Arrived 5:10pm, Thursday. Was notified that pool was closed due to rain. Was no longer raining when we got there (sun’s out ) but then was told next that pool hours are from 10am-6pm. That is such a short time frame. Lady making omelets Friday morning was not pleasant at all. Got there 8:55 and she right away put up the sign that the station closes at 9am and that’s it. Wouldn’t even look up. Rude. Next day she was manning the dining room and as usual she looked like she did not want to be there.Wont greet guests, wont smile and when I asked about the omelette station she said tersely that its not open on Sat & Sun and sounded/appeared annoyed. She is not at all happy working there and she conveyed a message that she doesn’t want to be bothered . Maybe she should just work in the linen department and not be around guests.

The location was good for our visit. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Although there were renovations going on it was relatively quiet. The spa was not working but the pool was fine. The breakfast staff and food were excellent.

Bar and food service was the worst I’ve ever experienced. It wasn’t just bad due to service knowledge but an active disdain for customers and the job. Ignored customers and had to search out our own drinks, refills. Even then we had to ask him multiple times for drinks or refills before he would respond. He just stood there on his phone ignoring everyone. All the customers just kept looking at each other trying to get his attention.

Check in was at 4, we were told at 4:08 that our room was not ready (along with many other people) and to come back at 4:45. At 5pm, room still not ready. We were told it was because the hotel was fully booked the night before so they couldn’t clean the rooms in time. So, they’re saying the hotel is not functioning properly. I have never experienced this in my life. Room finally ready at 6pm. No offer of something like water bottles or a snack ir anything else as an apology. The worst part was how rude the front desk guy was about all of this. Made us feel like we were the problem! Clearly he was not trained to handle this situation. The main elevators are broken so we had to walk sooo far to get to our room. No sign of them being fixed anytime soon. Bartender was very pleasant.

The breakfast was great. The grounds were pretty. The room was nice. I did not like the pillows on the bed. They are too soft. The biggest area of complaint was around the pool. Apparently the hotel allow people to purchase day passes to the hotel pool. The pool is not big enough for the outside people to take over. They were loud and in the way.

I’ve stayed many times and have never been disappointed. The only disappointment this time was that the restaurant is only open a few nights a week now. I counted on being able to eat after arrival but couldn’t this time . I also wish breakfast lasted later than 9am.

Hyatt house was a good experience. There were a couple of things that I didn’t appreciate. One was I was assigned to a room in a busy area on the second floor. So the first day I woke up at 5 AM to the sound of a truck right outside my room That stayed for 45 minutes while they unloaded food and supplies. When I went to the workout room, the peloton elliptical next to the window made noises although it function properly. The first time I went to that Hyatt house was a better experience. I had a better room assignment. Everything was quiet and the fitness room worked fabulously so I know they can do better.

Liked front desk staff & bartender. Very disappointed that they sell day passes to the small pool. No chairs or towels were available - tons of kids and some foul-mouthed adults!! No supervision by hotel staff. Really surprising. All I wanted was to sit outside in the late afternoon and swim a little to decompress but this policy made it impossible.

Sub par hotel. The room was in rough shape. Walls very thin, you could hear everything from your neighbors to the side up and down. Lots of defects in the kitchen and bathroom. Air vents all dirty and covered with mold.

Checking in was smooth and nice welcome from the front desk whent to the room, right away i smelled it mold and nasty old room carpet sheets stain, we were 4 people and only 1 hand towel and 3 big towels! Shower covers so dirty nasty yellow stain. The sink water took forever to drain, couldn’t brush my teeth! Dust in the cabinets and closet. Blankets old and worn out. I called for to change our sheets and bring extra towels NO one came in. I was supose to sleep 3 nights I just couldn’t stay in that nasty room so I left. No one wanted to even try to help us. Alvin Roswell front manager still waiting to hear from him! I just asked to refund the night I didn’t stay and had to go somewhere else.

The sink in my room was dirty and the ice maker wasn’t working. I hate the “limited” housekeeping and consumers to request towels and linen. The breakfast area and bar could use some updating. The same food items are served, some other dining options would be nice. Having a in room safe would be nice.

I had such a hard time with the staff before check in. Long hair in the bathroom. Entire floor smelled like marijuana. Elevators were filthy. Burn stains on the carpet. Bug in the drawer.

Room is a bit cramped, but workable. Since there is a pool at this property, there’s lots of kids in the summer running around being really noisy. My hotel room had a connecting door next door, which means the room number on my room was exactly the same as the room next door, just with a “D” after it, which meant I had kids knocking on my door all day and night, accidentally thinking it was their parents room. Very annoying. They should renumber the rooms to prevent this issue.

Always a great stay. Suite was spacious and very clean. Love the price for the room amenities like full size fridge and stove. The dishwasher was a nice extra. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Our room was large and comfortable. The hotel has so many lovely amenities: an outdoor fire ring with comfortable furniture, a pickleball court, a swimming pool and a bar serving cocktails, beer and wine in the late afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful staff. Clean hotel. Good room. No A/c -maintenance saying coldest you can make the room is 75 degrees. Did not sleep well at all. No Wifi - could not work and respond to important work related emergency. Hotel said won't be fixed till Monday. Someone should give me a refund for the stay whether Expedia or Hyatt House.

Not so great. Stayed in a 1 BR suite. kitchen was very inconveniently structured. air conditioning was much to loud and blows directly on you causing me to wake up with a cold the next day. the ceilings are very low and almost impossible to avoid the direct forced air blowing directly on you. cabinets set too low making the kitchen sink very awkward to use. just not a comfortable stay at all

Not safe to stay. My female employee had to check out early due to not feeling safe after the front desk didn't check her in properly 2 days prior, so they claimed housekeeping and security went to check on a "dirty" room to be able to sell only to open the door overnight while she was sleeping, "good thing the deadbolt was latched" and when they were unable to get it, left the door cracked. The front desk manager gave her an attitude about it the next morning and when I called to follow up once alerted was given the same attitude. Do not stay here. Stay far away.

The location is perfect, not too close but not too far from downtown white plains. Breakfast options could be better, same items everyday. The front door (lobby) staff is amazing. Mr. Willie R , is perfect for the job. He’s friendly, down to earth and very personable as well as professional.

The service I received did not satisfy the quality of service The Hyatt claims to give to its customers. My room was NOT cleaned and when I addressed the front desk about the issue they showed no type of interest in resolving the problem. In fact they did not fix it. Since room service didn’t come in we had no towels, no tissues, no toilet paper and all the trash accumulated from the night before. Front desk lady said she was sending towels to my room and she never sent them. I again mentioned it at checkout in the morning and all the receptionist said was “sorry.” It was my first and will be my last time staying here. I will also make sure to tell my friends and family not to stay at any Hyatt and that they can find better service elsewhere.

I had such a good experience for a 6 week length of time! Roland, Emelio, and Willy were amazingly helpful and courtious at the front desk! 100 stars for them! Cleaning staff was great! ALL of my needs wer accomidated including maintence and technical support! Highly recommend!!!

Very comfortable. Convenient location, breakfast better than most. Lots of washers/dryers. Being able to close bedroom door meant know D's could sleep on pull out sofa without listening to adults snore. Kitchen in room with fridge super helpful for our 3 day stay. Very close to Wegmans for all the snacks.

Great location and spacious rooms… The halls smelled like burnt pot which I guess is common these days… the elevator could give a contact high…. I mentioned there was a party in the hotel and the attendant up front laughed….the breakfast was disappointing with a hard stop at 9 am. They actually close the doors at 8:59 and work to prevent entry…the attendants appeared disinterested in the guests’ satisfaction, for example, oatmeal was empty at 8:40 and when I asked if there was more, the attendant said “no, it’s almost over” and walked away. She then told me to “take all the pictures you want.” I don’t think she likes her job very much… I attached the photo😉

Rooms nicely presented. We stayed here 3 times over a 3 week period. The first and last stays had very comfortable beds. The second stay we got unlucky - beds were uncomfortable, toilet faulty, and had to get maintenance in to fix this, which they did. Best to have a car when uou stay here, but Wegmans is a very large supermarket that is a short walk if you need it. Only complaint is that the breakfast room is very cramped, and there can be queues when it is busy - particilarly for the toasters (there were 2).

Convenient to HPN airport and The Capitol Theater. Also easy to drive to w ample parking. Stff was very nice. Rooms clean and well equipped. Did not like the quality of my hamburger

It was a nice hotel, I wish they had the restaurant open on Sunday. Or at least informed me on Expedia that the restaurant would not be open on Sunday. The bar itself was open, but they weren’t serving food.
