We had problems from the minute we arrived. Firstly, we hadn’t noticed upon booking that bedding/towels had to be ordered and were a paid extra. The apartment was clean and tidy, but we noticed immediately that the skirting boards were visibly & badly rotted in several areas and there was no WI-FI although this was advertised as being available in every apartment. I complained about the WI-FI, but was told it was “kaput” and they had no idea when it would be repaired (it was finally repaired on our last day there). There were other problems too….one of the only 2 elevators was out of order for 3 days and the pool closed for 2 due to a faulty filter. The 2 guys on reception were friendly but spoke very little English and I am afraid my French is no better so it was VERY difficult to communicate e.g. I was given a short questionnaire when arriving and thought I had been told to hand in as we left, turns out we had 24 hours to hand it in or they wouldn’t accept any complaints. We have been travelling to Les Sable d’olonne/La Chaume on and off for about 20 years and this is by far the worst accommodation we have stayed in….Overall VERY disappointing

It‘s a 2 star residence, a little worn off and in need of redecoration, but clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially if you make an effort to speak French. The location is perfect for the 2 minute ferry (navette bus) that will take you across the channell to the beach (it will save you a 30 minute walk). There us a very big supermarket across the road with amazing fresh produce especially fish and seafood. Some restaurants nearby too (table reservation a must). We were there for a sport event that started very early so the residence was perfect for us. The swimming pool was a bonus in 35c temperatures

The property is well located and that will be my only positive comment. You can take your room only at 5 PM and you have to vacate by 10 am! I was scolded because i arrived too early at 3.30PM. I didn't have soap, shower gel nor shampoo. The bed was not done. It's a glorified apartment not an hotel. There is a gated and secured parking lot. Second positive element.
