Quality Inn Harriman

The property was very close a few restaurants and the Interstate. The handicap accessible room that I booked was not available so I was given a room on the 2nd floor and there was no elevator. The manager then put us in a room on the 1st floor that had a shower chair too big to fit into the tub and a toilet that my husband had to remove the tank lid and adjust the levers inside in order to flush it.

My only complaints are that the room was dirty and the train should be known before hand. The pool was green and filled with debris, the room had spider webs everywhere, what we thought was a dead baby turtle was a hardened mini orange skin, broken furniture and appliances littered the walkways to the rooms. Cheap room so low expectations.

The room was very nice, although the TV channels are extremely limited. TV was too small for the size of the room and distance to the bed. The parking is very dark, as are the breezeways between the buildings and walkways to the rooms. There are spiderwebs everywhere, and you cannot avoid them while you walk to your room. Walking into spiderwebs that have spiders on them in the dark is pure nightmare fuel. I will grab a King Cobra by the face and kiss it on the mouth before I voluntarily walk into a spiderweb that is "in use" in the dark. It took one time, and I was using my phones flashlight to navigate my luggage to my room and back out to get food. Breakfast in the morning was a choice of yogurt, store bought unwrapped muffins, toast or a waffle. No water, and both juice dispensers were out of order. Coffee was awful, and I drink gas station and truck stop coffee 250 days a year. This was top 5 worst in 30 years. The lobby is clean and bright. The staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend the room, but bring a flashlight, a can of Raid, and a broom if you check in at night. If you are an arachnophobe, you will definitely need trauma counseling if you stay here.

Room was clean and spacious. Parking lot was well lit, almost like daytime!!

It was a great hotel with a very equipped workout room and a well maintained pool.

We arrived early and no rooms available on first floor (no elevator). We were given the option of waiting 30 minutes or taking a room on the second floor. I opted for later since I had a pain and wanted to lay down. The floor was not vacuumed and I had to remove a big bug before my wife saw it. The linens were stained and the sink had hairs in and around it. The lampshades were damaged and one was missing making the room annoyingly bright. If I was asked if I would stay at another OYO motel, would say ONO.

I don’t like leaving these reviews. The staff was so very kind. Our second room wasn’t ready so we had one regular and one suite with no cost adjustment. Went to the room and two beds needed changed, and they were very quickly. Extra towels were brought right away. The beds weren’t uncomfortable. The cable didn’t work. Water pressure was great! The pool was not operational. Breakfast was cereal or yogurt. We had McDonald’s instead.

Please think twice before booking here. There is a no cancellation policy for a reason. This motel rents to people on weekly basis. Strong smell of marijuana! Four cops were in back of hotel searching a uhaul truck. It was gone next morning. Lots of yelling and foul language. The only breakfast was coffee and cereal. No eggs, waffles or warm foods. Juice machine was out of order. Keys continuously stopped working. Lots of steps to get down to pool. No handicap ramp. Our room was so hot and facing the evening sun. The air conditioning barely cooled. By the next morning, it went out and we had to move rooms. Found out another couple had move rooms too because of the air conditioning. Booking through a third party is huge mistake The front desk will tell you they can’t add or change anything in any way. The pool was filthy. So unsanitary and mold on the sides, it literally needs to be turned over to some type of better business!

Room was clean, comfortable and cheap, it the pool that needed cleaning. Overall very pleased with my stay especially for what it cost me :)

There were a lot of bugs in the room. I did not feel comfortable. While sleeping, two stink bugs in my face. I say lady bugs, stink bugs and bed bugs, I was very exhausted from a 6hr trip and was in discomfort the entire stay.

The room was disgusting. The top blanket had what looked like oil stains on them. The room smelled as though they were trying to cover up cigarettes. The floor had not been swept. There were spots on the floor ofstuff dried.

Very clean and friendly staff.

This was a one night stay on a road trip. When i woke to find a roach on the night stand and one on the bathroom wall. The staff was very nice but nothing could make up for that experience

They cleaned very well

The first night we were there my daughter woke up with her arm covered im bites. Quickly found bedbugs. I went to the desk and they put us in a different room. Everything was great in the new room. It was clean and comfortable for the next two days.

Started off bad. Couldn't get in the room. Gave us new cards. Still couldn't get in. Attendant came and couldn't get in. Gave us the room next to it. Room felt and looked dirty. Slept on top of the bedding. Limited TV. Kept buffering. Gym was in behind the laundry with dirty laundry on the floor. Supposed to have breakfast. Were lucky to make a couple waffles and there was one comtainer of yogurt.

The room had roaches. The bolt lock for the door was broken—and gone, so that only the flimsy flip lock kept the door secure. The toilet blocked the bathroom door—as in, if you wanted to relieve yourself or take a shower, you’d have to do it with the door open because the door was stopped by the toilet bowl. It was crazy! There were things pinging off our legs and the dogs started itching—the room had fleas. But when the roach skittered across the wall, we turned right back around and went to the front desk and asked for our money back. We were charged for 3 nights but didn’t stay 30 minutes. They said they couldn’t refund us but we could call their number. Called the number, but the agent couldn’t find a record of our stay. Left a review on Google (along with a BUNCH of other people who have pictures of bed bug activity and roaches too) and the owner responded asking us to please email them. I emailed them and got no response. Other reviewers say the same thing—nobody is getting refunds from this terrible hotel! For what it’s worth, we found a pet friendly La Quinta on Courtway in Pigeon Forge, TN. Very nice staff. Clean. No bugs. And Jennifer at the La Quinta said they can and do refund customers so OYO was incorrect to say they couldn’t refund us since we left immediately.

Spent 30 minutes to get in the room. The outlets in the room didnt work tub had soap residue

I didn't like the smell and the wifi wasn't working,there was barely any breakfast to eat.The juice machine wasn't working,coffee tea bags were empty.All night the mosquitoes were attacking us.

It was tolerable since nothing else was available. The bed cover was stained. The inside of the toilet looked like it had a ring of cigarette ashes in it. The swing lock on the door was broken.

The room was nothing fancy but it was fairly clean, although not worth $104/night. The "cable TV was blurry and kept cutting out. The phone in the room didn't work and the tub wasn't clraned well. Tish at the front desk was very helpful and polite, which makes a difference to me as a customer. It's acceptable in a pinch but I wouldn't set out to stay there again.

The door key wouldnt work and we were so tired. Instead of making us wait for someone to fix the door, they upgraded us from 2 queen beds to a single king. The room was beautiful, clean, and fresh feeling/smelling. The only flaw was the security latch was missing. The breakfast was great. The staff went out of their way to make sure the coffee was fresh, and every few minutes they checked to make sure everything was stocked full. The check in went quickly and was exactly what we expected. My family lives nearby, so i will be back often!

The door to the room was not shut when we got there barely got it to lock w/deadbolt then wouldn’t lock just push open when we left and the tv didn’t work Reported the problem to be told if you would have told us last night we could have changed you but when we checked in they told the person in front of us that they only had smoking rooms available Went down for breakfast at 8:00 leaving Hubby in the room because couldn’t lock the door. Breakfast area was a mess with garbage overflowing on to counter and nothing warm to eat no waffle batter and Juice Machine not working. Had to climb stairs to get to room and trash laying around.

Room was damp feeling and had either heavy cleaner or air freshener in it, making me wonder what smelled so bad they had to cover it up to that extent. Stayed on front side of hotel facing street (even numbers), which was a pain to move bags from car to room as there is no parking at the front of hotel (odd numbered rooms)- only the rear. Shower was clean. Sheets were clean but had multiple cigarette holes. Pillows required all 4 to make a useable pillow. Bed was well worn. Debated leaving and staying elsewhere but decided to stay as I'd just driven from Wilmington NC & was exausted. Front of hotel also overlooks the train tracks, be prepared to be awoken frequently if you don't leave the tv on or aren't use to it. Wouldn't stay again, the usual you get what you pay for, just expected better based on other recent reviews.

The room was terrible. Smelled like smoke. Told the front desk and asked to be moved the following night. Got back late and could not get in our room. Could see our stuff. Went to the desk and had to wake the night clerk up off the couch. Long store …do not stay there.

we honestly had no issues at the property itself, other than the fact that only one of the power outlets worked in our room. The staff was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The pool was dirty, but it also rained a lot right before we went. My complaint is with Oyo as a company. I booked my stay at the Oyo Harriman hotel through Expedia. And somehow ended up with two separate bookings. I was charged for a two day booking through Expedia and we added a day since we arrived in town earlier than expected. The front desk informed us that Expedia had listed our stay as a "pay at hotel" and charged us for the entire three days instead of just the extra day we added because we arrived early. When I realized I had been double charged for the original two day stay I contacted Expedia who was more than willing to refund me for the extra two day booking upon approval from the hotel. However, OYO refused to acknowledge there was a double booking and refund me my money. They claimed there was not a duplicate booking even though there were 2 separate bookings in my name, one for three days and one for two days overlapping the first booking. So I ended up paying for "five nights" when we only stayed at the hotel for three nights. OYO has still not acknowledged that there was a double booking and still refuses to refund my money.

Staff was more interested in their phones and personal conversations at both check in and check out. When new people come into your business attention should be on them not conversations and gossip with other staff members.

The manager was amazing and the rooms were really nice and the price was right!!

Friendly staff.

I will be submitting my concerns to Wyndham international regarding my findings. Upon check in our room had a strong odor which I found difficult to deal with. I called the front desk to inform them of this and a man named Steve helped to find us another room. While waiting for a new room assignment I happened to pull the curtains closed and noticed dog poop behind the curtain. I also noticed water in the ice container in the new room we were assigned which I assume was from a previous patron. I also found a restaurant receipt on floor in this room, dated 05/14/2023. Is this the last time someone was here and is this when it was last cleaned.? I did not feel comfortable sleeping on the bed and slept on towels. This is disgraceful that this hotel can be this unmanaged and fall under the Wyndham name. Do not come here! Steve who helped find another room was very sweet and we appreciated his help.

I arrived late, but the desk was still manned. That was impressive. I appreciated it.

We were just a overnight stay on a budget and for the money the interior room was remodeled updated. It was very nice clean. They offered breakfast in the morning. They have a nice pool. The view is really nice and you can walk to cracker barrel for the money. I would highly recommend it

Hotel is clean. Staff was very friendly. There is a Cracker Barrel within walking distance and a gas station adjacent to the property. So convenience is there.

Safe and conveniently located. In the same parking lot as a bp gas station and a Cracker Barrel restaurant.

Great service, great room and great breakfast!!

Older property Has not had any upgrades, Advertised breakfast, but they had mediocre coffee and some dried out muffins. Poor selection of fruit Room had an extremely strong odor from too much cleaning solution, apparently housekeeping was trying to hide odors. We arrived late, so we put up with it, but will not visit this property again

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this low cost hotel was. The breakfast was nice, the staff was nice and the rooms were well kept. My room had the smell of cigarette smoke in it which bothered me but that is not on the hotel but the previous guest. I recommend this little place for a great low cost stay.

It’s fine for a nights sleep during traveling. The room was clean except for food crumbs behind the bed. All rooms have outdoor entrances and the only way to second floor is upstairs which was hard for my dad who uses a cane. If you’re eager for the free breakfast don’t bother. I was also surprised with the pet fee I had to pay in addition to the room since I booked the pet friendly room to start.
