Extended Stay America Suites - Fort Worth - Fossil Creek

When we first arrived and checked in, we noticed an odor in the hotel and when we got to our room, the odor was so horrible that the smell literally gotten in our clothes and we literally stank when we come out of there even after a shower, the stink was so bad the towels even had the odor from the room in them so when you dried off you stunk even worse!!! Also me and my wife got accosted in the parking lot when we come back to the hotel from visiting relatives and the guy was asking us for money and got upset when we told him we didn’t carry cash when we went inside and told the staff the front desk clerk about it he asked us where? we told him, the guy costed us out here in front in your driveway just right in front of the doors And he goes where and we pointed to another customer getting accosted in front of the doors of the hotel They just didn’t care they didn’t go out there and stop the guy. They didn’t ask the guy to leave the property nothing the guy had barely any clothes on. he stunk and kept pulling his pants up, cause they kept falling down so we knew there was something wrong with him.

We where put in a room that was above the washer and dryer the whole room vibrated and was told we couldn't be moved to a different room we we're very disappointed with the hotel

Went to Texas for the USA National Karate tournament. First reason for renting here was the kitchen and second was the breakfast. Well needless to say we got none. Breakfast consisted of coffee and sometimes a muffin no garantees. The kitchen in the room had nothing, no pots, jo plates not silverware or coffee pot. We were told to ask for them and if available they would give to us. Well they were never available. The room was dirty, smelled bad and had roaches everywhere. They came on our 2nd day there to fumigate and everything was sprayed all over the floor leaving it sticky. No room service other then every 5 days. You have to take your own trash out. Parking lot is dark and people are always sitting in their cars. Elevator never stopped at the 2nd floor so we had to go up to come back down. Staff was very rude. I got there an hour before check in and was told 3pm sharp, after traveling all day with a child that was not what i wanted. Hallways are dark and smell. Doors barely closed right. My son and i felt so unsafe the entire time we were there. Rooms are dark. My drapes were always wet no idea why. AC unit was held by 2x4s and when i asked the front desk she said oh yeah they are all like that. Terrible.

I was surprised to see the room i was staying in. I felt like i was is a one bedroom apartment. It was something different i have ever stayed in. My daughter and grandson loved it. We was just there for a night but we loved it. One thing i would change is the parking lot so it can open up to the hotel next door. Why, I said that my youngest daughter and her cheer team was next door at Spring Hill suites. I had to get on the side road and drive all around to get back on Fossil creek to get back to were she was to have breakfast with them before they get on the bus to leave. We was all there for a Cheerleader Competition. Other than that I love it.

The deposit of $100 cash is something people need to know before arriving to check in. After traveling for 7 hours and getting your bags out of the car, the last thing you want to do is put your stuff back in your car and try to go find someplace that will allow you to get $100 cash back. Also, my nonsmoking room reeked of cigarettes and even had ashes on the counter. The one thing that I can’t complain about is the friendly staff. The hotel is in rough shape and really needs a renovation.

On the phone I was told my room had been downgraded from two queen beds to a studio with a pull out couch. Upon arrival I was informed that I would only be receiving one queen bed and no pull out. There was an enormous roach just outside the elevator. And the breakfast is a joke. Never again.

No no no! Crack house hotel? Not safe. Paid for it, saw the room, the people coming and going, and went to Hyatt place for the night. Well worth the money for a good nights sleep.

Finally, when we got to our room I started gathering my kids to get ready for bed and I was making them a pallet on the floor (that’s what they asked for.) when I noticed how dirty this room was. There was dust & “crumbs” everywhere. Random hairs from previous guests, under the beds had not been cleaned in idk how long. We chose not to stay there and get a refund. The following day we were still charged. When I called the hotel, the “supervisor “ MERTLE, I spoke to was very rude. Interrupted me when I spoke & even ended the phone call on me. She claimed the room was clean and was slept it. When I tried explaining that it was NOT slept in, we had just started getting ready for bed (seeing as we got there very late that night.) when I noticed everything is when she was interrupting me the entire time just telling me to call back on Monday and then she ended the phone call on me. I called back and I told her I did not appreciate that and asked to speak to someone else or give me the customer service number for the hotel chain. She said she did not have that information. All together, this experience was awful, and they were very rude. I also want to add, there are cracks in the walls everywhere & the flooring dips in several spots through the ENTIRE hotel as if it’s from water damage and the floor is rotted.

It was horrible. Sofa couch was nasty, wouldnt let my kids sleep on it, matress was brown. The whole place smelled of weed. Mold and just dirty. Worst experience on my life ever with a hotel.

Bedbugs ate up my leg staying just 1 night

Horrible. They had bed bugs when I asked to switch rooms they told me no. Although I told them about the bugs. They wouldn’t give my deposit back because I complained about the bugs

First room was reeking with some smell. probably someone smoked there. Changed to The second room but the carpet was old and dirty. Was smelling. While sleeping on the bed I was getting itches on the skin. Booked for 2 days but left just after 1 day.

At check the guy was rude didnt know what he was doing. Got to the room Floors were soft and wavy. Came accrossed some roaches. Toilet moved when you sat on it.

Great mattress, nice big bath towel, spacious room and mostly good stay.

the place is ok except we reserved a room that has a sofa which is the picture when we make a reservation but it not given to us

Because I complained my 1st night there about my room not being what I booked & how dirty it was even though the morning person said I'll make it right they cancelled my 2nd reservation with no notice saying I can't stay there anymore well ya know what stay far from this place it's garbage! I will never stay there again & will warn everyone stay away

The housekeepers either need to be retrained or fired. I asked them beforehand if the room had been serviced cause of the reviews. She said yes. I get to the room checked the sheets and they were covered in hair. The second bed fleece was covered in dog hair. No one had changed thebsheets they.just made the bed. The floor in the bathroom was filthy with dirt and hair from the previoius stay. Everyone but one lady seemed to have an attitude. The pamphlet to request dishes said it would be delivered to the room but they told me i had to come get it. I needed a trash bin for the room and i had to go get it. Their rules are weird when it comes to towels. And the sinks were clogged as well. I did spot a roach that came out of the tv once it was turbed on.It was a quiet stay but the cleanliness needs so much work. Maintenence however was good they responded quickly. But i would not recommend anyone especially with children to stay at this property. Too much of a headache.

Was told we had to pay $100 deposit that was refundable at this hotel but hotels.com do any have that posted so we are out of $60 something dollars had to sleep in our car and not a refunded.

This property is supposed to have fully stocked kitchens. Due to Covid, you have to get the supplies for the kitchen from the front desk. This is understandable. What isn't understandable is that they didn't have anything to give me for my stay except for 1 pot and 1 plate. No eating utensils, no pans, nothing else.

So what hotel doesn’t provide linens. The beds and pillows were 30 years old and there was a hole in the ceiling. No dishes. Nothing compared to other extended stays and the staff didn’t try and make it better at all.
