Conveniently located with superb view of the ocean. Very friendly staff, and rooms and other common areas are very clean and nicely decorated. They have valet parking and a few spots in front of the hotel to unload your luggage. Very convenient for small streets of Positano. Short convenient walk to town center and beach.

The hotel location is ideal, close enough to the town center, but also high on the hill to over great views - The front desk staff was AMAZING, so friendly and informative. Also, the restaurant was great - good food and great service. I definitely recommend getting breakfast included as it is a great start to the day and climbing all the steps!

The hotel is amazing! From check in, Jade was so sweet and welcoming, she even took the time to show us around the hotel and gave us tips on how to get around Positano. The views from our balcony were incredible! The restaurant at the hotel is a plus since most restaurants in Positano need reservations or have long waits, food & service were both great!

The staff was very friendly and the hotel is beautiful. We had a great view. There were not a lot of dining options right near our hotel so we ate dinner there which was good but limited menu.

A gem of a boutique hotel! The entire staff is trained to please you from the moment you arrive! The service is exceptional! Our room was exactly as pictured on the website and the views from our balcony were mesmerizing! They also have a fine restaurant and the views of water and surrounding cliffs are astounding! They helped us arrange our private car transfers at great prices compared to other companies. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a great stay. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. The service was excellent. We had a delicious dinner at the restaurant and breakfast was wonderful too. Even our cocktails were fabulous.

The location was absolutely perfect for taking a walk and enjoying the view. The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly, and the room was a decent size, though it was a bit tight for storing two pieces of medium-sized luggage. However, the breathtaking view more than made up for the lack of space. We had a breathtaking front ocean view, and we will definitely return. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant offered a lovely setting with a great view.

Cutest hotel and honestly a great location away from the hustle and bustle while still being convenient to walk to great restaurants, the beach, shops, etc just in a quieter area. The staff here were incredible!!! We love Giada and the other lady who welcomed us at reception (we didn’t get her name). Our server at breakfast every morning was so great too! My friend has a very severe nut allergy and he made her feel so safe about eating the complimentary breakfast there as he went and spoke with the chef to double check everything she ordered even if he already thought he knew the right answer. Our room ended up being more like a little villa with a separate entrance and seating area both inside and outside and it was absolutely beautiful. Comfortable bed, comfortable pillows, cleaning service was amazing. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Property has amazing views and staff. We went for a belated honeymoon and were greeted with pineapple juice and champagne in the room, which was a very thoughtful extra touch. Rooms were spacious with gorgeous views. We found that the rooms were not noise-insulated, so we could hear every word of conversations happening in the hallways, as well as people walking up and down stairs all throughout the night. The hot tub also didn't get very hot, which was unfortunate, since that was one of the big draws of the hotel, so we had a lukewarm dip. Maybe because of the restaurant downstairs (which is excellent and offers a great breakfast selection), we had a small ant infestation in our bathroom because of one of our scented lotions, which was a bit of a turnoff (bug phobia). Otherwise, the space was lovely, aside from the poor noise insulation. I would say that bed was a little creaky as well.

The view cannot be beat at this property at all, staff was friendly, and breakfast was nice, however our shower had a stench. When you are paying $900 a night, the hotel should be kept in top condition and frankly we are just tired of the 5 star prices and continually lacking service and conditions with the excuse of covid. The hotel offered us the shower across the hall but we were uninterested in toting back and forth so we just showered down using the bath tub handle.

The staff was terrific, from the concierge to the wonderful man working in the bar, providing breakfast services. The concierge gave a map with local highlights on it. The room was clean and aesthetically pleasing with an excellent view. Breakfast was very good and filling.

Our stay at the villa Gabriela was even better than we expected. We were surprised with an upgrade to a suite with a balcony and sea view. The room was impeccably clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was amazing! Breakfast was great. Highly recommend.

I’ve stayed at over 80 hotels in my life but this was my favorite by far! The receptionists were the sweetest ever. So helpful with everything from trying to help me find a football game on the TV, to booking a restaurant + shuttle and many other things. They were always smiling and felt genuine and warm. Breakfast was amazing. Much more fresh and clean than the usual buffet that other hotels usually offers. Also tastier with a great selection. The view was something I’ve dreamt of my entire life and it didn’t let me down. Breathetaking! Comfortable beds, clean rooms and modern bathrooms. I couldn’t ask for a better visit for my first trip to Positano.

Property has amazing views and staff. We went for a belated honeymoon and were greeted with pineapple juice and champagne in the room, which was a very thoughtful extra touch. Rooms were spacious with gorgeous views. We found that the rooms were not noise-insulated, so we could hear every word of conversations happening in the hallways, as well as people walking up and down stairs all throughout the night. The hot tub also didn't get very hot, which was unfortunate, since that was one of the big draws of the hotel, so we had a lukewarm dip. Maybe because of the restaurant downstairs (which is excellent and offers a great breakfast selection), we had a small ant infestation in our bathroom because of one of our scented lotions, which was a bit of a turnoff (bug phobia). Otherwise, the space was lovely, aside from the poor noise insulation. I would say that bed was a little creaky as well.

Customer service is top notch. Our room had the most fantastic view, and so does the breakfast area of the hotel, which was free. Highly recommend, if you want the most of your Positano experience, this is the hotel to pick.

We were given a room in the attic with low ceilings. Hit our heads. We were not told that this was the room we booked on Expedia. Our bookings were for a deluxe room. Avoid the attic rooms. If I had known about the size and location of this room, I would have got a different room.

Hotel is about 15-min walk from the center of Positano. We booked the honeymoon suite, which is very spacious with window and a terrace looking out on the water. It is a pure joy to wake up and pull the curtain each morning, looking at the beautiful view and hotel guests enjoying a lovely breakfast downstairs. Giada at front desk was very kind and helpful.

Our stay at Villa Gabrisa was too short, but we loved it. The remodeled room was exceptional, had an incredible view, and was huge. The standalone bathtub was a decadent touch. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Giada at the front desk was extremely helpful and responsive. The restaurant is fabulous and has a great view, so highly recommend for dinner as well. The only thing I would be careful with is that anybody with mobility issues should make sure their room is accessible by elevator. So happy we stayed at this wonderful hotel in Positano!

The hotel location is ideal, close enough to the town center, but also high on the hill to over great views - The front desk staff was AMAZING, so friendly and informative. Also, the restaurant was great - good food and great service. I definitely recommend getting breakfast included as it is a great start to the day and climbing all the steps!

We booked the Honeymoon suite 4 months prior and the room we were given was not the Honeymoon suite pictured on their website! Also at 9 pm I asked for 4 extra pillows as I am used to sleeping with a body pillow and the woman at the front desk said no! Stated they don’t have any! Also she was rude, both the woman at the front desk were unhelpful. Our waiter was terrific and the other young man very nice. But this was clearly a bait and switch with the Honeymoon suite, mind you we were paying 453 euros per night! Beware!

As part of the service they even supply you with a mobile phone if you wanted to make calls. Of course we didnt need it but it was something i have never seen before. The breakfast is lovely and the view whilst having it is spectacular. Only one critique is the location. To get to the bottom and back is a hike. There is a bus service but everyone is wanting to use the bus. If you have a good level of fitness then its ok but if you dont position may be to much.

My wife and I just spent three nights at the Villa Gabrisa and had an absolutely wonderful time there. Views are spectacular. Service was amazing from the moment we arrived including Giada at the front desk and the wait staff at their restaurant, which we recommend. Giada was tremendously helpful with helping us checkin, find our way around, directions, getting ferries, and early checkout and coordination with the local parking facility where our rental was parked. Our room was lovely, with a terrace and amazing views. Restaurant in the hotel was great, with great views from your table. Hotel location is walkable to the center of town and the beach, shopping, and restaurant. Important side note is that if you have a rental car, they can reserve space for you in a nearby parking garage, which was extremely helpful. Overall an amazing experience, we highly recommend.

Check-in was super smooth, and the Giada (Jade) at reception was was wonderful to deal with: friendly, welcoming and helpful. She is a wealth of information on Positano, suggesting dining options, etc. She is certainly a great asset for the hotel, and she made our stay that much more memorable. We gladly accepted our welcome beverage and she showed us to our room. The hotel itself is a small, intimate property with less than 10 rooms/suites (I believe). We booked the "Honeymoon Suite, 1 King Bed, Sea View" suite, and it was absolutely amazing. The suite was very spacious, had a separate bath and a double shower, and had a terrace with a breathtaking view. I\'ll repeat it: the view was breathtaking! The restaurant was closed for the low season, so we unfortunately didn\'t get a change to eat dinner at the restaurant -- that will have to be for our next visit! We did however enjoy the complementary breakfast the next morning, which consisted of a selection of coffee/tea, juice, eggs, bacon cold cuts, cheeses, bread, croissants, fruits, and other items, all of which you select the night before, along with what time you would like to eat. I would point out that the bar at the hotel was closed from around 4pm to 8pm, so we couldn\'t have a cocktail prior to going to into the town, though Jade was quick to offer to serve us a beer or some wine if we wanted. This was one of the best hotel experiences of my life. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, the inclusive breakfast was exceptional, the view and location was stunning, quiet, and convenient. The hotel is located a bit further up the mountain, which will require additional elevation to climb, but again, it adds to the beauty and quiet, but also forces you to navigate past several of the highest rated and recommended restaurants and cocktail bars. Positano exceeded expectations and this is in large part due to this hotel. We will be back!

Conveniently located with superb view of the ocean. Very friendly staff, and rooms and other common areas are very clean and nicely decorated. They have valet parking and a few spots in front of the hotel to unload your luggage. Very convenient for small streets of Positano. Short convenient walk to town center and beach.

My husband and I had a fabulous time here! We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed the clean rooms, pretty balconies, and modern lobby. Da Gabrisa is a phenomenal restaurant, and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back!!

The most amazing hotel, the staff are amazing and views are beautiful. Bed very comfortable and room was absolutely beautiful. We had breakfast and dinner with the restaurant and beyond delicious! This hotel is away from crazy tourists but close enough to walk into town center or down to the water. Note there are many stairs to do that but you can get the town bus or taxi easily.

Our stay at Hotel Gabrisa in Positano was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, the staff — and the owner — made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Their kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help with anything we needed made the entire experience unforgettable. The views were stunning, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the service was truly exceptional. Scott and I enjoyed every moment of our time here, and we’re already talking about coming back soon. Super good stay at Gabrisa, our flight was delayed on the day of arrival that ended up not getting us to the hotel at around 1am of the 1st night instead of 4pm, I did expect some sort of compensation or at least a price cut somewhere because technically we only stayed 2 nights instead of the 3 booked. But there was no mention of that on arrival and was still charged as booked. To give the benefit of the doubt a staff member waited until 1:30am to check us in. Other than that the room was superior and hospitality was good. Breakfast with a view was beautiful. Also get ready to do a lot of walking up and down stairs as this hotel is not close to the beach, and is usually a 20 minute walk to the beaches up and down vertical stairs.
