Beech Mount Hotel - Free Parking

Stay was ok. But the stairway up to the room was dirty. The rooms are tatty. There was someone else’s sock over the smoke detector. Only one pillow each on the beds and no spares in the cupboard. No parking available when we arrived so we had to park on the roadside. Car park is narrow. Door locked when we arrived at around 10pm which is understandable but not easy to work out how to get access. Food at breakfast was packet dry pastries, meat, cheese, limited cereals and salads.

Good location, reasonable price, especially when compared to other hotels in the area. Staff were helpful.and professional, however, the whole place is beginning to look tired and in need of a bit of TLC. For example, the curtains in our room were faded and no longer pulled properly over the windows, which meant we couldn't block out the light. The shower door was off its rail at the bottom, making it difficult to open and close. Water pressure in the shower wasn't great, making showering properly tricky. The hotel carpark isn't big enough for the amount of rooms on offer, but there is free parking on the road, so it wasn't an issue. The room was small, but had everything that was needed, although the tea tray was basic, as was the continental breakfast, which was nicely laid out and staff were very good at replenishing items. However, there was no choice in the type of tea and the food items on offer were obviously the cheapest possible.

Hotel convenient to city. Staff very friendly. Good continental breakfast. Shower pressure low. Parking is free but maybe better to state that on site spaces are limited and the over flow is street parking

Room was ok but beds were not very comfortable and only came with one low quality pillow. One bed was higher than the other so beds are not standard. A towel rail was missing too. The arms were there but no rail attached to them. Toilet roll holder was broken so couldn’t be used, shower was low pressure or the head was blocked as it was more of a drip than a shower but it was better the second day so presumably they checked it and made it better. Breakfast was very basic and a bit bland. It was continental style The staff were very friendly and attentive and the bar was pretty good and had a pool table and a beer garden although the door to the garden was in need of repair as it was very difficult to open. Parking wasn’t a problem for us as we managed to park in the hotel car park every time we went out and came back. It is an old building and it shows with worn out furniture and creaking floors and stairs which highlighted people walking around near our room. The location was very good for our needs as we had family living within 4 miles and there were plenty of shops and eateries around. The free view on the tv only had 6 or 7 channels the rest were saying no programme available. Standard channels like BBC and ITV etc were not available on freeview so could not even watch the News. The little details, the TV, shower, noise, general repairs required make a difference but overall it was ok and no more than that. Have stayed at much worse.

The little Bar was a nice plus. Met some great people there. And the bartender was awesome

Comfortable and affordable place to stay, my 2nd stay this year to come up and watch football. Free parking and a flat walk to the stadium (on a bus route if you dont want to walk!)

The car park was full we struggled to park nearby. Hotel was dated bathroom was tiny but beds comfy staff were friendly and pleasant

Advertised as having parking but no spaces available despite arriving early as car park very small. Condition of hotel and rooms very poor. Extremely over priced for a dated room in a poor state of repair

Relatively basic hotel, looks and feels tired, and with limited evident staffing. Private facilities were squashed in but room was clean and the rooms not unduly hot and beds pretty comfortable. About a 40m walk to the centre and in a slightly run-down area, but a positive was the quiet; we had no problem parking on site. Bar was closed at 9 once the Front Desk 'concierge' left for the night, so you have to relocate to one of the lounges or go outside to a nearby pub. Continental breakfast had fair choice and we didn't go hungry, but we did get frustrated with the kitchen help... the slide that sends the toast to the front of the machine was inserted the wrong way round, so easy to burn yourself retrieving your toast etc. We turned it round but the kitchen help/woman came out and put it back in the wrong way round, so the next person's toast then fell out the back! It's key benefits though... notably cheaper than the hotels in the centre of town and capacity to park on site or just outside on the road.

Friendly staff, dated property. Could do with washing paintwork and dusting taller items. Shower door broken and reported but not fixed during stay. Otherwise satisfied

Unfortunately I would not choose to stay at this hotel again. Not good value for money. The place is very tired and in need of a lot of attention and the bed was so uncomfortable that I barely slept. I stay in liverpool frequently and pay similar prices for a much more comfortable and enjoyable stay. On a positive note the staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean.

Lovely Victorian building but very tired..decor is ok but poorly done every where needs a good dusting ..staff are pleasant ..room was ok bathroom clean ..no ventilation, window was stuck no way was that opening so sleep was difficult in the heat ..The area where hotel is ,is not good people camping in pavements a few yards from hotel ..10 min on number 10a bus to city and Lime street station

We stayed here for the first time, was very welcoming! Breakfast was lovely, room was clean. Only gripe was one mattress was collapsed so wasn’t very comfortable but it was only for one night.

I understand there are certain upgrades the hotel cannot perform due to historic protections. However, the dining room was absolutely freezing in the morning so I didn't want to sit there any longer than needed when eating, only 1 radiator sort of worked in the room. There was dust/spider webs on light fixings etc. The interior was just beyond outdated which can be changed. Electrics were flickering when turning things on which is just poor wiring. Bathroom was updated sort of with LED bulbs and mirrors etc and was cleaner than the rest of the bedroom. The mattress was very firm, there was no give in it at all. Curtains didn't cover the window fully either. It is what it is for an average price I guess but there is potential interior wise that they just seem to not want to invest in.

Clean and comfortable room, good size with storage. A few maintenance issues, especially shower frame broken so had to hold in hand. Also lights and lamp in room not working. Welcoming staff. But Despite being asked to choose a time slot for breakfast there were more people trying to eat than there were tables available which was awkward! Overall a pleasant stay.

30 minutes leisurely walk to Anfield stadium. Very limited free parking at the hotel, ample parking on the street outside the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ok, stay for a one night stop over. The hotel is dated and needs updating. When checking in a £50 damages payment will be taken from you and returned to your account in 30 days. This was not stipulated when booking. We were in the eves of the hotel and it was unbearable hot with no fans or air con, shower leaked, extractor fan was not working in bathroom, kettle was broken

We had to pay a £50 damages deposit as the building is listed but there were quite a few little damages already in the room, which we pointed out. The window blind was also broken so we couldn't let the daylight in.

Room basic but clean which is really all I needed for 1 nights stay. Could do with the shower tiles updating as grout was black in places up the walls. But sheets were lovely and clean an£ bed was comfy. Everything there you need, including tea and coffee facilities. Unfortunately other guests were very noisy, man shouting at the top of his voice a couple of times around 2am, also girl screaming and kicking the door in the corridor shouting at the man in the room down the corridor from mine. Apart from these inconsiderate guests, I had a good nights sleep and would stay here again.

Comfortable bed, large room, clean spacious wet room. Friendly staff. Basic but nice buffet continental breakfast.

Overall and enjoyable place. Mattress on the bed was in bad condition so a very uncomfortable nights sleep and only had one small pillow. Shower head needed descaling. I did report this to the receptionist in the morning. So I’m sure it wouldn’t be sorted for the next guess as the hotel staff were absolutely brilliant and made the stay very welcoming. So with the staff being so good I would come back and hopefully my feedback would be helpful.

Absolutely disgusting hotel I’ve ever seen, run down and dirty on our arrival we were shocked by the exterior and in shock of the interior. We left immediately and informed the desk of our disappointment and were treated with no respect at all and was bluntly informed that no refund would be made. Worst hotel ive ever seen in my life.

Enjoyed our stay - staff very friendly and helpful.

The staff at this hotel go above and beyond. I can't praise them enough for the support they gave with a medical emergency. Nothing was too much trouble

The staff were absolutely lovely. Really warm welcome and they even gave us an upgrade to celebrate my boyfriends birthday which was so so kind of them.

Did not stay & hotel had to be canceled as I have son who has severe complex needs (WHS) and had taken ill so could not make trip . The manger said no to refund which I think is down right horrible situation .Hotel .com did phone them but said No . Not great customer care at all. Felt let down as son life shorting condition . O

Great stay! 30 minute walk to Anfield Convenience shops walking distance and a few pubs And also a bus stop that takes you to and from the Manchester airport Area isn’t too bad Overall I’m happy with my stay and would stay here again

First impression - extremely friendly and efficient staff at reception. Extremely clean and presentable facilities. "Continental" breakfast was actually quite substantial. JUST possible to walk back from Anfield (about 40 minutes)

This hotel is a lovely, quaint little place with easy walking distance to shops/restaurants and Anfield (which was our reason for staying). The staff are lovely, the place is very clean and the complimentary breakfast is a nice touch that was much appreciated. If we are ever in Liverpool again this is where we’ll be staying for definite!

Nice place, close to Anfield Stadium.

Hotel in good location close to a couple of pubs, an Iceland, lidl and macdonalds all within 100 yards. Bust stop just round the corner with regular buses to the centre. About 10 minutes on the bus. Hotel very dated but clean. Didn't have the continental breakfast so cannot comment. Only problem was the shower. Very small cubicle and the flow was very slow. If you removed the handst from the holder the flow of water was non existence.

The hotel itself was very old fashioned but charming, decorated to suit the architecture. The room was pretty basic, though had what you needed for a good price! Breakfast was pleasant enough, no cooked options but all you can eat nonetheless. Would return again- we had an event nearby so was ideal.

Uncomfortable bed which dipped down like a camp bed, room fans so noisy next doors kept me up along with a lot of other noise. Brekfast was so busy the next day you couldn’t move and was only cold foods so we ate elsewhere.

Was good just would of preferred a cooked breakfast in the morning and the continental wasn't that great neither tbh other than that had no issues, not sure why they don't do a cooked breakfast as it looks like they have the means to do so.

Room clean, hotel it’s self needs update/refresh, breakfast room/ bar was cold, have to wait 10 - 30 days for deposit to be returned which you pay on arrival for damages etc to be returned, staff very friendly & helpful

Let me check in early.So glad as needed a rest from travelling all morning.Only overnight for The Boss at Anfield. Bed was so comfortable and had a terrific sleep. Staff warm and friendly. Hotel was much bigger than i expected.Clean and easy to find.Good continental breakfast with lots of choice .

Lovely staff, but a tired hotel; breakfast was not so good. Not terrible but not great. Warrants a cheaper price in this context. Its saving grace is that it is 1.5 miles from Anfield!
