Best Western Fremont Angola I-80 90 Toll Road

Our room stunk like damp mildew the whole time. The carpet in front of the room was damp for some reason. The cleaning lady came to clean our room and didn’t make one of the bed in the room. The breakfast buffet was as not the great either. The pool was not very clean and they were running cold hose water in it so it was freezing!

We chose this hotel as it was conveniently located off the I90 and was advertised as having a pool for the kids. Whem we arrived tue pool was out of service and wouldn't be available until the summer. The room was clean and bed comfy. Breakdast was very basic amd im short supply

We stayed here for the ev chargwr, which did not work! Beware!

Hotel was clean and quiet at night. Management was helpful and friendly as were other guests. Pool needed to be cleaned.

Was not expecting much as we booked 3 rooms to avoid driving home after a 3:30 pm football game start. Very nice property. I was impressed with the rooms, the beds were comfortable and the linens were quite nice. We will definitely book here again. The only negative was the elevator was out of service so we had a long walk and stairs to get to our second floor rooms.

It was a great place for my family to stay for a night. The only complaint we had was that the parking lot was not very safe. We went during the winter, and the lot was not plowed too well or salted. It was extremely slippery. Could have slipped and fell easily.

Clean and quiet

The room had a funny smell. It was a mix of cleaning fluids and smoke.

We appreciated the cleanliness and quality of our room. It was a quiet and pleasant motel where we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our stay was excellent! Very impressed with the amount we spent and the quality that we received! Rooms were updated, the mattress was so comfortable, everything was very clean, and the staff was friendly. Will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Old building. Bathroom and sheets looked clean. Room looked liked it had been cleaned and vacuumed. Room smelled of strong mildew. Carpet old and embedded dirty. Air conditioner worked but not well. Bed felt like a half inflated air mattress. Could not sleep on it. Appreciated it was pet friendly. Our little dog pulled something very suspicious from floor under exposed metal bed frame. Didn’t even try breakfast.

Everything was clean and was a very good experience

Our hotel room was very dirty. We got there and pulled out the sofa bed only to find a slim Jim wrapper and stains. There was a dark red stain on the carpet that was questionable. There were crumbs in the bunk beds under the covers. I opened one of the drawers under the TV to find a toothbrush and toothpaste. The TV did not work, it only stayed on one channel, it couldn’t be changed. The check in and check out were easy and we had no problems. Overall it seemed that the room was not thoroughly cleaned and that they do not care about the cleanliness.

The staff is friendly and room was clean. The mattress on the king bed was in need of replacement. This was my 3rd. time staying there in the past year; the prior stays the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is quiet.

Clean, new carpet and new floors. Room did not have hot water or working shower head, was a hanging hand held that didn’t stay in the holder.

Hotel staff were present, friendly, and efficient. Room was clean and comfortable. The temp control was excellent. The bathroom was weird. It was fine, but the tub/shower floor was concave to the point that the water didn't drain and the walls didn't feel clean. This is a comfortable place to stay for a night while you're on the road.

very nice room, except bathroom door would not shut. it needed adjusting, which seems like a minor issue that should have been addressed. standard sort of breakfast, except that coffee was particularly weak. better quality coffee, a bit stronger, would be appreciated

Hotel room was average at best. Refrigerator was so loud it needed to be unplugged, vending machine didn't work, towels were mismatched from different hotel brands. I was put in an ada room where soap/conditioner/shampoo were minimal at best, water was oversoftened and felt slimy. Bed was comfortable.

Place was clean and refreshed. Terrible water pressure in our shower, no temperature adjustment. Could not get the wifi to work in our room. Won't be going back.

A member of the staff tapped on my door and then entered my room before I could answer the door. No one should enter an occupied room in that manner. My privacy was not respected.

The hotel was short-staffed. The few employees present were working hard, but not enough was getting done due to the lack of staff. I noticed that a pillow was missing. The lighting in the bathroom was very dim, making it difficult for me to shave. Additionally, there was only a small flow of water from the bathroom sink, and the water pressure was low. However, the shower was functioning properly. When I wanted to check out, I pressed the buzzer to call for staff three times, but no one came, so I ended up leaving without talking to anyone about these complaints.

Waited about 10 minutes for desk clerk to arrive at front desk to check in. Followed instructions to ring bell on front desk (rang repeatedly during 10 minute wait time) but no one came to front desk until 2 other hotel employees told clerk that we were waiting. Clerk apologized but also stated that she had heard the bell ringing. Rooms were in good order and clean.

The entire staff was extremely accommodating during my stay. As a frequent business traveler, conducting business in the area, I have frequented most of the local lodging in the area. Unlike the other hotels in the vicinity, the absolute standout was the staff - whether it was young lady at the front desk, the housekeeping staff, or even the owner, I was pleasantly surprised at how cordial and friendly everyone was. Sure, it’s an older building. And AS EXPECTED, it’s not going to be perfect. But what it IS is safe, clean, friendly accommodations, provided at a very reasonable price. I was approached by the housekeeping staff each day, to see if I wanted fresh linens or a quick touch up in my room. Beverages were made available throughout the day, and on into the night. The breakfast was perfectly acceptable, with a wide variety of choices. And, again, I cannot express enough just how refreshing it was to have an entire staff greet me with a smile and kind words each time I exited my room or entered back into the building. I spoke with the owner, this morning, as I was checking out. I made sure to compliment her on the peaceful and professional experience that I encountered during my stay, assuring her that I would most certainly be returning. This is NOT the W, the Four Seasons, or the Ritz Carlton. But WHAT IT IS is a clean, friendly, safe hotel, designed for overnight stays by families and business travelers. They are doing a wonderful job providing great service.

Good for a one night stay enroute to another destination. The only issue I had was that I received a call the next day to pay the pet fee. I chose this hotel because it came up as pet friendly. I had never traveled with a pet before so it didn't even occur what else I would need to do at check in. We walked right through the lobby with our cat so we weren't trying to hide it. When I received the call I immediately agreed to pay the fee. The woman who called said we know you had a pet in a very accusatory tone after I already agreed to pay and said I wasn't aware of the fee. I didn't appreciate being spoken to that way for an honest mistake. I am sure people try to be sneaky but that wasn't the case here so a little understanding would be nice.

Everything was clean and neat. The staff is so awesome. They are very nice, efficient and compassionate. They seem to really love what they do.

A very bad breakfast compared to what most motels offer.

The breakfast was sub par and the staff wasn't the best. We had to ask for towels and bedding for the pull out sofa bed. Then the worst thing was the outside lighting shined in the windows all night, the curtains did not keep light out of room. It was like day light all night, bad night of sleep.

Place was slightly dated but rooms were clean, no bugs, A/C worked well (which was a key factor since it was 95 all weekend). Beds and pillows were very comfy which is always a plus and not always a guarantee at hotels. Free breakfast was lackluster but not a deal breaker for me. Also I’ve noticed some others comments regarding the area seeming sketch, but my parents had a cottage nearby and so I spent 45 years of entire summers in the area and can tell you that it’s a safe area, it’s just that many of the outlet shops went out of business but it’s safe there.

Checkin was quite nice- efficient, professional, pleasant. Property overall was nicely clean. However, the refrigerator in our room did not work. Sonce we were only o ne night, we just went with it. Bed was very comfortable, soft top, firm underneath. Breakfast probably needs a dedicated staff member to monitor it- had to ask for hot items to be refilled. All in all, it was a decent stay, but not stellar.
