Relatively small but lovely hotel. Staff was exceptionally accommodating and attentive. Very close to the heart of Positano and within steps of the shopping “district” and the path to the beach. It may lack some amenities of larger hotels but in our experience the value was unmatched.

The hotel is in the Positano Center. Nearby restaurants, shops , ATM machine downstairs. Theres also a bakery about 5 minutes walk from hotel. The view across the hotel is amazing. Breakfast: excellent choices including fresh fruits, pastries, cheese, meats. Choice of coffees: Cappuccino, American, espressos Choice of Juices Bacon, eggs etc. Taxi service across hotel for transport and pick up at Naples Airport. Overall an excellent hotel including wonderful caring staff. Thank you!!!

The hotel room had amazing amenities; coffee, daily water, smart tv, automatic blinds, AC/heat, safe, mini fridge. The hotel also had a great breakfast buffet that's included with every room; variety of options and also delicious. Staff also serve you drinks during breakfast. They also keep their lounge open all day for drinks and relaxation. Their concierge Imma went above and beyond to help us during our stay. My knee was hurting and she offered daily ice for me, let me know about their accessible lift if needed, suggested certain medications from the pharmacy that could help, etc. She also printed a map of Sorrento and gave us many tips and recommendations on it for us because she knew we were heading to that town next. She always ensured we were taken care of and always accommodated to us or offered accommodations. We couldn't speak more highly of her. We definitely recommend this hotel! The only critique is that the rooms arent sound proof. You can hear guests that are in rooms close to you so maybe bring earplugs if sensitive to sound!

Perfect location close to the local bus line and pedestrian access to the city/beach. Quaint, clean room with view of the water and small balcony. Accommodating staff-even allowed my husband to use the small elevator when he sprained his ankle during the trip. Two long flights of stairs to access the room, but typical for Positano as the entire city is on a steep hillside. Excellent breakfast with good variety.

The location is excellent you cant find better in this price, when you come its better by the bus so you go down, instead if you come from the port you need to climb the stairs or pay 10 euro each baggage so someone will get it for you. The bed not comfortable at all, we stayed two night and each morning we wake up with back pain. the breakfast was awful, there is no basic, there is no ham no cheese, just boiled eggs and one kind of corasson There is no options. So its not really a breakfast. ( and believe me we are people that dont look for a fancy breakfast). And there is a lot of stairs and the elevator for 1 person only. And its not an offical elevator.

Would highly recommend staying here, in a perfect location in the centre of Positano, 5-10 mins walk to the beach, lots of little shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel itself is lovely, very clean and staff really helpful and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. You even get beach towels and flip flops provided in your room if you want to go to the beach!

My stay here was absolutely perfect. It’s centrally located and close to the beach, ferry port, and several restaurants and shops. My room was excellently cleaned and the sea view was the perfect cherry on top. Not to mention the delicious breakfast that was included with my stay. They offer free towels if you plan to have a beach day and have so many recommendations to add to your itinerary. Salvatore helped me set all of that up upon check in. His service is the main reason I will be booking here again in the future. Overall one of my favorite stays and I would recommend to anyone!

This property has been one of my favorites if not my favorite I have stayed at! The staff were amazing, they were so helpful, nice, and knowledgeable about the area. The area was perfect so close to the main beach and lots of restaurants and bars! 10/10 would recommend!

The room was roomy, white clean, crisp sheets and towels. It had a lovely balcony with a retractable awning, perfect for a glass of wine and appetizers at the end of the day. Loved the staff! Breakfast had so many options, many organic so something for everyone. Short walk to the beach and shopping.

The breakfast was very nice. The location is great! Hotel is kept very clean. I dropped a piece of jewelry down the sink late at night and the employee at the front desk quickly retrieved it for me. I left medication in the refrigerator and an employee dropped it off at my new location about 30 minutes away. How helpful!!!

Balcony view was the only positive experience. Poor bread quality in doggy bag, which I suspect they recycled cos is so crushed n used.. not hygienic! Fruits are either over ripe or unripe! The bananas are so black, unfit to be served. Room service was do slip shot, within 15min! Sink not properly washed..

This hotel was a great deal and for the price a great location to all the shops and restaurants. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast provided was a nice touch as well. The only downside to the property is that it is pretty noisy. Not the noise from the outside but interior walls/doors are very thin and can hear almost everything happening in the hallways and rooms next to you.

Bongiorno! The staff at this hotel were extremely accommodating to the point where they made us feel like we were staying at our friend’s place. The rooms are small, but that is to be expected. There was a lot of shelf space in the room to put our stuff which was nice, the location was fantastic being only steps away from the path to the beach and tour ships, as well as TONS of wonderful shops with amazing things to purchase including hand made sandals made right in front of us. The restaurants were amazing, including Da Vincenzo, where we had an amazing meal and personalized service from the owner himself. Every day we were there, we walked the beautiful street for exercise and see amazing views everywhere we turned. We ended up at il San Pietro one day, which is a Michelin property. It’s very expensive but a nice place to visit for the breathtaking views, amazing drinks and snack presentation and exquisite property tucked into the mountainside. Hotel Bougainville is definitely a place we’d stay again on our next trip to the fabulous town of Positano. Ciao! Chris

This hotel’s location is perfect. It’s about a seven minute walk down to the beach. The balcony’s look over one of the main strips with shops and restaurants. Very walkable area. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. They assisted us with booking a day trip to Almalfi, and they always asked how our stay was going when they greeted us in the lobby. Breakfast and the cappuccinos were delicious!

Awesome hotel in paradise! Location is awesome, and restaurants, wine bars, cafes, shopping all around this hotel. Rooms are very nice sized, and breakfast is excellent. They also serve in room. The breakfast was very nice. The location is great! Hotel is kept very clean. I dropped a piece of jewelry down the sink late at night and the employee at the front desk quickly retrieved it for me. I left medication in the refrigerator and an employee dropped it off at my new location about 30 minutes away. How helpful!!!

The staff were so amazing to us! Even weeks prior they reached out and organized everything for us so easily no matter the time of day. They also tried really hard to get my lost luggage for me, offered to pack our breakfast to go, called every restaurant to get us reservations, all our rides. I am so grateful that they made my birthday trip special. Also the location is perfect!

I feel very fortunate that we stayed here. The staff was amazing! Every single person was friendly and helpful. They arranged transportation from the airport, made excellent recommendations for dinner and even reservations. This hotel’s location is perfect. It’s about a seven minute walk down to the beach. The balcony’s look over one of the main strips with shops and restaurants. Very walkable area. The hotel staff was extremely accommodating. They assisted us with booking a day trip to Almalfi, and they always asked how our stay was going when they greeted us in the lobby. Breakfast: excellent choices including fresh fruits, pastries, cheese, meats. Choice of coffees: Cappuccino, American, espressos Choice of Juices Bacon, eggs etc. Taxi service across hotel for transport and pick up at Naples Airport. Accommodating staff-even allowed my husband to use the small elevator when he sprained his ankle during the trip. Two long flights of stairs to access the room, but typical for Positano as the entire city is on a steep hillside. Excellent breakfast with good variety.

Would highly recommend staying here, in a perfect location in the centre of Positano, 5-10 mins walk to the beach, lots of little shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel itself is lovely, very clean and staff really helpful and welcoming - nothing was too much trouble. You even get beach towels and flip flops provided in your room if you want to go to the beach!

The location is excellent you cant find better in this price, when you come its better by the bus so you go down, instead if you come from the port you need to climb the stairs or pay 10 euro each baggage so someone will get it for you. The bed not comfortable at all, we stayed two night and each morning we wake up with back pain. the breakfast was awful, there is no basic, there is no ham no cheese, just boiled eggs and one kind of corasson There is no options. So its not really a breakfast. ( and believe me we are people that dont look for a fancy breakfast). And there is a lot of stairs and the elevator for 1 person only. And its not an offical elevator.

Balcony view was the only positive experience. Poor bread quality in doggy bag, which I suspect they recycled cos is so crushed n used.. not hygienic! Fruits are either over ripe or unripe! Wow what an incredible stay at Bougainville Hotel! The room was spacious and clean, the staff was SO friendly and helpful. Very worth booking a porter service through the hotel to bring your bags from the port of you take the ferry in. The breakfast in the morning was so delicious and the view from the Hotel restaurant was amazing. Could not recommend this place enough. They are centrally located to all rest and shops. Great place to stay when visiting Postitano!

We had a great visit at La Bougainville. It is in a great central location with a 15 minute walk up hill from waterfront on mostly cobblestone walkway with just a few sets of stairs. Going down was 6-7 minutes to waterfront. Staff at hotel were excellent and helpful and the breakfast had a great variety and was a nice bonus. We were in a basic room but had everything we needed for a great stay.

Not amazing, but also not terrible. The location is fantastic, but expect to be swarmed by tourists morning, noon and night. This was our second visit to Positano, but our first time staying here. While there was nothing horrible about the hotel, I would not stay here again. One thing I will point out, is the bed was not comfortable at all.

The breakfast every morning was a huge plus and it was fantastic every day! So many options and the cappuccinos and coffees made to order were also great.
