Friendly and helpful staff, very clean and spacious rooms, more than adequate parking, and a very decent breakfast. We stayed on the 4-5 of July and the price was even very reasonable. Great place and we will stay there again! Due to some new construction, the access road that the hotel is located on, is pretty torn up. So, it’s slow going but only for approximately 4-5 blocks. Once u get there, the place is great!

Very clean. Everyone is nice. My kids were bummed the pool was out of order. We had to stay last minute and paid a little more for this place rather than the other so they could swim. Other than that, it’s been great.

We booked the room because they had a pool. We traveled 1500 miles to find that their pool had been broke for a long time. We could have just gone home instead of driving out of our way just to stay here. We were not happy. The bed was worn down. Customer service was not great. We had stayed at 2 other hotels on our trip that were so much better then at lake Eufaula Best Western.

The evening front desk clerk was friendly, personable, and helpful to the group of guests that arrived at the same time as me; though they didn't have reservations, she was able to meet their special needs quickly. However, although I chose this hotel for the indoor pool, the pool was closed and had been for a week due to needed repairs, and I wasn't notified ahead of time, though I made the reservation well in advance.

This place is Methtacular! Do yourself a favor, book any one of a dozen options within 30 minutes to the west of here. First hint: the motel parking lot is strewn with trash that has obviously been there a while. Walking down the hallway was like walking through a cloud of weed smoke. As we walked the hall to our room we could hear the various parties, and fights going on in at least half of the rooms. The “Fitness Center” is a treadmill and two bikes. The treadmill works despite sounding like an injured animal when it is running. The breakfast, which the sign proclaims runs through 9:30, actually stops serving at 9:00. We got down there at 9:10 thinking we had 20 min left only to find that the cook had already washed the dishes and declared herself “done” by that time. Numerous other guests were left without food along with us. The front desk made it clear that breakfast ends when they feel like it ending- despite what any sign may say.

Older decor in need of a refreshment. Very good breakfast. Indoor pool was unusable: cold nasty green water. Front desk staff was nice. This is an ok property for the price however the pool condition should be an embarrassment to the owner.

There were huge spider webs with the spiders covering the pool area. Bettles in the hallway. Lizards everywhere. Pool was ice cold and FILTHY. The sofa bed was an inch thick and covered in rust from the springs. No blankets on bed on sheets. Vending machines and elevator buttons were out of order. Havllf the locked doors that require key cards were open as the locks were broke. Top floor and our window opened fully with no screen. Breakfast was limited and flavorless.

No vending machines worked, only first floor ice, chairs have ill fitted pull- on covers. Tried turnin on shower and faucet pulled out of wall. Unfolded bathmat and there were dirty footprints on it. Shower leaked all over floor with fabric shower curtain

The hotel could definitely use a good scub & new furniture in the lobby area. We also found a bedbug on the pillow just before going to sleep for the night. We reported it to the front desk attendant & she offered to move us to a double bed room instead of the king we were in. By this time is was almost 11pm & we had been on the motorcycle all day so I declined. Plus, what good does it do to move rooms other than spreading the bedbugs?? I wasn’t able to sleep that night except for spurts of 30 mins or so for a total of abt 2 hrs all night. The only good that came out of our stay was eating at Captain John’s!! My husband came out of the stay with at least 6 bites! I had to wrap our clothes in multiple trash bags, each tied separately, so we could continue our trip to Arkansas & find a laundry facility.

Room was adequate. Pillows flat even if you use 2. Towels were thinner and smaller than the Walmart towels I use to wash my dog. They were overall brown/dingy and stained. Shower curtain is not meant for the new curved shower curtain rods. Water goes everywhere and we had to use the pitiful towels just to wipe up the water from the floor so as not to get electrocuted by the hairdryer. The staff person did a good job putting the room together - you just don't provide a lot for her to work with. Breakfast was adequate - pretty decent choices for free/included in price of room. AC was good. Water pressure was good and plenty of hot water.

The staff was friendly but this best western doesn’t stand up to the others that we have stayed in the carpet in the room was dirty the ac was broke the television was not working and when it started it only got one channel. It was rather ran down and just not what we were expecting.

First room (204): "Can\'t adjust thermostat less than 68° or it will freeze the unit" Turned on the shower and it began filling the tub with dirty water Tv not working...had to reset the Direct tv box a few times Second room (230): "It\'s a room with a jetted tub but it doesn\'t work" and only one key available Patch-work behind the door not finished and paint chips on the floor. More unfinished work on the closet floor. Tv not working, desk clerk came in and reset and rebooted in front of us in our room for 10 minutes....and commented about the "unit will freeze if below 68°" rule The one and only key is no longer working and there is no hot water. Front desk clerk\'s first response about the key not working was to say "did you have it near a magnet?" And basically no comment regarding the lack of hot water. NO APOLOGIES AT ALL WERE GIVEN BY THE FRONT DESK FOR OUR INCONVENIENCES

My wife had booked this hotel as she usually does for a fishing trip using a third-party site. Now the room was fully paid for through the third-party site, but when I arrive, they told me that I needed to have the credit card that I booked with if not, they were gonna charge me on my card the amount of the hotel. I’ve never had this happen before and mind you I didn’t book in until after 3 AM because I’m a truck driver coming from Arkansas, so I was already tired and frustrated. It took us over an hour arguing back-and-forth with the guy at the counter about him not charging me anything because it was already paid for so no I will never do business with this hotel again

Great place for overnight stay on journey back east. A bit of a ways off I40 but we’ll worth the drive. Very quite and near the lake. Dining was close by and plenty of choices.

The hotel was clean. Dated but kept very nice. The room were clean. 100 degree weather and the AC was fantastic. Rates were lower but you get more than what you pay for. Odd location and road under construction would be my only complaint.

The owner of this property is cheap. Hot water is turned down to save money. Coffee pot in room did not work. Breakfast so bad a dog wouldn’t eat it.

Lots of road noise from the hwy. The facilities need refreshing. Service for the Continental breakfast was great until the last day of my stay. Then, I saw a note that there where nobiscits and gravy and the egg pan was empty.
