Travelodge by Wyndham Canton-Livonia Area, MI

Great staff, decent rooms, cheap and affordable for a long term stay. Nice owners, relaxed setting.

Took a shower the first night after check in. Discovered only one towel was provided and not a vert clean one. Walked to the bed after drying off to find the bottoms of my feet filthy from the floor. Used the one towel to wipe them off. Okay, no walking barefoot in the room. 2nd night, asked for clean towels. Was asked what I did with the towel I had. Definitely not staying here again.

This place looks NOTHING like the pictures. I had booked my husband and I the King size bed and the second you walk into the door we got hit with the smell of cigarettes. The curtains don’t close all the way or stay closed, the front door looked like it had been kicked in before, wholes in the walls, the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month at least, the bed sheets had cigarette burns and random hair on them, and the bed was about to collapse. We then went down to try and get a new room and the person at the desk was annoyed and didn’t want to give us a new room at first. My husband talked to him and he moved us to a different room. It smelled slightly better, the bed felt like a cardboard box, the TV remote didn’t work, but we decided it was the best option for our 1 night stay. We ended us sleeping fully closed on top of the blankets covering our pillows with clothes and left at 4:30am because we just couldn’t sleep.

Very pleasant staff and very close to the I-275 which was great for my travel that weekend. I would stay here again and I recommend it to anyone

What a dump! Looked like defecation stains on the sheets, the bathtub was scarily-dirty, no mirror in the bathroom, and stains on the ceiling (?!?!). Avoid this one like the plague (which I thought I might get by staying there).
