Parking was well lit and safe

Clean, quiet, convenient, nice pool. Only improvement would be cable TV working. Could only plug in devices to use. Otherwise, great, inexpensive place to stay.

Great short stay. Super clean property and rooms spotless. Bathroom a bit dated but clean. Pool was good size and clean - lots of chairs. Near grocery, fast food and right off highway. Great value!

The proximity to all things San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, and more was perfect for our two-day stay, and the property was cute and clean with an excellent pool and relaxing vibe.

Extremely clean to my surprise. Fridge and microwave was a plus. Poor tv channel options and I was unable to to use the HDMI on the tv.

Plenty of parking quick check in. Room was clean strong shower pressure instant hot water. Only coffee and tea in lobby for breakfast. Big clean pool with plenty of seating. Shopping and dining options available drivable near by.

I liked the dog relief area and pet friendly atmosphere

We stayed at this motel end of July. When we got back to our home I noticed bites but thought they were mosquito bites.after a while I searched our luggage bags that we used for the weekend and found dead bed bugs. This is super upsetting

Was a budget hotel and it showed. Wasn’t that clean. There was hair all over the bathroom wall, bathroom door, and bathtub Floor didn’t look very clean. Bed pillows not Comfy

Service was good, the room could have been cleaned a little better, had spider webs in a few areas, cockroach eggs in plain sight, plus had a lizard crawl in our room, due to not having a guard or cover plate on the bottom of the door, thankfully we didn’t get a visit from something bigger like a snake, since the room was close to an undeveloped area.

Clean room, smelled freshly cleaned. Comfortable bed!

the front staff were okay, not overly warm or welcoming. the room was clean, but in the morning I found a cockroach on my bag, alive. The grounds and pool were clean and overall I would have given it a higher rating, but the cockroach was too much.

Another great stay. As usual there is always staff cleaning and taking care of the grounds. All so pleasant. Room and pool were clean as expected. Even though they allow pets, not once have I ever noticed any odors inside or out. Thanks again for a great stay. See you again next time!

The room had a smell of mildew (hope it wasn't mold). And the bathroom is in need of repairs.

Clean and quiet.

My experience was poor. My husband and I recently visited my son at SLO and decided to stay at this Motel 6 two nights. The property and are were nice and clean. Unfortunately I woke up several times by itchiness, at first I blamed been outside in the backyard and few mosquitos and didn’t think of anything, however, on my last night I woke up again several times feeling itchy and also notices a new bite on my right upper arm, I decided to check my bed with my phone light very carefully at 5am and that’s when I noticed the smallest tiniest bed bug crawling on the white sheets, and it was red, probably all the blood it sucked from me. I immediately notified the staff at the front and brought him back to my room to physically showed him. He gave me another room with double bed, since I was very tired from waking up two night in a row we stayed trying to rest until check out time 11am. The hotel it self seems clean and in a nice are and the staff was helpful. But I did encounter a bad experience and I don't think I will stay here again. The staff was kind enough to say they will refund only the night that I complained which was the last night I stayed there. If you decide to stay here, make sure you check very carefully with your phone light because this bed bug was very, very small but very much alive and ready to suck your blood!!

Bathroom wasn’t very clean. Vent had dust all over and hanging down from it. The floor tiles were filthy. Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain.

A very comfortable, clean, small and well-thought out minimalist furnished room. There are accessible wall chargers at bedside table height. The bed is comfortable enough to sleep well through the night. The room has a clean faux wood linoleum floor. There is a well placed inset corner chair and semi-circle table to maximize use of space. There is a mid-size tv on the wall in a useful frame with shelf for keys, etc. The tiny soap bars are gentle enough to use. The bath towels are small. There are no shampoo/conditioner samples or shower cap so bring your own. There is no in-room coffee maker of any size. They do have lobby coffee at 6am but if your room is far away from the lobby or you need to leave before 6am you are on your own. The in-room coffee lack is the only zonk I'd give. I understand their business model is to provide clean efficient bare bones amenities in order to offer a lower price. I'd stay there again and bring my own instant as they do have a clean little microwave and refrigerator. It has a very nice landscaped court with pool and appears to be pet-friendly. The front desk representatives are kind, cheerful, professional and dress nicely. Props for everyone who works there and for whomever is responsible for providing a nice property.

Decent place to stay in the price range. Easy to park and the room was clean. The only downside was that the walls are pretty thin and it did get a kind of loud at night because we could hear the rooms next to us.

Clean room, convenient to freeway and shopping. Overall it was good, would stay again. The only thing missing in the room was a hair dryer.

Smallest Motel 6 room I’ve ever stayed in. Thin walls, you can hear every bump, thump and footstep. One of the pillows smelled like urine. The sink faucet handle was jammed against the small shelf above it so you had to force it open. Bed felt cheap and uncomfortable. Staff was friendly.

It was fine. It was nice for a Motel 6. Happy there was a microwave and refrigerator. The sink isn't in the bathroom, which is yucky. The carts in the morning are noisy on the ground floor. Late check out is usually only extended to 30 minutes. Nice place in the hotel circle next door to The Courtyard Marriott.

Newer Motel 6 with a nice grassy area and pool in a quiet corner off the freeway. It's not in the downtown area - so nice if you want to avoid to avoid the crowds there (as we did for graduation weekend). The beds are a little hard and if you want to be warmer - ask for an extra blanket. No closet or dresser but a handy hanging wall thingy for clothes and shelf below for shoes or other stuff. It wasn't a super fancy location but clean and convenient for the pricey graduation weekend in SLO (they do increase their prices like everyone else that weekend so it wasn't a great deal, but it was less than other hotels in town!).

It was a good stay. The room was clan and neat. The bathroom was clean and the everything worked well. The free WIFI is slow but dependable. Faster WIFI is available at extra charge. The furniture was not very comfortable, but the bed was. There was coffee in the office in the morning and it was very good. The room did have a refrigerator and microwave, and both worked. Another added benefit is that pets stay free. There were also areas for dogs with doggy bag dispensers.

Overall, the room was spacious, clean and didn't have any odors. The room had a TV but no signals for basic channels or cable. No shampoo was offered in the shower. The pillow was kind of flat. Otherwise, the stay was OK.

Good value though small rooms, good availability of facilities, and clean. However, there is no insulation in the walls, the pipes run through the walls, and there is no weather stripping on the door, so you can hear everything all night long (every time someone in a neighboring room runs the tap it wakes you up). Also the pillows are pretty uncomfortable. I would say, if you have to stay here, be sure to bring earplugs.

Room was fine, staff are nice and friendly.the motel could use a better cable provider or package deal . Hard to find out with poor guide what is on . They must have Bought the cheapest cable package deal and used the worse cable provider.

No staff at desk for hours in middle of the night. No phones answered. Dssk left unattended with office open and unlocked.

Staff and management are very rude and degrading. I purchased 3 rooms and one of them smelled like mildew after the A/C unit was turned on and left running while we were out. I reported the issue to the front desk when I returned and discovered the issue and was repeatedly asked what I meant by the woman at the front desk. She offered no resolution or assistance with the matter. I finally asked if the room could be switched for another and after several exchanges it was finally done. The receptionist contacted who I assume was the manager while I was switching rooms and he questioned me about the room. He shushed me repeatedly and claimed there was nothing wrong with the room. Will never stay here again.

The person who checked me in was very unfriendly, barely spoke at all!

It’s a motel 6. I be wasn’t expecting much. Just the bare minimum. Very noisy night. Paper this walls. Difficult to sleep. Needed a shower and there was no hot water. Asked for some money off the room. Staff was rude and unhelpful. I Feel ripped off. Cannot recommend this place.

We had to leave early due to a family emergency and they were very understanding and accommodating. When we checked in initially, they were super welcoming and helpful.

Need to work on late night communication during checkin very difficult to understand what the check in girl was saying . It was after midnight so they were using a remote system.

Checking in was quick and easy , everyone that I had the pleasure of talking with was super friendly . The young lady in the morning Diana is definitely perfect for her job , it's so nice to see someone so bright and smiley and as happy as she is at 7am ! She definitely made me feel very welcome.

The customer service was exceptional at check-in and check-out. The room was clean and comfortable and affordable. I will be staying here again.

Although the room was very simple, it was comfortable enough and clean. It was close to the freeway, shopping and restaurants. I would stay here again if the price was right.

So my family an I stayed because my daughter was moving into the dorms. We were only 10-15 minutes away. We parked super close to our room where we can see our car. Local Restaurants near by.

Loved our stay at THIS property. Price was good ( would love lower) and reservations were a breeze. Stayed two nites. Liked having refrigerator & microwave in room but always wish there were in room coffeemakers but bring my own. Had two cocker spaniels with me & plenty of green space for them, including complimentary cleanup bags. Only wish the beds were a bit softer, better soap and far better toilet paper (which seems to be a franchise problem). As a smoker, i am ok with the no smoking policy but wish a bench were available in smoking location including ashtray.

I appreciated how clean the the room was. Even under a UV light, there was very little residue showing up. It was in places you would expect, but also that you'd expect to be cleaned better. Light switches, the TV remote and telephone. My biggest complaint is that there is no coffee maker in the room. Yes, there is coffee available 24/7 in the lobby of the office, but I'd much rather make my own coffee in my room (I bought a small coffee machine for just such an occasion}

Affordable. Conveniently located by car to town, Cal Poly and the airport. No restaurants within walking distance. Dogs barking and left unattended in rooms.

Easy check in through this app. Room was outdated, small, barely any channels on the tv. Only thing they offered for breakfast was coffee. If you are just looking to sleep and take a shower this was the place.

I stayed two nights. Clean room. Would have liked coffee in the room, felt very basic. Staff were helpful on front desk. Other guests had vehicles with very loud exhausts which caused a lot of noise but that's not the fault of the hotel.

The good: good location, enough parking. The bad: poor lighting in the room. Breakfast doesn't exist, it's just a cup of coffee.

The property is in a good location that is convenient. It'd be nice have breakfast available at the property.
