The bathroom and the room were very clean. The person who cleaned and set up the bathroom made a great effort to make sure it had everything needed. The Inn had what I normally eat for breakfast. Check in was very fast. Lots of parking and a new washer and dryer. Pool was out of service so I could not use hot tub, although I assume it was working

This place was “ok.” The room was reasonably clean. It’s a little dated, but not excessively so. The pool area was a disaster but it appears they are working to repair it, clean it and update it.The hot tub was out of commission and the pool had massive amounts of sand on the bottom. On the plus side, this place wasn’t crowded and was very quiet, but it’s within a 20 minute drive of Iowa City. The downtown square is absolutely charming. I would definitely stay here again, but it’s a pretty average budget stay.

Overall, our stay was ok. It was late, 9:30pm. The staff barely spoke 5 words to us. No greeting, no have a goodnight, nothing. Just gave us the receipt, had us sign and gave us our keys. As soon as we opened the door, we were overwhelmed with a musty smell. The room was huge. Definitely outdated but the room itself was clean. Beds were comfortable and I loved the pillows. The bathroom on the other hand was horrible. So dirty. Along the tub looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Under the sink it looked like someone urinated and it had been left for a long time. I'm not sure if that is what it was but that's what it looked like. The tub is really old and it looks like the bath mat was put there when it was installed. So gross. And it was filthy. The ONLY reason I didn't ask for a change is because it was late and we had just spent 12 hours driving.

This property is fine. It’s clean for the most part. The beds were comfortable. The furniture is mismatched, but flimsy and frankly bit old. The deadbolt on my door didn’t lock and from the looks of how much they had to tear out to fix it hadn’t before either. They fixed it promptly so the second night felt safer.

bed was not the size we booked. no check out staff, they left, we could not check out, nor get a receipt for our nights stay. the manager / front check in / out manager left, and put the maintaince man in charge, and he could not check in or out anyone, or acess the computer system. the housekeepers, were more worried about the baby they were babysitting, than the guest. walking around with the baby, passing it back and fourth, while we waited for the mainaince man, come back to the desk, to tell us what do we want him to do?
