SpringHill Suites by Marriott Baltimore BWI Airport

The room was awkward and just clean enough to exist in. Check in was slow and the girl couldn’t leave her phone down. They charge for parking even as an overnight guest not leaving your vehicle for a flight. The pool is gross, I don’t suggest swimming here- gross white stuff floating anll over the surface and the pumps weren’t on- felt like Stillwater in a liminal space. Probably will not stay here again and we fly from the area often. They also do not have an early breakfast or to go option which I find odd for an airport hotel.

Breakfast terrible, other than oatmeal, they were out of most things (milk, eggs, sausage) all three days. We had a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed for three people. We had 6 mediocre-bad pillows and were told we couldn’t have any more. Phone had most buttons removed, no front desk button. Only 2 paper coffee cups and room only cleaned/restocked every other day. Front desk often not staffed. Messy lobby with construction. Greasy pool that smelled bad.

Pool area was very creepy. Lights weren't working. It was completely scary. And the elevator broke. Both of them. No one's fault just impacted the stay.

Everything was good as far as the hotel room. The pool however was completely disgusting! The amount of dirt and hair floating all around was beyond nasty! It was so green that you couldn't even see ur hands under the water. Ever inch you moved, there was hair stuck to your arms. Me and my kids were in there all of 10 mins and couldn't take it anymore which sucks because that was the entire reason i chose this hotel. My kids live the pool during our down time. Needless to say, i had extremely unhappy kids.

Pool area was dirty, hot tub water appeared BROWN!! Housekeeping staff rude and mad when extra for extra wash rags. Went down for breakfast at 8 am on my day of check out, was unable to use my room key for re entry

The pool was absolutely freezing. The hot tub was cold and dirty. I was told multiple times I could pay cash for my room and was told when checking in I can only pay with my CC. Just annoying bc I converted the proper amount just to pay for the room

I brought my teen girls up for a concert. Booked this room so I could relax in the hot tub while they were at the concert. I drove back from concert venue and got my swimsuit on and got in "hot tub" except it was not hot. A mild bath at that. Got out and not happy I wasted my time and gas instead of just shopping. Figured we could try again at 9am before check out at 11. The room was clean enough, not much space. The pull out couch lined up with maybe an inch from the double bed closest to exit. Basically sleepable at most. Got up for the breakfast with the teens. The eggs were microwaved, there was only onion and chive creamcheese for bagel until I asked for some, the syrup ran out and the oatmeal was watery. But hey, it was free... Went at 9 to see about hot tub and unlike the website states, found out it opened at 10 and not 9. So we had 1 hour to use pool before check out. Came back at 10 and hottub was maybe 80 degrees. Didn't even bother. a few of the girls got in pool for 30 min. Overall, was super disappointed. I thought I was actually getting a nice hotel and room. Felt like pictures were from 20 years ago. I went and started to actually look at reviews and saw people complaining for months about broken elevator. It's still broke. Only 1 that works. I mostly used stairs that were crazy far to walk to. This morning got an email about charging for parking. At checkout I asked what the heck that was about and was offered a credit. Happy there wasn't bed bugs.

A very nice hotel with shuttle service to and from the BWI airport.

Nice place to stay for getting to BWI. Parking is free if you book through hotel otherwise you pay. Bwi shuttle is free though either way. Very comfortable and pleasant hotel.

We were told by the front desk guy that the shuttle’s full at the 4:00AM pickup time, so we could not use the hotel’s shuttle service. We decided to call for Uber instead, but then we saw that the shuttle had plenty of space, even the driver told us he can have a few more space available. It’s just terrible that front desk service was just misleading us about shuttle service, one of the reason we chose this hotel because of free shuttle service to the airport!

No hot water at bathroom sink, only warm water in shower. Could not shut bathroom door. Water damage on the walls, floor sinking in the bedroom area. No ice machines on floors 2,3, and 4. Maid service only left us one bath towel, one wash cloth, one hand towel. Two people staying in the room. Ceiling over bed looked like it was going collapse. To many people smoking Marijuana on property for a no smoking hotel. Couldn't pay cash for a $4.00 bottle of water. Will never stay there again and will not recommend

Room was clean, housekeeping was always pleasant and considerate. The pool was fairly clean. Breakfast protein selections were different each day. Bathroom after flushing would run constantly (flange may need to be changed). I was very comfortable and slept very well.

The hotel was clean and the staff was professional and pleasant. Other than front desk, I only interacted with one housekeeping associate, who was very approachable and professional. Room was spacious and there were enough towels.

Not clean when we first arrived, the door to the room was open left by housekeeping, The mattress and pull out bed itself were dirty the tub walls were yellow there were stains on the towels.

The toilet ran all night, the tub drained poorly so my feet were in dirty water as I showered. The sink was stopped up took forever to drain. The shower was dirty hair all over the place. I had to clean the hair out the shower before I used it. When I arrived the front desk told my husband there wasn’t any King rooms available even after he explained that I was pregnant and my and I didn’t wanna sleep in separate beds, she only changed her mind because my husband said he would call the manager in the morning.

Rooms were clean. Staff was polite and helpful.

Dirty and stinky hotel. Comforter had stains on it. So I changed the room - the new room had torn carpet, faucet in the bathroom (shower one) was dripping, the water wasn’t draining properly in the washbasin, bathroom door wasn’t closing/locking, noisy AC. You name it. Is this really Marriott? Marriott is now a 1 star hotel like Motel 8. Very very disappointed. Never staying in any Spring Hill Suites anymore. I would not even stay here for free.

There was particles all over the room . I didn’t find out until I open the shades in the morning it was so thick u could see it in the video. There was no manager around only the supervisor. She did offer to change the room but it was already 930am day of the checkout. I left my email and number no response. Its a sad never experience anything like this the staff was helpful and friendly, but not experienced.

Room 238 was fine, but the sink & tub/shower were both slow to drain water when in use.

The elevator and room conditions were rough. The ceiling of the room had a large stain, the bathrooms walls were stained, and the bathroom felt and looked old.

The HVAC system in my room did not work correctly and made my stay very uncomfortable

The hotel was ok. It was clean but you could tell the rooms are outdated. The carpet and couch in our room was stained. One of our pillows had makeup on the pillow case and we had to put in two requests before they brought up a new one. We checked in from the app but had to swap out our credit card at the front desk and the lady helping us was answering the phone, helping another staff member, and scrolling on her phone while assisting us. They also put two holds on two different cards and refused to release the hold on the card that we weren’t paying with. They did not allow late check out, only one hour which did not work for us. Our digital key was turned off at 9am and they were already coming to our room at 9:41am to clean it even though check out is at 11am. Customer service here was not great and they are not accommodating at this hotel.

Check in was quick and easy, air conditioner and Netflix did not work. Room stayed about 73 degrees which was manageable. Was told nothing could be done about the internet tv. Deposit was $100 per person, not $50 like it said. Stay was ok, but I would have just stayed at the Sonesta again for $200 less and a much smaller deposit as well.

Rooms are size of an apartment

They charged me extra. Said it was refundable and never did. I keep calling for my refund and they refuse to give it.

The king sized bed room I booked in advance was given to someone else. The manager absolutely did not care or try to help resolve. She didn’t apologize and said I could either take a double bed room or leave with a refund. I stressed that I got a confirmation no three days prior and asked for the corporate number. Her response was she didn’t have it and to find it with Google! I have never been spoken to the way this manager did and will probably not use Expedia again.

The staff were all lovely and friendly from checking in to checking out. So ready to help and just a great over all experience.

Red head receptionist is unprofessional. Food ran out within breakfast time 7am-10am for wknd. Plates ran out following day. Both days staff said they can not replenish. Facility is dirty. And receptionist doesn\'t work in "food area" when asked if she can assist in getting some plates for us.

Could not check in. No one at front desk when we arrived. Staff MIA. Waited 45 minutes. Had to find a different hotel at midnight.

Very nice staff. Travis, the GM, was very hospitable. I asked for a late checkout as I had an evening flight and he was very kind to accommodate us. I have worked for Marriott for & years and it is always great to see associates that choose empathy and serving others above all.

This hotel is as good as any but the pool and hot tub really set it above the rest. Also, the staff are hugely friendly. Like, uncharacteristically friendly for hotel staff int he area. It's wild. Feels like you're in a very classy place because they are all so helpful and friendly. They must pay them more here than any other hotel around.

I liked that the location was right outside of Baltimore. It was very quiet and not a lot of traffic. The room was very comfortable for myself and my daughter. It isca plus that parking was free and that breakfast was included. I would definitely come back.

If you are flying out of BWI this is one of the best. Awesome breakfast, check out the photos not seen such a good spread anywhere recently. This has a pool so you expect lots of kids and noise on the lobby. But the rooms are pretty new and Clean with fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Got good food options nearby and bwi is 5 mins away with shuttle service

Nice place to stay for getting to BWI. Parking is free if you book through hotel otherwise you pay. Bwi shuttle is free though either way. Very comfortable and pleasant hotel.

The shower tub was in poor condition. The tv in the living area did not work. Breakfast was overcrowded, area too small, waffle maker broken. Overall it was clean and my family was happy.

The room was good. Unfortunately not enough towel sets were left in the room or a blanket for the couch. There also isn’t a fan switch for the shower/tub. The most disappointing part was that the breakfast area wasn’t refilled and the staff started breaking it down at 835. Here it is Labor Day and I know staff doesn’t like to work on holidays yet taking it out on guests is inappropriate.

The bathroom door would not close without pulling and pushing really hard and it made a loud screeching noise. The halls and the elevator smelled like pot in the morning. During the evening there were loud drunk people roaming the halls and slamming doors. We tried breakfast but they had tiny plates and bowls. The scrambled eggs were not fresh more like powder and the croissants tasted old and dry. They had breakfast sandwiches, but they were microwaved too long so one half was hard and not chewable. The sausage links were rubbery, but the patties were a little better. The hardboiled eggs and waffles were good, but the staff waited until 15 minutes before breakfast ended to put out the big plates for the waffles. If you were trying to save money by doing that, I think it backfired. People were using twice as many plates and throwing food away that was falling on the tables and floor. All in all, it was a nice stay, and the room was very clean. We went for the breakfast, but it was not good overall. Kitchen and night staff were nice.
