Rodeway Inn & Suites Rehoboth Beach

Staff was very nice, complimentary breakfast was basic mini muffins, toast, bagels and cold cereal, coffee, tea and juice. Food station and eating area was small but clean. Pool was small but offered a lot of seating. However, the surface inside the pool was rough even the side walls, my daughter scraped her toe when she bumped into it. The family suite was spacious but there was a strong smell of urine along the walkway way to our room. Inside the room the furniture was very old , faded and peeling even the mini refrigerator. All the Lamp shades had large visible stains, lighting was very dim. Pull out sofa had what looked like dried up food spill on it that someone just flipped the cushion over instead of cleaning it. Chunky looking food stains on carpet in front of sofa. Bed was extremely uncomfortable, I could feel the old mattress springs. Pillow was very flat, with no extra ones around I had to fold it in half so not to get a crick in my neck. Dirt on the sheets I had to brush off of all of the beds including the pull out sofa. It looked like someone sat something on it that was dirty and didn't wipe it off. Bathroom was clean except the tub. It looked like a bathfitter tub that they could no longer scrub clean. It squeaked when you stepped into it. No extra towels, wash cloths or linen. Staff did provide extra towels upon request, however when booking a family suite for 4 people I at least expected 4 towels and 4 wash cloths to start off with.

The pool was the best part of the hotel. Mold in the bathroom , dirty carpet that turned your feet black. Room smelled terrible from first day till we left.

Room was sub par… fridge was old and kinda moldy. Mold on bathroom ceiling. Key cards kept not working and had to get new ones numerous times. Pool needs cleaned, pool vacuum- hair, bugs floating in pool. Room was ok otherwise, i understand it’s not a luxury hotel and price is cheaper. Investing in pool vacuum and running it nightly would be sanitary.

Staff is great; building/room poorly maintained with shoddy repairs; pool closes too early on weekdays. Carpet smelled and housekeeping did their best to fix the issue. Location is difficult to exit due to voluminous traffic.

Relaxed chill staff, clean room and great pool

This place is a great deal, close to all outlets stores and restaurants, has a good pool, 8 minute drive from the beach, the continental breakfast was refreshed often and was simple but good for the kids and helped save a few dollars. The room was A little rough around the edges but was very big and good sized bathroom compared to most other places I’ve been to. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Would recommend to anyone with children or just trying to stay somewhere decent for an amazing price.

Plenty of parking

Staff is amazing! I had 2 bedrooms 1 bath and kitchen. The rooms were clean. You can only clean so much when the rooms are rundown. Overall the hotel is rundown. They have seen better days. The room was musty and the smell got in my CPAP machine. There was mold under sink cabinets and on top of fridge. Pool was nice but has a rough floor.

My recent stay at this motel was far from satisfactory. Despite the website's claim of a fitness center, no such facility exists. The staff, who seemed to live on-site, were responsive, which was a rare positive aspect. However, cleanliness was a significant issue. The room had a strong odor of cigarette smoke, and every surface wiped with a cleaning wipe came back filthy. The bathroom had ample mold. Free breakfast was On a slightly positive note, the AC worked surprisingly well. Ultimately, this motel served merely as a crash pad, and I would not choose to stay here again.

The first room I was given had bedbugs. There was also no help to move to another room, I had to pay another guest to help me move my luggage with my granddaughter. Good location but certainly wouldn't recommend this place.

This property is a death trap. In our room the smoke detector had tape over it and we had flying ants in the bathroom sink. If there was a fire in our room the smoke detector can't go off. Outside there were additional 4 by 4's connected to the poles holding the second floor deck up. Lot of renovation going on. We don't recommend the Rodeway Inn and suites to anyone. Please stay away. This place is a dump.

was really dirty the pull out couch had dirty sheets on them & crumbs. One the pillows on the bed had blood on it . The second room they moved us to smelled like urine and had bugs. Finally got a normal room but was told we couldn’t use one of the beds which was fine but just weird. Darron was cool helped a lot. Shoutout Darron.

Everything was dirty and stained

The room was not clean. The bed had marks on it and then the sheets were dirty when we got the "clean ones" I had to layer them with other ones to even feel clean. I was itching all night. The blankets were very thin. The shower was very dirty the walls had marks on it that almost looked like blood. the outlet behind the bed didnt work. I mean I guess you can say you get what you pay for .I should fight for my money back to be honest

Old and Rusty. Broken things, a stained floor, and a refrigerator from 1980. Molds everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE!

From check in to check out. The experience was horrible. Front desk was not friendly or knowledgeable. Room was disgustingly dirty. Walls, carpet, bathroom, windows seemed like they haven’t been thoroughly cleaned in decades. The AC didn’t work. See photos. This place needs a major overhaul.

The room was in absolutely terrible condition. Rug was dirty, bathroom tub had black dirt/scum, toilet ran all night, no hot water, no stopper in sink, mold on ceiling, wallpaper ripped or hole in ceiling ( couldn’t quite tell). Light by front door didn’t work. I didn’t use the shower. Just checked out in morning. I want to save someone from staying here. Coffee maker but no cups. Vending machine out of order. If I had kids with me we would have left. This place should be torn down.

The room smelled like they used to be smoking room. The bathroom floor was filthy. The bath tub was so stained and gross. There was mold on the ceiling and corners of the tub. Smoke detector was removed form the room & there were no plates on electrical outlets. The door that separates the 2 rooms was broken & cracked. The room security latch was broken.

These pictures are so deceptive. We stayed in a room that had two separate sleeping areas, one bathroom, and a kitchen area (fridge, sink, microwave, coffee maker). The room smelled like mildew and mold. We were only there for two nights and my asthmatic daughter had a reaction to all the mold. The bathroom was beyond gross, so much mold and mildew on the ceiling that is was peeling off. The whole room, and everything in it, felt damp. If we were planning on staying in the area any longer, I would have moved hotels and requested a refund for the poor conditions. We kept our shoes or socks on the whole time because the rug was gross and damp. Very disappointed.

3rd time here. First 2 times our stay was good but rooms were dated. Our room this time was recently updated with new floors and paint. Excellent place to stay for the value.

There was water stains on ceiling, sheets had stains on them, bathtub was creaking so bad felt like the floor was going to cave in. We had a smoking room and the carpet was badly stained with cigarette burns. We specifically ordered a room with sleep sofa that the didn't give us said we only ordered 2 beds. Bottom of refrigerator looked like its been in a fire and the door looked like it was shout up

We have stayed here twice now. The first time, the carpet was so filthy that our socks were black from dirt! This time we brought our handheld vacuum and it barely helped. The hotel is in poor condition, with doorknobs coming off, dirty shower, fridge from 1980, no dining room table in the suite (but had 3 chairs where the table should be), and fuzzy tv picture. If you don’t mind all of that for a few nights, it’s not bad. The pool is well maintained and the bigger suites all have a good sized private patio. It’s about a 5 minute drive to the boardwalk.

The continental breakfast they have was never open on time. Two days in a row I had to ask the front desk person if it was open. The first day I was told to walk to the hotel next to us to get breakfast. They had to call someone both days to open up the breakfast area almost a whole hour later. My stay was for 3 nights but I ended up checking out the second day. When I returned my room keys and said I was checking out early, they took the keys and didn’t even ask why. When I got home I called the guest relations number to complain and they told me it still showed me checked in even after I left. Never again will I stay at this place.

Great value for what you get. Good size rooms/suites and great staff!

Upon arrival we were all very tired from a traffic filled 4 hr ride. We were eager to check in and get to our room. We finished up grabbed our key cards and got into our car to head to the building. We open the door and it’s filled with paint and construction materials. It was obviously uninhabitable. So we head back to get a net key card. We repeat the process for a new room. The keys aren’t activated. Back to the front office but third time was the charm. We finally got to our room. We kept our shoes on the entire time. Except when I forgot and stepped onto the rug after a shower. Gross that carpet felt wet and it wasn’t. My brand new sandals were black on the bottom after walking in the room. We were also greeted by a used Dunkin’ coffee cup which I should have offered my brother. In his room he was left with only decaffeinated coffee and a coffee ma CNN one that was used and never cleaned or replaced from the previous guest. There we’re piles of old dirty towels underneath the bathroom sink. And a hole and writing on the front door. The Wi-Fi didn’t work and the front desk person advised me several others had made complaints but there was nothing that could be done with it. Overall pretty bad guest experience.

Our key cards didn’t open the door. The front desk made us wait in the heat for maintenance to come when all he had to do was give us new key cards. Then when I pulled out the sofa bed there were fresh dirt stains in the sheets and the blanket and fresh grape jelly all over it. Called front desk for new linens, they called maintenance to bring it, which I had to make the bed. As we were going to bed around 11pm the people downstairs started blasting music, screaming, laughing and jumping around. Called the front desk and they said maintenance would take care of it. It took over an hour for them to even go to the room to talk to them. I don’t blame maintenance, because he was busy doing maintenance things, I blame the front desk people, because they literally would not do anything. I stayed here before and it wasn’t bad at all, but this time was the Most horrible stay ever.

On arrival the room was too warm -- 76 degrees. I pushed the down button -- no change in temp. Picked up the phone to tell front desk -- phone was broke. Went to front desk -- saw sign to go to motel next door. Grrr. (A/C was too complicated -- had to push "mode" to change temp.)

At check in the on site person was rude. The bathroom seemed dirty. For 5 people there were 3 towels and had to ask for more. The continental breakfast was literally bread and cereal.

Staff was super kind and friendly. They were able to help me get a refund for one of the nights because we had to leave our trip early. Rooms were super clean although there was a slight smell of smoke. Furniture in the rooms was old and paint on the walls in the room and bathroom is chipping. Carpet was also kind of gross but the beds were clean and well made. There was also a ridiculous amount of flies everywhere. We would kill one and then three more would appear. But overall pretty great quality for the price we paid. And great location as well.

Check-in was a bit hectic since a lot of people arrived right at 3 PM and the rooms weren’t quite ready yet. I’d recommend updating the check-in time on the website to 4 PM to help set better expectations. That said, the room was super clean and well-organized. Everything was easy to find if needed. The kids had a blast in the pool, and my husband really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast! I accidentally left behind a brand-new set of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and wasn’t able to get in touch with the front desk to pick it up… but hey, enjoy it, lol! Overall, we’d definitely stay again!

It was very roomy and easy for our 2 family trip. It was great having 2 separate bedrooms and a kitchen especially with having 2 small children. The location was great. Very close to the outlets and surrounding restaurants. Not very far from the beach as well.

The hotel is a budget-friendly place, so you can expect that it needs some renovations. Our houseman was very pleasant and helpful. The location is wonderful!

The hotel was in a great location. Right on the main stretch and easy access to most of the Delaware beaches. Hotel itself however could definitely use an upgrade. Baseboard was peeling from the wall, carpet was so old it had a sticky feeling to it. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were flat, terrible and limited. We stayed in one of the suites so the size was nice. A separate bedroom with two beds, plus a living space with two beds and a small kitchen area. The service/customer service was terrible. Our room was booked for 7 people. When we checked in there were no towels in the entire room. They did give us some when asked. But we had to constantly ask if we wanted/needed anything. We stayed for 4 nights. Room service came to our room once the entire time we were checked in. She made 3 or the 4 beds and removed a bag of trash. (We took trash bags with us which was good because the only trash can supplied was the small one in the bathroom) That was the only room service we received. Couldn't even call the front desk because the phones in our rooms didn't work. We had to keep sending our teenage kids to the office for towels, toilet paper, trash bags, etc. Also, the included breakfast was very limited. Bagels, English muffins, and mini muffins plus juice/coffee were all that was offered all 4 days. Would have been nice to have a variety and maybe some yogurt or fresh fruit. The room itself was ok for what we paid. Service was overall terrible.

This is a good hotel if you want a cheap stay near the beaches in Delaware. Free breakfast was a nice perk too. But don’t expect anything other than carbs in the buffet. Our room was clean and spacious but smelled like an ashtray (even though it was a non-smoking room). Beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was in need of a makeover as the ceiling was peeling, there was mold around the outside of the shower and under the vanity was leaking. All in all you get what you pay for. For $70 CAD per night this was a clean bedroom at a good price (especially when you include the cost of breakfast) for a couple days on the beach.

Disappointing, shares "continental breakfast" with neighboring hotel and there was no fruit, out of date packaged food. Beds were terrible, staff encountered were not friendly, just overall a disappointing experience at this establishment.

Overall very clean and spacious stay. Free breakfast consisted of bagels,toast,muffins ,juice ,coffe and cereal and was in another motel next door.

I booked last minute and paid VERY high price per night. The hotel is run down, tiles failing off wall in bathroom, furniture is VERY old scratchedup and worn, several light bulbs were burnt out BUT the room was clean and we had a small service dog with us they allowed us to stay. The place is right in the middle of the outlets and tons of restaurants. Short 5-10 min drive to beaches. I wouldnt stay again but it was clean. Many many bicycles locked up around hotel. Assume young seasonal workers must stay on property. The pool was nice but always crowded. Breakfast was offered but just basic food: cereal, bagel, muffins and coffee. Only one ice machine for all guests.

Breakfast was not what i was expecting bagels, muffins and cereal but milk left out on counter no ice or anything. The rooms really outdated, need repairs paint chipping, walls need a cleaning and new paint. Tub all scratched up, clear shower nozzle looked like it had mildew under it, tube drain rusted. When we checked the person that checked us in seemed like he was mad and didnt want ro be there.

Toilet seat had leftover hairs when we arrived. mold above shower, no transition strip from carpet to tile in bathroom with sharp carpet tacks sticking up. Bathroom door knob was loose. At one point the exterior room door was not locking shut. Two towels for 3 people checking in, right on track twice at the pool the towel rack was empty. Continental breakfast was a joke. Empty utensils, empty milk, and empty options even going within 30min of breakfast opening. Would not recommend.
