AC broken. Slept with the windows open and was still hot. When checking in someone else was complaining of their thermostat not working.

Aufenthalt am 1 Nacht

My stay had pros and cons. When I checked in, the first staff member seemed confused when I asked about a room with a tub (even if I had to wait). He kept consulting others, so I said I would wait for someone else to help. A 2nd man helped but spoke to me in a patronizing way, saying I was “coming in hot acting like the staff person could not help.” At the same time, I was dealing with being cut in line while approaching the desk. I remained calm and never spoke rudely—just requested to speak to someone else (which I am allowed to do). After I explained my perspective, the 2nd man softened and told me a room with a tub would definitely be available in about 45 minutes. I came back about an hour later and got my room. Beforehand, front desk debated on calling housekeeping to confirm it was ready. A 3rd man, Dom said, “Keesha is gona have an attitude but we have more of a right to have an attitude cuz we’ve been waiting.” He then called housekeeping and was told it was ready but also to wait. He said “We are gona assume it’s ready” 1hr later, as I was bathing, two men banged on my door scaring me and demanding to enter due to reports of a flood below Dom told me to request a room change via the app I booked with, but I told him I didn’t have time to do that because I had an event to get to within minutes. I was then told he would change my room but there would be no tub. The new room had no privacy sign, and the hot water faucet did not work. It is a bummer how I was treated.

The parking is not great. You have to pay to park in the hotel lot (valet is an option for the same price), but the hotel lot is far from the actual hotel itself. Parking on the street for free is an option but the parking spaces are very limited as another Hilton hotel is located in the same area and shares the same parking situation. Our mini fridge wasn't cleaned upon check in, little hairs were inside of the fridge. Myself and some friends stayed here on a trip to see a concert which was located near by, the bathroom situation is not ideal for a friend's trip. The door to the bathroom is a sliding door, and from outside of the bathroom you can hear everything going on in the bathroom. The sliding door has fogged glass, which is awkward for a trip with friends. There is no fan in the bathroom. We needed a small light at night incase anyone needed to go to the bathroom and the light from the bathroom was so bright because of the door being a slider and not fully shutting & the fogged glass which made it hard to sleep. We had a room with double beds and two adults had to share, it was a very small bed for two people.

The hotel is tired and worn. Updates are needed on all bathrooms, flooring, walls and lighting. My room was no thoroughly cleaned and food, makeup and other items were splattered on walls and wood work. Amenities were watered down, 2- tissues, zero bottles of water which I paid a required fee for, and only 1 paper cup! I will not me staying here again.

Aufenthalt am 4 Nächte

I checked in to the hotel and was told my lock wasn’t working. I checked out four days later and it still wasn’t working. Despite a promise to fix it on day one from engineering. I’m not sure housekeeping knew my room was occupied. The trash was not emptied on any day of my visit. By day four, dinner from day one was rancid. My linens were never changed - not once - given I was not feeling well - that wasn’t cool - bc having the cold sweats at night meant the sheets needed to be changed. My dirty towels were never picked up and fresh ones only appeared bc the security person who had to be called to let me into my room was kind enough to bring me some at midnight. I stopped at the store and bought toilet tissue bc I was afraid of running out - bc my stomach was upset - I couldn’t count on the hotel for even that minimal level of service. The night staff did come up with a comb on day 3 - after my second request. TBH - the night staff were great, sympathetic and helpful. The day staff - I don’t know what went wrong. I have done 100 nights in hotels this past year in seven countries. This was the worst four nights. The hotel offered to comp the nights or give me points. The GM was supposed to contact me. Still waiting waiting. A hotel stay should not be a country western song.
