Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis Bloomington/Mall of America

Very nice hotel, especially the breakfast food and staff, but we were put out by two things, one was that there were no suitcase racks in our room, the other is that we were charged $10 per day for parking which was not disclosed when we booked the room.

We were not able to get a lingerie room despite having reserved and paid for in advance.

Little surprised they charge for parking, otherwise a very nice hotel by the airport.

The property was clean, the pool was well maintained, but the beds were uncomfortable, there was no USB plugs in the room for our electronics, the sockets wouldn’t hold our cord plug-ins. maintenance wanted us to go get new adapters instead of just replacing the lamp which happened but with some resistance. On the second day housekeeping didn’t service our room or give us clean towels. It wasn’t the best experience but the shuttle driver was great

Read the details, there is a $10/night parking fee. Room was ok, clean and basic. Night staff was not the friendliest, day staff was very friendly. Breakfast was just ok. Good for an inexpensive option very close to MOA.
