevators are unacceptable! Had to wait 30 minutes for elevator! This property is attempting to be upscale & classy, but this brings entire experience way down! Could here loud guests from next room & family with very loud children several rooms away

Terrible. Check in at 3? Room wasn’t ready until 5:30. That is not the way a high priced hotel treats guests. All the elevators broke down and had to use the service car along with dozens of others. Waiting for the service car caused us to take 15 minutes to get to the lobby. All together, amazed at how bad this experience was

Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards I’ve come to expect from Hyatt. The first major issue was with the elevators. During my stay, only one out of the three elevators was operational. This resulted in long wait times and considerable inconvenience for guests. Compounding the issue, several large weddings were taking place at the hotel, which meant the single working elevator was overcrowded and difficult to access. Secondly, I was disappointed to find that the TVs in the rooms were outdated and not Smart TVs. In 2025, this feels far behind industry standards and impacted the overall in-room experience. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hallways was not up to standard. Throughout the weekend, I noticed trash and leftover food scattered in various areas, which was both unpleasant and concerning from a hygiene perspective. Lastly, the breakfast was underwhelming. The quality of the food, particularly the eggs, was poor and did not reflect the level of quality typically associated with Hyatt. Overall, I had higher expectations for a Hyatt property, and it was unfortunate that my stay fell short in several key areas. For a listed 4 star hotel it really needs some updating/renovations. I hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future guests.

The hotel is really showing it's age. Great central location off of the LIE in Hauppauge. The A/C in room 442 rattled and was noisy. The window had fogging between the panes and was too cloudy to really see out of. The window had black mold all over the sash and frames. The tub faucet was leaky and dripped. The bed was extremely comfortable and the rug was new. The elevators were extremely slow during my stay. Staff was pleasant. This hotel hosts a lot of weddings and large gatherings but seemed mostly to have holiday visitors during my recent visit. Not sure if I would stay here again.

Great place to stay, quiet clean, good size room, large TV, very comfortable bed and fantastic view on the golf course from the 10th. floor. Clean quality towels, very good hot brakfast, featuring, bacon, eggs, waffles, oatmeal, yougurt with fresh berries, good coffee. Great golf course withing walking distance.

We needed something in the area, this looked like the best option but the rooms are dated and have very small windows. They also have loud portable AC units which take up a considerable amount of space. The hotel met our needs but I wouldn't stay for more than one night. They really could use some updating.

Room had non working heating but I was moved to another within an hour. Expensive for Long Island. Very clean. Unobtrusive staff. Heating unit was noisy but I think that’s a US typical. No microwave. Coffee machine OK but the water coming out if it had strong chlorine taste. Great Long Island view from top floors

I stayed at the Hyatt regency in Long Island the night before & after my wedding. I got ready here for my big day. The air conditioning was broken and I was hot the entire night before my wedding. The next morning I called someone & they came to resolve the issue. To make matters worse, we had a lot of guests flying in from different states to stay at this hotel, and upon checking in, a lot of the guests rooms were not ready for a while for them to check in, resulting a lot of guests to show up late to my ceremony because the Hyatt Regency was unable to check in my guests at an appropriate time & they couldn’t get ready on time. Terrible! Lastly, upon checking in, they ask for a credit card to charge $100 fee in case of any damages which will be refunded to you when you check out, I was charged 3 times and had to call to resolve that as well. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Not a great experience.

Some of the most unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Would avoid staying here if you can. Power goes out every 15 minutes, elevators don't work, told any issues they had was personal issues, overcharged. Really a miserable stay.

Property was nice, room was clean. My only issue was I called and asked if we could do early check in so we could shower before we had to be somewhere. When I called they told me yes and asked me what time I would be by and I said 12. We got to the hotel a little before 12 and went to check in. The front desk said it would be a few more minutes but we waited for over 30 minutes and the room was not ready. We ended up having to leave or we would be late to the wake we were attending. The room was actually not ready until 45 minutes after the 12 time I was told on the phone would be fine. They didn’t end up charging for the early check in but if I had know a realistic time that the room would have been ready I could have showered and got ready at a family members house instead of wasting time driving to the hotel and waiting for the room to not be ready in time.

The breakfast buffet was good ($28) a little high but convenient and I would do that again for sure. The dinner menu looked great, wish I would’ve stayed and eaten there rather than go out. As for facility, only one of 3 elevators were available so always a wait to get up to or down from room. Elevator capacity is 6 so there were people waiting that couldn’t get on. Bathroom fixtures a little rickety but worked ok. Parking lot needs paving upgrade, lots of holes and patches. All in all a nice place, clean, and staff is courteous. We agreed we would definitely stay there again.

This is a great place to stay for business or if you’ve just spent the day at the beach. Like I did. I had to drive a little bit for great restaurants, but great restaurants there were about 15 minutes away. Convenient to the Long Island Expressway. The hotel was clean and well decorated. Bedding and pillows very nice. Loved the snack shop in the lobby with FREE coffee, espresso, hot chocolate machine. I had 2 double espressos during my stay with some Tate’s cookies. Yum. Outdoor pool is okay but I had gone too the beach so I did not stay long. Wanted AC and to relax. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Long Island visiting family. It is a perfect location on a beautiful green and lush golf course. The front desk team lead by Anne Marie are awesome. We want to recognize the wonderful customer service provided by Shelly, Whelsey, Akbar, Avhi and Elizabeth. They all went above and beyond to help our family. We so enjoyed the wonderful breakfast buffet each morning. There is a vast assortment of breakfast delights. Jocelyn is a new Manager who is doing a great job. She made sure to bring us a delicious cake to celebrate my husbands birthday. What a treat! The breakfast team is fabulous as they are so kind, caring and attentive. My son has a food allergy so they made sure he had what he needed each morning! Thank you Kevin, Charisse and Katie for taking such wonderful care of us! We keep coming back because of these wonderful people!

There was a pageant going on so there were kids and drunk moms running around until 4am. The building has seen better days, quite dated. I was traveling for work so I ate at the hotel restaurant. Very good food but I wouldn't have eaten there on my own dime. VERY expensive for what you get.

REPEAT FIRE DRILLS ON SATURDAY 5/31; FIRE IN KITCHEN TAKING THE ONLY RESTAURANT ON PREMISES OUT OF COMISSION, THEREFORE LEAVING GUESTS OUT OF LOCAL OPTIONS - INCONVENIENT, THOUGH MANAGEABLE VIA UBER EATS. THEIR SMALL PANTRY STORE NEAR THE CHECK IN COUNTER IS RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE. SHAME ON THE HOTEL TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE WHEN THEY NEED FOOD QUICKLY. THE HOTEL ITSELF IS VERY CLEAN AND A ROOM WITH A KING SIZE BED IS VERY ROOMY, VERY CLEAN AND VERY WELL STOCKED WITH SUPPLIES SUCH AS SHAMPOO, LOTION, WASH, QTIPS, COTTON ROUNDS, SHOWERCAP; THERE WAS WELL STOCKED K-CUPS COFFEE STATION, THOUGH IN ROOM 1041 IT WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY ON MAY 31.

Husband and I stayed for 3 nights while attending Star Trek weekend event. The hotel was full with the convention and several weddings. Cleaning staff was friendly and did a good job.Only 1 out of 3 elevators were operating most of the weekend, which caused patrons to wait or overload elevator(6 person cap). No ice was available for the room two of the days. Multiple fire alarms required hotel evacuations during Trek sessions. Room service menu was uninspired. No info about on site dining options in rooms or posted anywhere. We left for all meals. Overall a little disappointing for the cost. The Star Trek convention was awesome!
