They were in the process of remodeling. Noisy in the early am. Otherwise a nice place. Extremely clean. Breakfast was better than most. Hot food. Pancake maker, biscuits, gravy, two different sausages, potatoes.

We were aware that the building was being renovated. But, the 1st thing we saw when walking into the room was in the bathroom, there was mold ringing the toilet. That night, we noticed a small black bug walking on the stand between the 2 beds. We killed it. Then, noticed a dead roach in the corner of the molding to the bathroom door. The following morning while waiting to leave for the funeral, another black bug was seen climbing up the right side of the comforter on the bed nearest the heat pump. We didn't report these things. We just left.

Areas of my room and bathroom were not properly cleaned upon my arrival. On the last day of my stay I found a bedbug on one unused bed in my double bed room. I notified the front desk upon my departure and also sent an email to the hotel manager. I did not receive a return response from the hotel manager. I hope these unacceptable conditions are resolved for future patrons.

Could not reach the front desk for needed towels and clogged toilet. Had to walk down to front desk. Front desk not super helpful with the toilet request. She asked me to track down housekeeping when I saw them (this is after I couldn't reach them using room phone, and personal cell, and had to walk down 3 flights of stairs to make the request). Seems like front desk was short handed and unable to offer quality customer service. Housekeeping was very friendly and happy to assist. Room cleanliness ok. Hair on floor and in shower (yuck). Dirty wall next to bed where kids had put dirty feet while laying in the bed. Corners of room and bathroom dusty/hairy. Looks like they do bare minimum clean in between guests, not a thorough cleaning job of room or bathroom. Housekeeping only brought two towels into room each day, even though we book as room with 4 people. Had to track down more towels multiple times. It was an ok stay, nothing horrible, but nothing exceptional.

There was no hot or even warm water for my shower this morning ! There was hot water in the sink. I told the front desk & they offered for me to shower in another room. By that time I was dressed & ready to leave. Very disappointing.

The property has newly renovated rooms which were great. But the wall unit HVAC was horrible it was noisy as heck. Also the carpet was removed fantastic but you can hear foot traffic nuisance noise like a baby rhinos running wild in your room. The free breakfast fantastic and the staff awesome.

The only issue that I had with the stay was that the internet would not connect to the TV therefor I ended up using all my personal cellular hotspot during my 3 days stay. Other than that, the breakfast and accommodations were great. The staff was very friendly.

Jet bathtub, jets dirty as heck. Also The next morning housekeeping begin knocking on our room door at 8:30 then came back at 9:30 then again at 10:30. Hell we’re not leaving till 11. You’ve already cheated us out of a half a day meaning checking in at 3pm then out 11am the next day is definitely not 24hrs…. So why in the hell ya keep knocking on our damn door so early and every hour on the hour?

So after moving three times, we landed in the room that was most clean. The bathroom had mold and our room was not serviced after we informed the cleaning supervisor of the time we would be out. We came back after a family member’s funeral to a room with trash, unmade beds and the bathroom not touched. The front desk staff was very nice, but that was not enough to make up these conditions. I’m still waiting for the manager to call me! This may have been the best WALLACE had, but it was not good. I really want my money back. I could have stayed somewhere else for this level of service cheaper. NEVER AGAIN!

Seems to have lost a step from the Holiday Inn Express branding. It was ok but nothing special except the breakfast which was unexpectedly good. The staff is still very good and location is great if you’re playing golf at River Landing.
