Quality Inn Ledgewood - Dover

Stayed one night as we were on a trip to visit colleges. The room was clean enough for a quick one night stay. There was a random bench seat from a car in the hallway. We went swimming in the evening and there was a group drinking and smoking pot. Made me a little nervous being there on my own with my children. Then we were asked to leave the pool at 7:30 even though the sign said it was open until 8. We won't be going back and can't say I would recommend it.

When arriving on the property it didn’t look like it had been announced online. They had even taken down the American flag that is pictured in one of their pictures of the property. They were also having a BBQ party with lots of people and music was loud my children were only able to swim for an hour before the property manager closed down pool due to weather but, it wasn’t even drizzling. The next morning our cards were deactivated even before we checked out. I tried to swim before we left property since my children and I specifically paid to go swimming calmly and property manager was kind and gave us 30min more after our check out but considering all that occurred when we arrived and when before we left 30 minutes extra to us was still not sufficient. Check in to property is 3pm but you can only swim to 7pm with a family it is felt rushed to be able to settle in and go for swim upon arrival and then they don’t open pool until 9am so again it felt rushed to go for a swim the next morning. Overall this isn’t a good place just for a one night stay at all especially if you have children who enjoy swimming and can’t due to either a huge crowd and noise or the fact that you have to rush out and check out by 11a and not be able to swim because your no longer allowed. Phone also was not working in the room to call front desk. So staff was hard to come by.

A 2 story hotel with no elevator. Had to lug my luggage up and down. The room smelled like a combination of bug spray and disinfectant! The air conditioner didn’t cool the room!

We stayed here because it was close to Lake Hopatcong. It's a little dated but otherwise we had a great night sleep. Bed was comfortable and room very clean. Only issue we noticed was one of the exterior doors didn't lock at night. We padlocked our door. They allowed us late check out so we could shower after our race. Very courteous

I was not thrilled that doors were not locked and anyone could enter the premises at night without a key. Room could use a sitting chair. Breakfast was great though.

We had a great experience at this hotel! The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the pool closed too early at 7 pm during the summer (not conducive to hockey games).. We stayed at this hotel for the pool

There was humidity in the hotel. The bathroom floor was wet. The tub needed a lot of maintenance. It was stained yellow all over. There were ants crawling up the wall behind the bed. There was a party going on until about 2am and we could hear everything clearly in the room. The receptionist was very friendly. Only good experience we had.

In need of a deep clean, dead bugs in bathroom, mold. Mattress hurt my back, same breakfast everyday no one around to help

The hotel had a very musty smell. The place is average for the price we paid.

At soon as you walk tours the rooms leak from the ceiling, and a mold smell in the hall way very strong, room smell like mold as well. The carpets in the room soak and wet. The furnitures are in poor condition. Shower head dirty , blow dryer didn’t work, iron for clothes didn’t work. The fridge full of rust, remote control for tv didn’t work. The window curtains were broken as well. The beds are in poor condition and sheets smell like sweat. I don’t recommend it at all.

The phone and the light in the bathroom didn\'t work. When and told the front desk and he said "I know" I was too tired to ask for a different room.

There are two what seem to be homeless Men about the hotel. They aren't bothering anyone, and are very friendly, but not patrons, and do sit in the lobby which makes me not want to sit there with my family as they are in front of the t.v all day. Staff is very good and friendly. There was a party last night. They seemed to be friends of the staff and played music until 2 am very loud and also rendered the lobby in useless due to the noise level of the music and people in and out. Gym is garbage and needs serious repair. Wifi is garbage. Restaurant we were told is open is closed for repairs? Permanent residents here. Room was spotless and well cared for. Staff very attentive. Plenty of vending and free coffee. It seems like they are trying to make a go of it here and accommodate everyone. The repairs need to be done though.

this was the least expensive chain hotel I could find around the area. So for that, I won’t be too hard on the motel. The bed was comfortable and clean. The carpet was OK. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor was dirty. The bathroom itself looked pretty clean, but the floor was just dirty, but for the price, I would definitely stay here again. I didn’t take advantage of the breakfast they have, but it is offered there.

My room was the last one right next to R80 and is very noisy, i could not sleep all night.

It was convenient for our purposes but we had aching backs from the bed being too soft.

For a hotel in the middle of nowhere it was decently nice. The rooms themselves were outdated but very clean. They had all the amenities you would need, even a washer and dryer on our floor. The front desk staff was prompt, helpful, and very nice. They weren’t stingy with the necessities either. The rooms were also quite spacious, and there were plenty of places to put our luggage. Would definitely stay there again if I need to be out in that area.

WiFi is not working and in shower hot water heat is not consistent..

Unfortunately, this wasn’t great. The room was clean and the front desk staff was friendly and professional. That’s the end of the “good”. I’m 6’10” and couldn’t stand up fully in the hallways or restroom. Our heater/AC unit did not function or adjust. The faucet in the bathroom was broken and the water could not be adjusted hot or cold.

Great staff

Unfortunately this is somewhere I would never return. It took about 30min for someone to show up to check us in. The room key didn’t work when we finally got to our room. Our door was off the hinges and wouldn’t close without lifting the entire thing. If it wasn’t so late we would have simply left. We left first thing in the morning.

I was there for a couple of nights and at 8am the maintenance people got into my room forcing me to open the door because they were looking for a person who was smoking nearby. They couldn’t even wait 30 seconds in order for me to get ready, knocking at the door like crazy. They finally got into the room walking and all over the room (no privacy at all) like I killed somebody. Finally they found out that the smell was that they recently painted some of the rooms which I initially reported to the front desk since the room was smelling terrible. Poor customer service.

I wouldn’t ever stay at this establishment again. Messed up our reservation and only gave us a room with one bed when we had requested two queen size beds. There was an event going on that night and the music was blasting well past midnight. The room smelled of mold, and, the concierge was unfriendly. Had to contact the main desk twice.

I love it there! Older property but the staff is amazing and the place is clean. I feel safe there!

The general manager Joann was AMAZING!!! One of the evening manager was a real jerk! They lost our second day reservation and he was awful to me about it as if it was my fault! Jackie the cleaning lady went above and beyond and was incredibly helpful and friendly. I would return for those ladies alone!

Good: Quiet, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, easy on and off Rt.80, felt safe. Bad: A/C unit didnt work so well, excessive purfume scent in room. Overall: Would definately stay again

The place is old and a bit run down but ok for the price. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice selection of food for breakfast.

Courteous staff, clean room & good breakfast.

I would have liked to have had the option of requesting a walk in shower for my husband and myself. We are both seniors and my husband has an especially difficult time getting into a tub shower. On a different subject.....nice having the breakfast available in the morning, however, some of the offerings were slightly stale. Have to tell you staff was very friendly and courteous.

The staff are always attentive and they keep the building clean and we feel safe. The continental breakfast is great and the area is kept clean.

This hotel is old and outdated. The quality and the variety of items available for the breakfast was little above acceptable. At this price point, there’s not much to complain about. I would definitely stay again at this hotel, but only for one night.

Be aware this hotel will hack your bank accounts. We stayed here in October 2024, and then two months after the fact they hacked my debit cards and tried to charge my account. The payment was completed when we checked out . We had to contact CHOICE hotels to verify this info. The hotel had no idea and said we owed them money and there finance department was having problems for 2 months. The Staff was so unhelpful during my stay. Breakfast was disgusting. I honestly would never stay here again. I will deff not stay here again after they hacked my debit card accounts. All my accounts had to be frozen and I had to order all new cards..BEWARE SWIPING YOUR CARD HERE
