This motel far exceeded our expectations. First it was very clean on the outside, pool looked immaculate although too cold to us. Liked the fact towels were provided at the pool. Queen room was lovely, very nice to the eye, everything worked as it should. Vending and Ice machines. East to get to from GSP. Close to nearby beaches

First, no one acknowledged my change in reservation due to concerns. Next, the breakfast was below average, with coffee that tasted like brown water. In addition, the The bathroom lacked a fan which made the area damp. Moreover, the pool was not heated, but nice. The cleaning staff were wonderful. Yet, the door was a problem as it wouldn't open without a struggle, wouldn't lock, and finally the handle almost came off. Also, the keys kept demagnitizing. Just a note, the front driveways need some light as they were difficult to see at night. Otherwise, it was safe, clean, quiet, and convenient to most places by car.

Comfortable bed and clean room. The inside could use a major remodel, especially the bathroom. Good coffee and bagels across the street (Hwy 35). Inadequate soap, no grab bars. Tiny shower. No hand held device.

We were only there for 2 nights for a wedding in the area. Everyone was extremely nice at arrival and checkout. Room was very clean. Our room was right in front of the pool and it was still quiet and peaceful. If I had to comment on anything it would be that the WIFI was very week and unusable so if you're in need of it during your stay, this is your heads up!

In short: this is an older facility, so it's essentially in a 40 year old style. The lighting was subpar. The bathroom functioned OK but was very small with extremely limited shelving. The facility is overpriced, but probably in line with a beach resort area. The HVAC was blowing constantly, the OFF switch doesn't work, and the cold air continuing on body parts was beyond annoying. To be fair, the room was reasonably clean. We had no interaction with the staff except for check in and check out. The pool was pretty good. The location is excellent, but I doubt we'll stay here the next time we come to the area. We were somewhat disappointed; apparently it used to be better.

Thin walls, couldn’t sleep past 7:30 AM due to guests with children (clearly I was just an extra in the movie of their life…) It is inexpensive lodging in an expensive area. Bed an linens seemed very clean. Cable and internet were fine. Plenty of hot water in the shower, but bathroom could use a little TLC. Not far off for what you would expect at that price point.

My husband and i checked in rather late at night (10:30 pm, check in time was till 11 pm - traffic problems, and we'd called ahead to let them know), and were supposed to have a queen. The man working , after a few odd questions about out sleeping arrangement, said that a queen was too small and that he'd move us to a king. Thanked him and went to the room... which had two small full sized beds. We were exhausted, so just took it as is. The beds were extremely firm, which if you like that, yay, but neither of us got much sleep. Otherwise just your average older motel room, worn but clean enough.

This property came a long way. I stayed at this property over 15 years ago and it was a dump. The new management with all the renovations turned this hotel into an outstanding stay. Room was very cleaned, staff was very helpful even providing us an additional blanket at night. Great stay.

Management of this hotel is rude. This is a budget motel so I wasn’t expecting Ritz treatment but this felt like Shawshank. The owners are understandably wary of party goers but they treat all guests as if they are frat boys on spring break. Front desk is very unpleasant.

This is my second time here. The rooms are well-equipped and clean; those nearer the office and away from the road tend to have less traffic noise, although some is present throughout the property. This, however, is offset by the extreme convenience and fantastic location in the affluent town of Sea Girt. I am here for an event in downtown Sea Girt and find the rooms quite acceptable if you can handle Spartan rather than plush. Good value.
