Overall, it was a good place to stay. Close to Raymond James which is why I picked it. The pool needs to be better maintained. There were thousands of dead bugs in it because it never got skimmed. But that's not a deal breaker at the end of the day.

Reasonably priced and clean hotel near Raymond James Stadium. Staff was courteous. $10 parking fee for outdoor lot that was not disclosed at check in but showed up on the bill.

The pool was not up and available. The housekeeper did not service my room the second day and I did not leave a do not disturb sign on my door. She just didn't service it. No scrambled eggs on the breakfast menu?? (Boiled eggs). No way, lol

False advertising. Says a queen bed plus a sofa sleeper, but there’s not even enough room in the hotel room to open the Sofa sleeper all the way. Rooms are tiny. Pool is SOOOO DIRTY. Do not recommend.

People on the most were really nice and friendly but a couple could use a (good morning or good afternoon) put in their vocabulary. Main elevator need a lot of work both in looks, noises and speed. A Good fresh look in paint colors would make a world of difference to this property. Carpets in rooms are dated. CHAIRS in lobby area should be put in the dump was not at all inviting to even sit for the very limited breakfast offering.

Cleanliness of the kitchenette and bathroom left a lot to be desired. I have pictures of the floor. The towels didn't seem fresh and the water in the shower took forever to warm up even just a bit. I put up with it because I only booked it for 2 nights and spent time with family during the day. On the plus side, breakfast offered lots of choices! The WiFi didn't connect right away and add to have a special code to do so

I found dirty towels piled up in the bathroom floor once i came in, besides the soap wrap paper close to the sink as if someone was there right before us. Apparently no one made sure bathroom was clean nor organized. For a $200 night stay hotel, the standard completely failed in that aspect. It was too late and i was very tired to go down and wait to get that issue solved.

HORRIBLE!! I didn’t think it seemed very clean but was woken up to a ROACH crawling on me in bed!!! I screamed & woke my family up. My daughter grabbed toilet paper & flushed it down the toilet !! Won’t be sleeping the rest of the night !! Worse travel experience ever! Thank God I’m a light sleeper & knew I felt something. I’m sick over this Stains everywhere. Sofa bed is disgusting. Gross breakfast too.

The rooms are so comfy and clean! Love that there was a full length mirror in the room. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful!

I have slept in 42 countries while traveling for work and nearly as many states, slept on leaking air mattresses and rocky ground in the mountains, I’ve slept across three chairs and just on the raw ground. The mattress in room 19 is the wordy sleeping surface I’ve ever encountered in 72 years! Springs popped up randomly as I moved during the night. The bedspread was lumpy and should have been retired.

Pretty clean. Small, basic room which clearly was not checked…coffee maker broken, tub leaked, toilet handle hanging on. Nice breakfast. Quiet area, office park though doors are thin and you hear all noise in hallways.

I selected this place because it said it was a suite with a queen bed and a sofa bed. I thought it had a separate bedroom. When the email came with a photo of the room, I called the hotel asking if they had any suites with separate bedrooms. They said none were available. I asked if I could cancel. They said I would be charged for the room anyway. I asked if the sofa bed could be made up in advance so we wouldn't have to make it up when we arrived after midnight. We were told this was not possible. I asked if sheets were available in the room. They said I needed to request sheets for the sofa bed at check in. We did this, and bedding was brought to our room about 10 minutes later. The sofa bed was so close to the bed when opened up that it was almost touching the bed. Very cramped space. And the sofa bed was quite uncomfortable: thin mattress with bars that poke you. This room would have been great for a single person staying for a long stay. It had a nice kitchen, and two big closets. But for two people wanting two beds it was a bad choice.

The gentleman at the front desk was probably the nicest person I have ever encountered when checking in to a hotel. The room was very clean and convenient for a 7am Flight. One minor complaint was the air conditioning unit that sounded like a Jet Engine taking off every 20 minutes or so, which could not have been foreseen at check in. Otherwise we had a very pleasant evening

I was just staying one night to get some sleep before getting a rental car and driving to Naples. Handy shuttle for pickup from the airport and drop off to rental car center. The main problem was the extremely noisy fan on the air conditioning unit. It apparently could not be turned off. I had to cover it in seat cushions and bed cushions to drop the noise down to a level at which I could sleep. Staff were good. Breakfast was adequate.

stayed at TownePlace Suites by Marriott Tampa Westshore/Airport and really enjoyed the experience. The location is excellent—close to the airport with easy access to the surrounding area. The rooms were very clean and well-kept, and I especially loved having the full kitchen. It made the stay feel more comfortable and convenient. Was in room 350 and it was an adjoining ADA room that we did not request…we stayed for only few hours to get sleep between flights but the adjoining room was very noisy late at night, man and woman talking loud and TV sound also loud. Had to call front desk to let them know the situation and they said they will send somebody but I don’t know if they did because the sound did not go down and I had difficulty sleeping. Also room clock was 1 hour wrong so that is not good if guest didn’t notice. ADA bathroom doors did not close perfectly either, you can see the other in the restroom and does not have good privacy. I was disappointed with this stay and would like to be contacted by someone in charge. Front desk staff made note for the supervisor, please reply to my email. Thank you.

Great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. We did witness a morning employee behave inappropriately as a result of the night clerk leaving some tasks undone. She used a lot of foul language, yelling and screaming. It was the lady with the bleach blond hair. The other staff apologized over and over for her behaviour. Not fair to give a bad rating for all the others. She needs to get a hold of her emotions and be more professional. Other than that it was great.

Unfortunately when we arrived in town the system was down and we couldn’t check in at 8p. So I said would it help if we grabbed a bite and came back, the employee said yes and apologized. Upon returning we were able to check in BUT I learned there was another charge of parking which I was unaware of. Nobody’s fault I just don’t like surprise costs. Nice place to stay and employees were Friendly.

Rothschild was amazing. I had a lot of issues with my flight and needed a hotel for the night. She was so helpful with arrangements for the shuttle and even allowing me to check in early so I wouldn’t be sitting at the airport all day. She even signed me up for a membership so I could get rewards for future stays. All around great service. I will definitely stay again

Location was great and the free 24 hour shuttle was a HUGE plus! At first, I was very pleased because after a certain time, you either had to be buzzed in at the front door or you had to have a room card to get in. We arrived at the hotel about 1:50am. We ordered pizza and I specifically told the front desk that I did not want him to let the delivery guy up to the room. He said no problem and he would call me when the pizza arrived. Well, I am in the shower and to my surprise, there is a knock at my door.. it was the pizza guy. So, I went downstairs and asked the front desk why he let the delivery guy in and his response was that he didn't know if I changed my mind. It may not be a big deal to some but at 2:45 am, I do not want the hotel to let a delivery guy up to my room after I told them not to.

Janice, at the front desk was AMAZING! I came in after an Airbnb reservation went wrong and Janice was kind, professional, welcoming and empathetic. I'm very happy with our stay and that our dog was allowed too! The people who took care of the breakfast area were wonderful too!

We arrived a little early for check in. After the assistant manager looked up our reservations she made some changes that got us into an upgraded room and early. She was kind and helpful and saw that as a 3 generation family (2 under 3) that we were eager to settle in.

Loved how close it was to the mall, stadium, and airport. Also loved the quiet area it was located at. The room was comfortable and clean, and I was happy to see it was fully equipped with a full kitchen. Overall, very pleased with my stay here.

The property was I general terms ok . It was somewhat out of the way . The amenities were clean and the staff was very helpful . The breakfast was plentiful with lots of options Eggs, sausages, waffles , yogurt . The price for the night was very good considering that it’s Tampa .

Cleanliness of the kitchenette and bathroom left a lot to be desired. I have pictures of the floor. The towels didn't seem fresh and the water in the shower took forever to warm up even just a bit. I put up with it because I only booked it for 2 nights and spent time with family during the day. On the plus side, breakfast offered lots of choices! The WiFi didn't connect right away and add to have a special code to do so

The rooms are so comfy and clean! Love that there was a full length mirror in the room. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful!

Overall, pretty average, Breafkast wasn't good if you want eggs, they only had mini spinach quiches, instead of normal scrambled eggs. No bacon only some mystery meat looking chicken sausages and turkey sausages so it said, the turkey sausage was completely flavorless. Overall it was adequate, but for what it offered and with the airport noise factored in, and the kinda loud monitor A/C unit that the door was kinda falling off on, and the lack of a fan in the bathroom, it really should have been half the price. I paid $140ish for a Sunday night.

I liked the breakfast offerings. They were uniquely different in some ways. I liked the fact that there was a guest laundry. I wasn't too happy with one woman who was very snippy when she was working on the breakfast buffet. Everything had run out before 9:00 and people were wondering why she hadn't replenished the food. I also didn't like it when the front desk woman who was there one morning said that I threw my room keys at her. Those were her words. I had placed them in front of her, but anyone who was listening would have thought I was doing something wrong. I didn't appreciate that. She was surly when I approached her that morning. How she could have thought I threw anything at her was beyond my understanding. Her attitude was hostile, though she turned it around and said it was me. I was not hostile. The other employees were o.k.; however, there was a big difference in how she was and how the rest of the people were. I used to work for Marriott, so I know that her standards weren't very high in customer service.

Very disappointed in this place It seemed like a very budget hotel, I thought. Even the morning breakfast was about the worst I’ve ever had in a hotel. The Marriott brand lost some points with me after my stay here.

The key didn’t work to my room. Had to go back down to the front desk and get another key came back to the room. Tried the TV TV didn’t work. Had to have the attendant come to my room and try to make it work he couldn’t make it work so I had to change rooms. I went to another room on the fourth floor and the AC was very noisy and loud every time it came on and the next morning I went to use the sink and the water pressure wasn’t almost nonexistent so I didn’t even try to get hot water out of the sink. I use the kitchen sink overall I’d say Marriott needs to do a much better job of maintaining their properties

We were disappointed that this property was a branded as but not part of the Marriott chain. Hotel entrance was difficult to locate. Lobby was small and included breakfast area within feet of check in desk. Rooms were small and reasonably clean. Property is old and below quality of neighboring newer airport hotels.

Some watter issues upon arriving but fixed quickly. Was i formed of this at check in. Got to check in a few hours early which was fantastic.
