Pool was still not ready to be used, some touch up painting and toilet maintenance is needed.

We enjoyed our stay here. We were originally bringing our dog, but ended up having a house sitter. There was a few spots of wear on the furniture but that is totally understandable if dogs are allowed. Everything was very clean. It was a little chilly in the pool but we enjoyed it anway!!! The staff is wonderful and friendly.

The hotel is extremely dated and in poor repair. Desperately in need of upgrades. The pool was closed the whole time. We were there and employees really could not provide a reason why which was concerning? We travel to Columbus, often to see our military Son but we'll never use this hotel again. It's just not up to the standards it should be for the cost.

Property was very clean and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the traffic but convenient enough to adequate shopping and dining interests. Parking, although adequate for the facility, was a little challenging due to accommodation of an event over the weekend. Staff was professional and courteous.

The elevator didn’t work, breakfast were just sandwiches and fruits, our TV’s and A/C didn’t work properly. The staff were very nice and friendly.

Very clean and well kept. Breakfast options were great for any eater. Felt safe with card entry needed at all doors.

The room had a strange odor. We later found ants in the bed. The staff changed our room. On checkout, we met 2 exterminators who were there to treat several rooms. Hotel manager was not willing to provide compensation for us.

Was greeted at the desk at 2:30 am and had my wife & three little ones with me, the person at the desk said I was lucky because she was about to mark me as a no show. I asked if they had a check in time cutoff and she said no but… and went onto some rant. Not sure what that meant, but It sounded like I wouldn’t have gotten the room if she did that. 1. I’m not lucky, I’m your customer.. 2. There is no policy on my itinerary saying I needed to be there by 2:30am.. Hotel was very musty, seems like filters never get changed, floors were dirty inside the room, Most surfaces sticky. Half used rolls of TP hanging.. broken toilet, and so on.

This was easily the filthiest Marriott we have ever stayed in. The floors were disgusting and the walls were filthy. Asking the staff for anything such as clean towels or refilling the water container in the lobby was treated as an inconvenience to them. I do not recommend this property.

Bugs in the room. Something crawled on me in the middle of the night and woke me up out of my sleep.

Front desk service was friendly and helpful. But hotel room smelled musty and old, door deadbolt kept triggering as we left room taking some work to close every time, the shower required all kinds of maneuvering to make it work. Breakfast was pretty lackluster. Very close to highway so lots of traffic noise and could hear people above us walkimg around. Would not plan on staying here again.

Outlets didnt work and tv barely worked. Rooms need to be cleaner than they were.

The 2 bedroom suite was nice and surprisingly well priced. High ceilings were a plus. The front desk person, Que, was exceptionally welcoming!

I stayed in room 130. It was nice I would stay again. The only issue I had which I have at a lot of hotels is that the bed is soft. I like a firm mattress.

This was a great hotel. The room was very spacious and clean. The hotel staff was very nice.

The staff was amazing, but the location was extremely lacking. The A/C was loud, the pillows were pointless, and the bathroom door was broken.

The first room, the television or the telephone didn’t work. The room I was moved to was out dated and carpet ripped.

Our front desk attendant was very friendly & helpful. Try not to get a room on the 1st floor near the entrance & elevator or you won’t sleep well. The King bed was super comfy. The down pillows aren’t my preference.

Staff charged us twice and refused to correct it. Told us it was a hold. Multiple calls and it hasn’t been corrected. Disputing the charges via the credit card company. Also charged us $100 non refundable deposit for a dog which wasn’t disclosed ahead of time. We will never stay at a Marriott property again

Fantastic staff!!!!!

Staff was cordial, professional, and helpful. I especially want to recognize Crystal for all her assistance, especially as we were staying post operative for my wife’s eye surgery; and Crystal went above and beyond to insure she was comfortable. The room was great for our needs and if we have to stay in Columbus again, we will stay here!

Check in was not smooth. Then as we were staying there, our reservation was some how cancelled. Someone tried to check into our room at 3 in the morning because of it.

The people make this place. The rooms are good, nice and clean, but the service moves this property way above the usual standard for this price hotel.

Was supposed to check in at 3pm and couldn’t check in till after 6pm. I made this reservation months prior to my stay. According to the First lady that was working they didn’t have any rooms available at the time of checkin. Ok fine she took my number and was supposed to call when she had one available, well guess what she didn’t call me at all. She just clocked out and left for that day. Communication is the key when in customer service.

Our door wouldn't shut. I requested that we have no housekeeping. However they did go in they did go in to fix the beds but didn't throw the trash or do anything else. Then they left the door wide open. When we got back the door was open and we panicked. I called the front desk and they didn't seem to care.

The location wqs perfect for our needs. Several restaurants are near by as well as the mall.

Easy and close to the places we wanted to go

It is what it is … a budget hotel with an aging facility, not very clean, lacking most amenities you’d want from a hotel, with limited breakfast items and overpriced pantry items. Area is lacking any walkable restaurants or other places of interest and is industrial / commercial in nature. Room was not in good condition with a leaking refrigerator and shower and bed was not comfortable. If you really want a more pleasant hotel / hospitality experience, look elsewhere. Front desk staff was very pleasant.

Great start, nice place to stay. Close to the college. We would stay there again.

We were there for Army graduation. The location to Fort Benning was good and easy to get to.

We were in town for an AAU tournament. The hotel was extremely close to Columbus State University. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby.

Review: In comparison to other TownePlace suites Marriott that I’ve seen, this one was quite disappointing. even the lobby area was that of a much less costly hotel. The breakfast was a joke. There was no fresh anything, not even the fruit. They had packaged sausage biscuits and egg And ham croissants. They had the refrigerated unit locked as I was told that the temperature was not cold enough and if they got inspected, they’d be written up for it. The first night in the room, we had no TV. Nobody came up When I called. They just said that they had heard some complaints from other guest and that they would move me to another room. This was after we traveled nine hours and went out to eat and came home at 9 o’clock. That would’ve been a huge inconvenience to change rooms. The next day they did fix it. The room seemed clean enough, however, no one came in to make the beds or anything on our second night. Their main reason/excuse for a lot of things that were sub standard, was that it was not busy for them. So I guess that’s why things were just not up to par. I must say that the young ladies at the desk were very sweet and as accommodating as they could be. I did complain about the TV and told them that we need to be compensated for having no TV in a hotel that was over $100 a night. She did take off one night fee, which was a huge compensation and we were happy with that. I do not blame the employees for the lack of accommodations and services of this hotel. This was purely ma

Breakfast meat was cold

The lighting was very poor. One lightbulb over the desk didn't work and there was no place to read other than sitting in bed. There was a comfortable chair, but no light near it. I reported the problem the first day, but nothing was ever done about it. Otherwise, it was fine and convenient for our needs. The breakfast was very nice each day, with several options available.
