We chose this hotel as we could bring out 2 dogs. The hotel is very dog friendly with areas that you can eat and socialise with your dog as well as great dog friendly rooms. Our room had lots of space and was very comfortable for us all. Perfect position right in the town but also a right by the beach. Parking was very easy, the buffet breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will certainly consider staying here again.

We had booked for 1 night in Ocean Sands but Enniscrone so beautiful & thankfully there was availability in the B&B next door where we could avail of the ocean Sands facilities so we checked in for a 2nd night.. Family gathering but unfortunately 2 couples with very tired & young children didn't get into their rooms till 6pm following an afternoon on the beach ... Overall, v welcoming hotel,couldn't fault our stay & will definitely be back there. Dog friendly which was a decider for some families.

This was our 3 Rd time to stay in The Ocean Sands. It is very centrally located in Enniscrone. the staff are always friendly. Our room was excellent. There is good underground parking also. It is a great family oriented hotel

We were in town to visit family. We had two rooms for two nights and both were very clean and quiet. The restaurant was very convenient and accommodating. We were able to comfortably visit with family that came by in the lobby, ordered drinks and snacks. Wish we had known you need reservations for dinner in town for Saturday night - everywhere including the Ocean Sands restaurant was booked solid so we had take out pizza from across the street (which was very fresh and tasty). The hotel was jumping after midnight with live music, great atmosphere. My local relatives said 1/2 the crowd were locals and half Irish from out of town. We had a great stay and were happy to see how nice this beach town has become having not been back to Inniscrone in over 20 years.

Hotel is perfectly placed for the beach and exploring. Dinner in the restaurant was great and breakfast was brilliant with lots of variety. Staff were really helpful. Family room was really spacious and a comfortable quiet sleep. Beautiful hotel, however if you look too close, you'll see some parts could really do with a little bit of tlc. Overall a fabulous hotel.

When we arrived, the heat wasn’t working in the room and no one knew how to run it. We figured it out but then periodically it didn’t work. Bathroom was not the cleanest. Had to ask them to clean the room - the day they did clean it, all they did was pull the comforter up (crookedly) and leave some towels. They didn’t clean our glasses or coffee cups or leave more coffee. Wouldn't stay there again.

The staff are very pleasant, the lobby and restaurant are nice, however once you get to your room it’s clear the property needs some deep cleaning and/or renovation. All in all not bad, just a bit steep in price for the quality of the room.

We had one of the apartments with a balcony detached from the actual hotel and up a flight of stairs. Room was tastefully decorated and bathroom was amazing but needed balcony repairs, replacing dead plants in window boxes and walls in bedroom had a lot of scuffs and high window was filthy with cobwebs. Bed comfortable but provided with an oil filled radiator didn’t make sense as temp gauge on wall? Nice touches like nespresso machine and mini fridge (which is noisy) but be prepared for no WiFi connection as we tried for entire stay and never got connected . Other thing to be careful with if a function on these apartments can’t hide from the noise and there was a lot last night so always pre check before booking

We were so excited to stay at ocean sands and we got there after check in time and had to wait almost 30 minutes for our room. The staff was not friendly at the front desk or at breakfast. We booked an ocean view room and ocean view was a stretch. You could see the sand on the beach and if you stood on the corner of the balcony and leaned over you could barely see the ocean. The resort does not look anything like the photos. Our room was not clean, the shower was not clean, and we were in bed and a HUGE spider crawled down the curtains. I was ready to pack my stuff up and leave at that point. Also, breakfast was just terrible. I didn’t end up eating anything. Super disappointed in this hotel. 1000% would never stay there again.

We had a lovely stay at the ocean sands hotel. We're a family of five and the kids really enjoy they're stay, we only stayed one night but would of loved to stay longer. Location is gorgeous, hotel is right next to the beach so excellent for little ones. Had dinner in the restaurant which was stunning, prices were great for the quality of food we were served. My only negative is that our room was fairly cold when we arrived but it warmed up quick enough once we put on the heaters. Lovely hotel staff in all areas. Id definitely recommend a stay here.

We were in the garden room and could hear noise from room upstairs and doors closing and opening as our room was ground floor . I had not realised the layout of the hotel , would not pick garden rooms again

I became very sick during my visit. I most likely had food poisoning. I am a physician. I had terrible nausea and vomiting. I left the room in very good condition except for the vomit. The hotel charged me an exorbitant cleaning penalty. Sometines people get sick. That's the reality of being in the hospitaity business. I find this to be unethical and reflecting poor values.

Wir sind absolut enttäuscht. Sehr unfreundliches oft muffiges Personal. Kein Ambiente, absolut renovierungsbedürftig, sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Katastrophes Frühstück. Hotel good and staff very efficient and welcoming. Room fairly standard. Iron iron board hairdryer etc but no shaver/makeup mirror. Towels replaced but empty water bottles not removed or bed made. Window blind damaged did not use in case further damaged. Evening meal excellent. Breakfast also very good but tea/coffee and plate clearance could be quicker. Overall a good experience

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and the views were phenomenal. There were not a lot of dining options but the ones there were good! A quaint area worth visiting!

The Ocean Sands, hotel, is in a great location, right, in the heart of Inniscrone. The views, over the beach, are great, it has a lovely bar and restaurant.

This was our 3 Rd time to stay in The Ocean Sands. It is very centrally located in Enniscrone. the staff are always friendly. Our room was excellent. There is good underground parking also. It is a great family oriented hotel

Hotel is perfectly placed for the beach and exploring. Dinner in the restaurant was great and breakfast was brilliant with lots of variety. Staff were really helpful. Family room was really spacious and a comfortable quiet sleep. Beautiful hotel, however if you look too close, you'll see some parts could really do with a little bit of tlc. Overall a fabulous hotel.

We were so excited to stay at ocean sands and we got there after check in time and had to wait almost 30 minutes for our room. The staff was not friendly at the front desk or at breakfast. We booked an ocean view room and ocean view was a stretch. You could see the sand on the beach and if you stood on the corner of the balcony and leaned over you could barely see the ocean. The resort does not look anything like the photos. Our room was not clean, the shower was not clean, and we were in bed and a HUGE spider crawled down the curtains. I was ready to pack my stuff up and leave at that point. Also, breakfast was just terrible. I didn’t end up eating anything. Super disappointed in this hotel. 1000% would never stay there again.

We were in town to visit family. We had two rooms for two nights and both were very clean and quiet. The restaurant was very convenient and accommodating. We were able to comfortably visit with family that came by in the lobby, ordered drinks and snacks. Wish we had known you need reservations for dinner in town for Saturday night - everywhere including the Ocean Sands restaurant was booked solid so we had take out pizza from across the street (which was very fresh and tasty). The hotel was jumping after midnight with live music, great atmosphere. My local relatives said 1/2 the crowd were locals and half Irish from out of town. We had a great stay and were happy to see how nice this beach town has become having not been back to Inniscrone in over 20 years.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was helpful and kind. There were beautiful views of the beach. It was in walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and a coastal walking trail. The breakfasts and dinners were great at the hotel also. We loved our stay there.
