The check in process was smooth and welcoming. There was plenty of room to park. The room was as expected for a Motel. The upsides were it was sizable, clean (except for the AC unit vent which clearly isn't on housekeepings to-do list to keep clean) and had a nice little seating area and small table. I would have wished for better pillows, microwave/small fridge - and a better AC unit (though I realize that isn't likely possible). The one toiletry provided is a thin bar of soap - so make sure you bring everything else. All that said, it was good for the price and I look forward to coming back.

Motel 6 has definitely upgraded!! Room was clean! Floors weren’t dirty or spotty! No bugs no nothing! Water pressure didn’t make my skin all dried out like it use too. Soaps in room were hydrating finally! lol. Definitely like this Motel 6 location. Outside of building is beautiful! Didn’t get in pool but it was clean and easy accessible. Motel 6 is definitely winning in the allow your pets to stay free policy!

Convenient location. Tons of contractors stay there but they are pretty quiet as they crash out early. The cleanliness also depends on the guests; they sometimes overflow the garbage cans with trash, some guests don't pick up their dog's messes. Front desk staff pretty nice. It's not a fancy place, but I sleep well there. Prices are good. Denny's, Burger King are close by...motel has coffee in the lobby which is nice, too. There is some auto facility next door which can get noisy if you stay on that side of motel. Floors/walls are thin. Wish they had security cameras outside or staff checking the area for safety but I suppose that would impact price. I like it there though. I stay there on most of my visits. Staff is kind.

It was not bad although I saw some giant cockroaches outside running around at night that gave me the creeps. But other than that the stay wasn’t bad. I was a little disappointed that the pool was closed. And one of the nights the sprinklers were left on for hoursss. I remember seeing them turn on around 8-10 pm and when I took my dog out to use the restroom at 3am the parking lot was flooded as were the planter beds where the sprinklers were located.

The hotel is undergoing renovations. There was no WiFi No laundry. No ice machine. The bed was the worst bed in the history of mattresses. The staff however, were very nice. But if I had to do it over again I would not have stayed there.

Where do I begin. When I checked in, the front desk was not so friendly. I was given a room Only to find out I was downgraded , I payed extra for a refrigerator and a microwave. The room didn’t have one. I took it. The following day I went to the front desk to ask for the right booked room I payed for. I was given a different room with refrigerator, microwave and cockroaches 😡 I declined the new room and stayed in the room Given at first. It wasn’t until the third day I came to the room and found a refrigerator and a microwave. They didn’t want to refund me for the extra cost and the microwave was filthy. Didn’t even use it. I will not come back to this place again.

Oh my goodness. The room I got was 308. That room had cat urine smell. I was so tired that I didn't want to change my room. Anyway, I had a car freshener that helped me for the night and benadryl. Totally disgusting smell .

First of all its in a not so good neighborhood. When we arrived there were room with broken windows, broken doors, lots of garbage, etc. We checked in, room was dirty, the shower was COVERED with what looked like crusty soap and lots of hairs. Absolutely disgusting. We left out to eat at about 10pm and back at midnight. Couldn't sleep at ALL. They keep every single light on everywhere and rooms stay very bright even with the curtains fully closed. We had other tenants that would walk by and try to look into the room the whole night. Didnt get any sleep at all and left super early, didnt feel safe. Would not stay here again. Wish i could get my money back, it was horrible

The location is pretty central with decent choice of fast food within walking distance. The room was clean; however, the rooms were listed as non-smoking but had a strong smell of smoke. The bathroom also had an odd odor to it and I had to keep the door closed most of the stay. The walls are thin as others have said, but my neighbor was considerate with TV noise once it was later at night. The walking noise can be loud, but that's to be expected. I appreciated that the whole facility was very well lit at night, but this did affect the light leaking into the room even with the shades drawn. Pet friendly was also a plus and has a couple pet relief areas; a small one in the front and a larger area in the back. Overall, it's a decent budget friendly motel, with good location if you are visiting friends and family close by.

The property is under construction and the ground are generally dirty. The WiFi was broken. The room smelled bad and the AC was noisy and inefficient. There was no soap or shampoo in the bathroom. This is an economy property so I would not expect much frills on a good day. This was far below acceptable.

I just needed a cheap clean place to crash after a long flight. I don't mind the sparse amenities, but I was hoping for better temperature control and at least one heavy blanket. The room felt very clinical and I did not feel very comfortable. The bed mattress was not firm in my lower back hurt after I woke up.

This place is barebones. Staff is nice and room was clean. Biggest issue is floodlights facing inner courtyard that seem to come on at 11:30. Room goes from dark to you can see yourself in mirror. So eyeshades is a must. Also limited amenities — no microwave, coffee maker or even electric kettle.

Rooms are super tiny. Smells of some strong fragrance upon arrival. Front desk staff are unfriendly with no personality, speak super fast and don’t want to repeat them selves when asked. WiFi is guest unsecure and sucks. Shower is tall people unfriendly. One washcloth for a two person room. Overall just a bad experience. Stay elsewhere if at all possible

Hotel lobby personnel are not very welcoming. Rooms are very basic and a bit small. The bed is pushed up almost touching the ac. I called and spoke to someone about a late check out, which I was told would be 12. So then later that same day I went to the lobby to let them know that I would be leaving at 12. My check out date came up and starting at 11 housekeeping came to my door 3 times. Around 1130 I started taking things to my car. When I came back for more things my key was already deactivated. I went to the lobby, the person there told me that I had to go the morning of the late check out to let them know to have the key functioning. I dont understand if you need to go there in the morning, what is the point then of resting in your room a little longer before you leave. Anyways, communication within the lobby personnel was not the best.

Please do not make a reservation and expect it to be honored. No matter if you have the reservation number, date the reservation which was made four months in advance, picture of the reservation details and amount paid; your reservation will not be honored and you will be forced to sleep in your car for the first night of a MAJOR CONFERENCE IN SAN JOSE. The clerk will be higher-than-high, incoherent, incompetent, and unwilling to complete or understand simple tasks to include issuing keys for the two rooms that were already reserved stating that he only has one room available…but then asking if you would like a room on the second or third floor. When questioned regarding the availability of two rooms (which were reserved), he then decides they’re unavailable and will not provide ANY ACCOMMODATION. Anywhere but here. Barbed wire along the fence…cherry on top!

Only tea/coffee in the morning. When they ran out of hot water half an hour early, they didn’t refill it. I asked not to have the room cleaned because scents set off my asthma. They didn’t comply, so I had to change rooms. They didn’t have a chip reader, so I had to log in as a third party to use my credit card. Some staff didn’t speak adequate English. Didn’t understand me, nor did I understand them. The actual room was fine. The tv went blank a number of times.

As long as you realize this is what it says it is in it's name, a Motel, not a Hotel, it is exactly what you expect. This one is a pretty large complex, with 2 stories and many rooms, a large carpark lot, and in a great Sunnyvale Location near the 101 Freeway and a lot of Silicon Valley Tech companies. So if you are a Tech Bro with a back pack on a budget, and you have graduated from hostels to your own unit with privacy, this is perfect for you. If you are a privileged Karen looking for Hotel quality and service for less than a Benjamin Franklin a night, quit dreaming, wake up and smell the coffee!

The neighborhood was not so safe, a lot of homeless people around and the room faced out. We didn’t have any problems at night with theft. The room upgrades were nice like the flooring, but our mattresses and extra blankets were disgusting.

I wasn't feeling safe being alone in the hotel. One reason is the car being so far away from the rooms. It didn't look like a safe area to leave your car. It was safe once I was in the room and felt safe in the room but I was concerned about the car being a far. Unfortunately me staying there that night. Had a neighbor who was washing the TV extremely loud and yelling a lot was just coming through the walls. Staff was awesome! Price is awesome. The room was awesome! It was just the location of the car where you keep it for parking didn't look safe

It’s sad to say but it was the homeless people that made me feel very uncomfortable I know it was not you guys fault but that was a big issue!

Convenient location. Tons of contractors stay there but they are pretty quiet as they crash out early. The cleanliness also depends on the guests; they sometimes overflow the garbage cans with trash, some guests don't pick up their dog's messes. Front desk staff pretty nice. It's not a fancy place, but I sleep well there. Prices are good. Denny's, Burger King are close by...motel has coffee in the lobby which is nice, too. There is some auto facility next door which can get noisy if you stay on that side of motel. Floors/walls are thin. Wish they had security cameras outside or staff checking the area for safety but I suppose that would impact price. I like it there though. I stay there on most of my visits. Staff is kind.

Pros: The property is a beautiful older building that has been decently restored. Cons: Rooms were hard to find due to lack of signage. Lots of noise from the neighbors, a team of lineman who took up most of the parking with their trucks. No breakfast.

I left some items in the room when i checked out. I called them 2 days later and they said they would look and call me back. They didnt. I call AGAIN 2 days later and the desk said they "found some stuff" and I could come the next day "in the morning" ??? I travelled20 mile to pick thing up and then was told they didnt have anything. Some of what i left was med8cine. Shocks me they dont catalog and hhave a storage room for stuff lt behind.

The room 332 the toilet doesn't have any water pressure so it did'nt flush right. When driving the neighborhood there are lots of RVs and trailers parked along the side of the roads but surprisingly I didnt see many homeless people walking around. It was surprisingly quite. I can't complain about our stay at all. It got the job done.

We found a roach in the bathroom. There was a smell when we got inside. I turned the AC/fan on to help with circulation but the smell stayed or even got worse. I know the smell stayed because I didn’t smell anything in the shower but upon leaving the bathroom, you could smell it again. I also didn’t appreciate that they only had soap, no shampoo or conditioner. Only stayed a night so didn’t bother asking staff for any. The bed was sagging pretty badly. Hardly slept.
