We arrived following a thunderstorm where the electricity went out. The elevator was out but the repairman was called. Unfortunately we were on the third floor and my mom is disabled. My mom slowly made her way up the stairs and the lovely general manager helped my mom up and carried her luggage. She offered to carry mine too! During our whole stay we felt very well taken care of and would definitely stay again

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Just one thing...We stayed on the second floor, and the air conditioning didn't seem to work well in the hallway area. There was a noticeable difference when we stepped into the hallway leaving our room.

I was extremely pleased with the overall cleanliness and service. Every employee was helpful and nice. The breakfast each day was amazing and I enjoyed the free coffee and tea in the lobby available all day long. Would certainly stay here agai .

5 stars all the way. Saw several different front desk employees during my stay and all were super pleasant and professional. The indoor pool was nice and clean. The free breakfast had a large variety of choices and all was delicious. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again.

This particular establishment was the best Hotel by far. My family and I was in town for a wedding. We chose this place for the amenities. Although, everything was up to par food was good. Staffing was nice. The building was extremely clean. If I can have any drawbacks was the gym was a bit small but I had it to myself so I didn’t mind it. 10 stars

Specifically choice this hotel as if had a good rating and several people mentioned cleanliness. My room had a weird smell and sheets were dirty. Tv also did not work. I do not recommend.

Property was fresh and new and in a safe, well lit location. Breakfast was delicious! Staff both in the eveing and in the morning were friendly, courteous, and polite. Our bathroom could have been cleaner. There was mold in the bottom of the shower and floor was dirty. But nice amenities and clean sink area with plenty of towels.

This is one of the bwst hotels we stayed at. The staff was so awesome and interacted with my 4 yr old grandson everytime we walked past desk. The rooms are vwry clean and beds are very comfortable. Will stay here again definitely.

We were in room 105 and it was the noisiest hostel I have ever been in. You could hear everything outside your door. Doors slamming no joke and I’m not exaggerating a thing, all night long. Please fix the doors so they can not slam shut. It’s unbearable being constantly woken up every hour of the night.

Mostly good. It would be nice if breakfast started earlier on the weekends, since we had an early soccer game. The price was too high for the style/amenities. It was also loud and you could hear everything in the hallway. Not great water pressure. Extremely comfortable bed and it got nice and dark with the shades down.

I stayed for 1 night. As a woman traveling alone, I booked this hotel because it is well known and safe. My checkout was the following day at noon (12pm). I was literally on the toilet at 8:43am when housekeeping came into my room without knocking or announcing themselves. She quickly apologized and said “I thought you were gone”. I understand mistakes happen, but as a woman rebelling alone that is a very scary and unsafe situation. Thankfully, she was a woman. I did tell the front desk, who said thank you for letting us know. They need to work on communication. That was a scary, uncomfortable, and unsafe position to be in.

Our stay was comfortable and relaxing all in all. The staff was quick to replace a noisy refrigerator after our first night. The breakfast was great and the staff were welcoming. Noise from children in the room above us went late into the night, but I guess that can't be helped.

Clair at the front desk was phenomenal during my 3 night stay! She was kind, knowledgeable and had a smile on her face even during a rush of guests checking in all at once. Only negative was the last night we stayed (and could finally sleep in before leaving) we were woken up at 6am by staff about a barking complaint. It was not our pet... he can not bark. We also couldn't hear any barking from any other room in our room so I don't think it was even near us.

Super helpful staff. From the front desk to the kitchen, everyone here is extremely helpful and go the extra mile for us as a matter of routine. I travel quite a lot and I’ve never had a better staff of people at a hotel. The hotel itself is fine, but the people are extraordinary!

Did a “Girlfriend Retreat” for 2 nights…despite the rain, it hit all of our boxes above including close proximity to a park to walk on paved trail! Great array of dining options and shopping downtown! Would be nice if the city of Culpeper had a shuttle that would make pick-up & drop-off stops to our hotel. Would highly recommend!

This was a nice hotel. Very quiet. The desk staff were kind and helpful. It’s a little ways from the center of town, but not too far. We drove there in less than 8 minutes. There are no Ubers or Lyft services and the taxi guy took a long time to reply (not the hotels fault). But would’ve been cool if there was a shuttle to the town center. The staff member in charge of breakfast was a little gruff at times (she was having issues with the pancake maker). Our room had a weird smell but it didn’t affect our stay. Overall, we were very happy

Hotel was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. I only wish breakfast opened earlier—a lot of people come for the horse shows in the summer and have to be at the show grounds by 5:30/6am. Having some grab and go breakfast options would be so helpful.

Excellent hotel. Clean. Very pleasant and thoughtful staff - anticipated our needs at check-in giving us extra linen for children without us asking. BEST breakfast we've ever had at a chain hotel like this. Everything on the buffet was fresh, and there was great variety. We've decided to book the same place on our return trip.
