The hotel was great -- good location (about an hour to AcadiaNP), friendly staff, clean rooms. We had a view of the river from our room and there is a path behind the hotel to walk along the waterfront. The only down side was the mattress and pillows -- way too soft! Since we were exhausted after hiking all day it was bearable (would have slept on a bench). If the bed was firmer it would have been great!

Always awesome. This is our second time there. Restaurants in walking distance- Warren's is awesome. The ice cream shop is good too. Quiet area, small town. The observatory on the bridge is a must. Get the river view, its a beautiful view to wake up to. They have microwave and fridge in the room. Ice machine on premises. Beds are comfortable. Shower pressure is amazing. Staff is great. Prices are good. Clean hotel. Front door locks at night, use your key to open- i like this feature. Also, go to the bookstore and visit Lucky.

Basically good. Nice location with walkway along the river right behind the hotel. View from window to the river was very nice. Only complaints were that there weren’t hooks or bars for hanging towels and there were no grab bars in the shower which had a slippery floor.

Great view out the window and I slept soundly all night. What more could I want?! I also took the beautiful river walk trail to the local Dunkin’ Donuts in the morning. Was .7 miles from the room and a great way to start the day! Next time I’ll bring my running shoes so I can run the trail in the morning.

Property located on water, our room view was parking lot but we walked along water, nice path, quiet and safe to walk for pizza and ice cream. Spent next day at Fort Knox park. Only stayed one night. Room was de orated in a classic floral explosion but was clean and met our needs.

LOVE that it is right on the river! Nice walking path along the whole riverfront. Very small, quiet, post card like town! Few places to eat in just a minute walk. View at night of the Penobscot Bridge is beautiful. Sunrise shines up Fort Knox in the morning! So peaceful. The woman that was at the front desk when we arrived was very friendly and welcoming!

Great location and beautiful view! The room was clean, spacious, but had a horrible musty odor, very strong and I found it difficult to sleep. We were lucky weather was great so we were able to open up windows and let fresh air in which minimized odor. I know it’s an old building and sometimes it is what it is. We were there for 3 nights and requested room service but all they did was give us new towels, did not straighten bed sheets etc..

Older style motel and furnishings, small rip in chair, but very clean. Musty smell in my room, which dissipated some when I opened the windows. Nice location, right on the river. Very thin walls, though, and you can hear all the goings on around you. Nice view from my room of the river and the bridge.

The noise from the floor above was excessive. The stomping on the floor above, the voices next door and above, the noise from room next door all combined for an unpleasant stay. The walls, floor and ceiling appear to be paper-thin. in addition the pillow top mattress is very uncomfortable and painful to sleep on. Please provide pillow tops as an option.

The rooms were clean and I felt safe there. However, the walls/floors are VERY THIN. Could hear everything - people walking in the rooms above us, people banging on doors across the hall. The rooms smelled musty, like someone hasn’t been in them in ages. Except it appeared that the Inn was full.

Very nice inn on the river with a view of the marina, Fort Knox and the bridge. It was quiet except some foot steps in the room above. The only thing I’d like to see if a new mattress - it was so soft I had to pull myself out of the hole when I got out of bed. It looks like they are upgrading as they can, I saw new A/C units, fresh paint, new carpets - all in all it was very nice - just the mattress

Somehow I either put wong date in computer or it got mixed up, so I was a day early. Between lady at front desk and Expedia with a simple phone call they fixed it with no penalty charge snd we had a room. Thank you Fort Knox park inn and also Expedia for making it right for me.

Arrived early but place was locked up with sign indicating there would be someone to check in at 3pm. Left came back and checked in later. Staff only on location till 9pm. Room was comfortable, we were 1 of 2 cars in the lokt so I'm not sure why we were put in a room directly below someone who walked all around and made noise all night sometime after 10pm. Oh and no one to call or even tell in then or in the AM because there is noone there!!

We had a room right on the water with a very comfy bed but rather a lot of furniture in the room limiting space Lady on reception not particularly welcoming. Nowhere open to have dinner nearby so had to drive to Searsport. Managed to find a little place for coffee and muffin the the morning just over the road but no other options in Bucksport itself

This was a handy place to be during the Fall. We were close enough to Acadia to drive over for a day of seeing the park, and far enough away to be more economical. Even though they did not serve breakfast, we had instant oatmeal with us that filled the gap.

Bucksport is a proud little town on the rebound. The Inn has been nicely maintained, located in the downtown and convenient to several dining options (not many for dinner). Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a beautiful river walk just outside the hotel and a spectacular view of the bridge.

The view is amazing if facing river especially at night when bridge lights up. Most of the restaurants are closed until Wednesday, so plan ahead for breakfast especially.
