Holiday Inn Macon North by IHG

The staff was friendly and there are groceries and restaurants within walking distance.

Pool was not working for the second year in a room Spring break time, mid stop with kiddos. Not a very good track record. Wouldn’t recommend

Pool was closed second year in a row, candy on the floor, front desk did not answer phones, AC was broken in our room.

We specifically booked this hotel because of the marketing of the indoor pool. Our six year old asked to stay at a hotel with a pool for her birthday. We got to the hotel to find out the pool is closed, no reason given, and looks fine. When we asked again, we were told that it was under construction, although it’s not. The countertops on the cabinets and the table in the room had not been wiped, there was sticky residue left over from another person, staying there before us, and there was dirt on the floor. The shower floor looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. It is a nice hotel, but we were very disappointed overall. Do not book for the pool!!!

Walked into room that had liquid spilled on side table and dirty washcloth in the shower. Staff assisted in finding a new room.
