I didn’t have a problem with almost everything but something happened that made me not like my stay. I came in with three suitcases and I had booked a floor on the first floor but when I got there, I couldn’t get that so I said fine, a top floor is fine. I have to bring those three heavy suitcases up to the room by myself, I was up and down the stairs three times and each time I had to reopen the door. Same thing happened when I was supposed to leave. No one even offered to help me. Very disappointed.

Check in was easy. The guy at the front desk was respectful and helpful when asked questions. The room was clean and had a good ac unit which kept the room nice and cool. We only had one minor issue which was having to hold the flush button on toliet until toliet flushed all the way down. The parking lot was well lit and had no concens over safety during stay. Overall, it was a good experience and will most likely stay here again.

There was no breakfast as advertised. The website said $60 and was charged $90. No elevator. Was skechy as soon as we walked into the lobby.

Decent place to stay. Staff was pleasant, building and room clean. Larger refrigerator than what I was expecting. 2 floors, but there is no elevator in the building that guests can use, FYI.

Clean room, hot breakfast and plenty of it. Friendly staff. The only downside was the elevator was broken and we had to walk the stairs with our luggage. All in all was a good stay

Had to pay extra to have a room on main floor as they don’t have elevator. Had no safe way for someone with oxygen to get to second floor. As walking up and down stairs with oxygen is unsafe. Has to put $50 security deposit which wasn’t noted during booking. Tried to say I didn’t put one down because I paid cash. Which I had my receipt for it. Then tried to say someone was smoking in the room which no one was. Bed was also uncomfortable. Do not recommend staying here

Easy to park and easy to go out !!

Started off with the stuff not being able to find our reservation, there are no elevators and the place stunk so bad including the fridge like rotten eggs! Oh and the air conditioner was broke too

It had a really bad smell the toilet leaked i had to pay a 50$ deposit that still hasnt gone back to my card

The 100 deposit is completely unnecessary!! I paid 80 for this damn room, I coulda gone to Red roof inn for 20 less and NO holding fee. The person at check in was suggesting that I couldn’t afford to stay here and refused a refund when it’s totally within their capacity. Expedia was no help either, couldn’t even offer a credit to another room. When we got up in the room finally it was dirty and there was trash in the trash can and hair in the tub!

Sheets were dirty the toilet you had to mess with to flush all the way. Room needed some tlc. I would not stay there again

The condition was not attractive, felt very dirty. Rooms were fair. Do not recommend.

Basic room. Nothing fancy. Room was clean and the area was nice. You are getting what you pay for here. Staff was friendly and a food odor in hallway. No serious complaints so I would stay here again.

I was initially given a room that was already occupied. The rooms are not very clean. There is mold in the shower.

Was given a room over Exit 2nd fl., (rear bldg) when people entered or exited all night the door would slam and vibrate the walls in the room. Not much sleep for the night. The rm was very hot when ckd in & it took the "noisy " air conditioner about 2 hrs to cool down. Went to close curtains in evening and noticed 2 uniform police officers putting a man in handcuffs down below at the Exit door.

The room was pretty nice for a budget hotel I have to admit. The bed was very comfortable too! The guy that checked me in at night was very pleasant and even though he was a bit hard to understand with his accent. Plus, I was a bit tired, so that probably didn’t help any. The spout in the shower needs to be fixed too but that wasn’t a big deal. I’d say a 4/5!

The bed was so uncomfortable that neither my husband nor I could sleep. People were sitting in the hallway outside our door. No coffee in the rooms. People were yelling at 1:00 in the morning. It was a terrible night for us.

Can hear through the ceiling and walls. Screaming kids in the hallway. People up all night above me. A/C wouldn't run for more than a minute. Sont know why i stayed certainly didnt get to sleep. Person at desk had to be reminded to return change when over paying with cash.

I stayed here for a class and booked due to the price and location. The hotel is close to the airport so that is convenient. The staff was friendly. Overall, the room was clean. However, I was not able to control any of the airflow or temperature in my room. The air conditioner/heating unit was broken. The outlets for plugging in phones and devices did not work. Although there was a desk, there were no outlets to plug my laptop into, which was not good for my trip since I was working remote. Pros: convenient, clean, friendly Cons: very small bathroom, no outlets at desk, no temperature control, very firm bed Okay for the price but not sure I would stay again.

I work midnights. Sleep during the day. The blackout curtains blocked nothing. The day people kept yelling at me "what room" Any time i left for coffee or phone conversations. If you can avoid the staff the rooms are clean and beds were comfortable.

The place was very clean and an excellent deal for the money. The TV blocked local channels, which made it hard since we were in the middle of a major snow storm and trying to figure out current conditions. Mainly though, the light blocking currents had a large gap at the top. Since our room was next to the parking lot, we had bright lights pouring in all night long, which made it very hard to sleep. I tried to cover the gap with towels, but it didn't work.

Great option for when you're on a budget. Staff was nice and helpfull, bed comfortable, shower had good waterpressure. No complains. Older building and nothing fancy but good choice for the price.

The heat didn’t work in my room, until the next day when I checked out. I asked the front desk for help and was told “it just works”. There were cricket hairs all wound up a couple of the towels. The pillows smelled liked sweat. The tile floors were nice until the people above my room were partying all night with shoes on. No sound barrier wall to wall. I could hear my neighbors on the bed next to my room and a baby to the other side. If you’re looking for sleep, get a priced hotel. The price was great and it matched the quality. P.S. don’t look under the bed.

Good friendly staff

Good location, close to airport, freeway, and downtown.

As indicated above property was clean, safe and there were dining and shopping options nearby within walkable distance. The property was affordable as well. The staff was friendly and respectful.

Well-maintained and tidy. Budget properties sometimes look neglected, but the management is making a nice effort. Two bottles of water and a package of cookies were waiting in our room.

I never seen illegal activity going on at this place, its pretty quiet. The location is very convenient with food, shopping, and much more are walking distance to just a few miles away. They offer coffee every morning from the lobby. Also they have a washer amd and dryer for you to use anytime thats convenient for you.

reat location not far from downtown GR, very clean room ( we were impressed since so many reviews talk negatively) outside of the building is a bit dated but it’s kept up, halls were clean , bed was comfortable, there was a microwave in the room and a refrigerator. Sundance restaurant is 1 mile away. Great place to get breakfast. lobby was abit on the heavy smell of dope but its a typical Michigan smell in most hotels in this State so it was to be expected. That was the only place it could be smelt. We’d stay here again

It may look a bit “iffy” on the outside but the rooms were very clean and overall it was a fine stay. The nearby restaurant open late was a huge bonus

This place cleaned up a LOT over the past 5-6 years. This used to be the town dump! Big kuddos to the new ownership. Could do better with coffee station though

For the cost, it guess you get what you pay for. The staff was friendly and professional. They required a $50 security fee which was refunded after they inspected my room when checking out. No problem with refund, just never have had to pay a security fee at a hotel before and checking my room before refunding my money felt weird, like they were suspicious of me. Also, no in room coffee which surprised me and helped to make my stay very unpleasant. I requested an accessible room and got one equipped with a shower chair which was great. But then realized they had a fixed shower head when there should have been a hand held one. Made bathing my disabled son difficult because I had to use a small drinking cup to rinse him off. Very frustrating. Also, in my room, the sink area was separate from the shower/toilet area. That made it difficult for the one person to get ready at the sink while the other slept in. The room was clean but the bed and pillows were uncomfortable and I woke up with a headache. For the price, I guess it was okay, but I will not return and will pay more somewhere else for better comfort.

Ill make a google review so i can post pictures for proof. The ONLY positive thing was the nice front desk agent. No elevator and steps with holes in them so you trip going up the stairway wide enough for one person at a time. no pool, a paper sign taped over where it used to say breakfast hours that says no breakfast even though on here it said there was; no coffee, tea, soaps nothing in the rooms. The pictures DO NOT match the rooms. the beds are horrible hard, you get two completely flat pillows, the tv had cheap service so no sort of family friendly channels (nick disney cartoon abc nothing) and was MUCH older than in photos so pixelated and widescreen so the small tv shows a smaller picture. The bed frame was literally falling apart (also have photos) they cut a hole for the tissues and didnt fill it so i could put my entire arm inside the wall from around the tissue box. (also have pictures) You do not get a change or extra towels. we had two people for three days and had one towel per person that whole time if you want to EXCHANGE you can go to the front desk during specific hours they do not clean rooms replace towels or sheets but every three days so if youre not alone bring your own garbage bags theres only one small can to use. (also have a photo of the sign proving this) have to reconnect to wifi regularly it just signs you out randomly. vending was cool but cash only so we didnt use them. 50$ incidental fee that takes 2 business weeks to return. more on google

Multiple hairs on the sheets, sheets felt like they werent even cleaned. Basic room for one night but for the price not worth it. Bed was not comfortable, staff unfriendly and just coffee served in the morning. Only thing good is convenient location to most stores and highway. Would not recommend or stay again.

Most everything has been updated which is very nice. It’s overall quite stale and no coffee in the rooms. All in all though it was a good value and I would stay again.
